Machine learning (ML) based on the quantitative structure-property relationship model (QSPR) has become a massive method for testing the effectiveness of chemical compounds as corrosion inhibitors. The main challenge in the ML method is to design a model that produces high prediction accuracy so that the properties of a material can be predicted accurately. In this study, we examine the performance of polynomial functions in the ML-based NuSVR algorithm in evaluating the regression dataset of corrosion inhibition efficiency of pyridine-quinoline compounds.Methods: Polynomial functions for NuSVR algorithm-based ML.Result: The outcomes demonstrate that the NuSVR model's prediction ability is greatly enhanced by the application of polynomial functions. Benefits from online banking services such as  transactions via Internet banking are very convenient compared to traditional payment methods.  On other side is traditional payment methods transactions must queue and come directly to the bank. This study was done to find out what factors in Semarang City affected the adoption of university E-PS as online banking.Methods: 123 students have participated in this research. Six charactersitics were considered in a new study model that examinated how students’ intention to use E-PS was affected: convinience, perceived usefullness, risks, perceived trust and reputation. To validate the reearch model, the structural equation model approach using PLS-SEM was apllied.Result: The empirical result showed that perceived convinience, perceived usefullness and trust had e significan positive relationship with students’ intention to use the University’s E-PS.  The empirical results showed that perceived convenience, perceived usefullness, and trust had a significant_positivee_relationshipp_withhstudents’ intentions_to_use the E-PS university. Perceived convinience was also found to have a positive and significan effect on the perceived usefullness of students using E-PS. However, the perceived risks showed a non-significan negative relationship with tudents’ intentions to use E-PS.Novelty: While previous studies have explored the intentions to se E=PS. This research contributes the literature by invetigating the specific factors that influence the adoption of E-PS in the context of tertiary institutions. Additionally, this research provides empirical evidence on the relationhip between perceived convinience and perceived convience and perceived usefullness of using E-PS in univerities. Windiarti, Auratania Hadisah Sugianto","doi":"10.15294/sji.v10i2.43792","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.15294/sji.v10i2.43792","url":null,"abstract":"Purpose: This literature review aims to identify Multimodal Emotion Recognition (MER) in depth and breadth by analysing the topics, trends, modalities, and other supporting sources discussed in research over the years and between 2010 and 2022. Based on the screening analysis, a total of 14,533 articles were analysed to achieve this goal.Methods: This research was conducted in 3 (three) phases, including Planning, Conducting and Reporting. The first step was defining the research objectives by searching for systematic reviews with similar topics to this study, then reviewing them to develop research questions and systematic review protocols for this study. The second stage is to collect articles according to a pre-determined protocol, selecting the articles obtained and then conducting an analysis of the filtered articles in order to answer the research questions. The final stage is to summarize the results of the analysis so new findings from this research can be reported.  Result: In general, the focus of MER research can be categorised into two issues, namely the object background and the source or modality of emotion recognition. When looking at the object background, most of the 55% to support emotion recognition with a health background, especially brain function decline, 34% based on age, 10% based on gender, 1% data collection situation and a small portion of less than 1% related to ethnic culture. In terms of the source of emotion recognition, research is divided into electromagnetic signals, voice signals, text, photo/video and the development of wearable devices. Based on the above results, there are at least 7 scientific fields that discuss MER research, namely health, psychology, electronics, grammar, communication, socio-culture and computer science.Novelty: MER research has the potential to develop further. There are still many areas that have received less attention, while the ecosystem that uses them has grown massively. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to use a utility grid connected system to overcome changes in solar energy sources and loads. This is done to maintain an uninterrupted power supply to the load.Methods: In this study, we propose a grid-connected PV system with several DC-DC converters connected in parallel with several PV sources and batteries with PI control coordination. The proposed method includes two stages, namely the DC-DC converter development stage and the battery management strategy stage.Results: The study results show that within 0 seconds to 0.45 seconds the DC bus is supplied with PV. Due to the change in PV, within 0.45 seconds to 0.65 seconds the DC bus is supplied with unit-1 battery. When there is a change in the unit-1 battery, within 0.65 seconds to 0.8 seconds the DC bus is supplied with the unit-2 battery. By using PV coordination arrangements and battery units, the microgrid can still supply power to the load even if changes occur in the PV or grid.Novelty: The novelty in this study is a new microgrid configuration to increase the demand for electrical loads. The new configuration uses multi-PV and multi-battery. Decision tree analysis and random forest models will be used to construct the model, and various conditions within the dataset will be employed to classify the data accurately. The model's performance will be evaluated using a confusion matrix, and the probability of predicting spiral galaxies will be analyzed. The research will also investigate the differences in Total Power among signal types and identify Peak Frequency and Bandwidth values consistent across all signal types. This study is expected to provide important insights into galaxy classification and signal characteristics, specifically in the fields of astronomy and astrophysics.Methods: This study utilized the decision tree analysis research method to create a predictive model for identifying spiral galaxies using the Zoo galaxy dataset. The research approach focused on analyzing data before constructing a prediction model. The study did not involve random sampling, making it an observational study. Decision tree analysis was employed to classify galaxies into homogeneous groups, and a random forest model was used to classify galaxy types. This research provides insights into how decision tree analysis can be utilized to comprehend galaxy classification and can serve as a foundation for future research. To strengthen the conclusions, combining this research with other approaches such as experiments or random sampling can be considered.Result: This study developed a predictive model for classifying galaxies based on their Spiral type using decision tree analysis on the Zoo galaxy dataset. The model divided the data into specific groups based on certain conditions, and the results demonstrated exceptional accuracy of the random forest model in categorizing galaxy types. In addition, the study investigated various signal types in galaxies and found variations in Total Power, but consistent values for Peak Frequency and Bandwidth at 2 in all signals. These findings provide valuable insights into galaxy classification and signal characteristics, which could have practical applications in communication, signal processing, and analysis. The utilization of decision tree analysis and random forest models for galaxy classification and signal analysis represents an innovative approach in this field.Novelty: The novelty of this research lies in the new approach to categorizing galaxy types using decision tree and random forest models. Previously, the approach used to categorize galaxy types was through visual methods and observations via telescopes. It was conducted based on the premise that information quality and system quality positively influence the ease and usefulness of the system application. The ease and usefulness of the system application have implications for user satisfaction and the intention to continue using the system. The study employed Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using PLS (SEM) 4.0 to test and evaluate the measurement model and structural model. A sample of 235 respondents who are users of the online motorcycle taxi system in Semarang City was used in the study.Result: Out of 10 hypotheses tested, 9 hypotheses were accepted and 1 hypothesis was rejected. The usefulness of the system had a negative and insignificant influence on the intention to continue using the system. The intention to continue using the online motorcycle taxi application was strongly determined by the ease of the application system and user satisfaction. The discoveredings also showed that the quality of the system had the strongest influence on the ease of the system. The target users are from the tenant or seller side. The research locations were conducted in 2 (two) of the biggest malls in Palembang, namely Palembang Square (PS) and Palembang Trade Center (PTC).Methods: The research method applied is a survey involving online questionnaires using Google Forms.Result: The observed Fintech mobile applications are OVO and ShopeePay. The research collected data on 105 tenants of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The results show that the Fintech ShopeePay application (62%) is used more than OVO (38%). SME business actors are dominated by women (57%) compared to men (43%). These tenants are mainly in the Gen Z category (73%). Meanwhile, many of the business types of tenants are engaged in the culinary sector (42%). The irreducible polynomial chosen is . With this irreducible polynomial, an inverse multiplicative matrix is formed. The formed inverse mutiplicative matrix is implemented in the affine transformation process using the best 3 affine matrices based on previous research and 8-bit additional constants using AES S-box. This formulation produces 3 different S-boxes, i.e., S-box1, S-box2, and S-box3. Finally, the resulting S-boxes are implemented to carry out the image encryption process and are tested for their security level.Result: The test results show an increase in image encryption security compared to previous studies. Purpose: The naive bayes algorithm is one of the most popular machine learning algorithms, because it is simple, has high computational efficiency and has good accuracy. The naive bayes method assumes each attribute contributes to determining the classification result that may exist between attributes, this can interfere with the classification performance of naive bayes. The naïve bayes algorithm is sensitive to many features so this can reduce the performance of naïve bayes. Efforts to improve the performance of the naïve bayes algorithm by using a hybrid top-k feature selection method that aims to handle high-dimensional data using the naïve bayes algorithm so as to produce better accuracy.Methods: This research proposes a hybrid top-k feature selection method with stages 1. Prepare the dataset, 2. Replace the missing value with the average value of each attribute, 3. Calculate the weight of the attribute value using the weight information gain method, 4. Select attributes using the top-k feature selection method, 5. Backward Elimination with the naïve bayes algorithm, 6. Datasets that have been selected new attributes, then validated using 10 fold-cross validation where the data is divided into training data and testing data, 7. Calculate the accuracy value based on the confusion matrix table.Result: Based on the experimental results of performance and performance comparison of several methods that have been presented (Naïve Bayes, deep feature weighting naïve bayes, top-k feature selection, and hybrid top-k feature selection). The experimental results in this study show that from 5 datasets from UCI Repository that have been tested, the accuracy value of the hybrid top-k feature selection method increases from the previous method.
