Pada pembelajaran matematika di sekolah kita sering menemukan banyak siswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam memecahkan masalah disebabkan kurangnya kesadaran dan control dalam diri mereka. Kesulitan ini pun terjadi pada siswa kategori cerdas istimewa yang memiliki IQ di atas 130. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti ingin melihat bagaimana kemampuan yang dimiliki oleh siswa cerdas istimewa dalam memecahkan masalah matematika. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di sebuah SMP di kota Bandung dengan sample sebanyak 13 orang siswa cerdas istimewa. Untuk mengukur kemampuan metakognisi, siswa diberikan soal pemecahan masalah beserta angket metakognisi. Dari hasil penilaian pemecahan masalah, siswa cerdas istimewa memperoleh nilai rata – rata sebesar 59. Secara rinci, kemampuan metakognisi siswa cerdas istimewa berdasarkan angket yang mereka isi berada pada kriteria cukup baik untuk tahap planning, monitoring dan evaluating yaitu berada di kisaran 41% - 60%, dengan presentase berturut – turut 58,46%, 52,56% 53, 64%. turut 58,46%, 52, 56% 53, 64%. Metacognition is a level in the thinking process that students can use to solve problems, have awareness of their thinking processes, and control the way they think. In learning mathematics in schools, we often find many students who have difficulty solving problems due to a lack of awareness and control within themselves. This difficulty also occurs in the special intelligent category students who have an IQ above 130. In this study, the researcher wanted to see how the abilities possessed by special intelligent students in solving mathematical problems. This research is a descriptive qualitative method. This research was conducted in a junior high school in Bandung with a sample of 13 special intelligent students. To measure metacognitive ability, students are given problem-solving questions along with a metacognition questionnaire. From the results of the problem-solving assessment, the special intelligent students got an average score of 59. This study aims to examine the case of grounded-abstract representation in solving word-problem comparisons. This research is a qualitative-research with the type of case study. The case studied in this study is a collective case. The research subjects were two mathematics education students who had studied comparative studies. The research instrument is the researcher, word-problem comparison, indicator rubric, validation sheet, notebook and interview guide. The result of this research is the representation process that categorized into two in solving word-problem comparison, which are grounded representation processes to abstract representations and abstract representation processes to grounded representations. The conclusion of this study is there are four characteristics of the grounded-abstract representation process. The subjects of this study were 8 students of the mathematics study program of a university in Purwokerto, consisting of 5 students in the low positive mathematical disposition category and 3 students in the moderate positive mathematical disposition category. The results showed that the difficulties experienced by students in integral application material in the category of low and moderate positive mathematical dispositions were experiencing the same learning difficulties in the calculus 2 course, integral application material for area, namely difficulties in drawing function graphs and determining the area sought. Pemerintah dan guru telah berusaha agar pembelajaran selama pandemi dapat tetap berlangsung dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis problema pembelajaran matematika pada masa pandemi covid-19 melalui whatsapp group. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas VII.8 SMP Negeri 20 Pekanbaru sebanyak 40 siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa angket respon siswa, rekapitulasi tugas siswa, dan wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa banyak problema yang dihadapi guru dan siswa selama melakukan pembelajaran matematika melalui whatsapp group. Kendala yang dihadapi guru adalah sulitnya mengawasi pengerjaan tugas siswa karena tidak dilakukan secara langsung sehingga banyak jawaban tugas siswa yang mirip dengan jawaban siswa lainnya, selain itu siswa juga kurang aktif selama pembelajaran berlangsung. Kendala yang dihadapi siswa berupa kuota internet yang terbatas, jaringan internet yang buruk, siswa kesulitan memahami materi pelajaran, serta kurangnya semangat dan motivasi belajar siswa. Oleh karena itu, kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis sangat penting dikuasai siswa. Sedangkan, berdasarkan laporan TIMSS tahun 2015 dan 2013 ditemukan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa Indonesia masih rendah didukung data UNBK 2019 dan beberapa penelitian. Padahal, upaya peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis gencar dilakukan pemerintah melalui pengembangan Kurikulum. Artikel ini berupa hasil penelitian dengan tujuan menganalisis ada tidaknya perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa ditinjau dari sisi afektif Self-Regulated Learning (SRL). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif-komparatif. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 105 orang siswa kelas XI salah satu SMAN di Yogyakarta. Data kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa diperoleh dengan menggunakan tes, sedangkan data SRL diperoleh dengan menggunakan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) ada perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis yang signifikan antara siswa dengan kategori SRL rendah, sedang, dan tinggi; 2) ada perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa yang signifikan ditinjau dari dimensi SRL, yaitu motivation; time management; self-testing; dan using academic resources. Penelitian ini merupakan dasar acuan untuk mengungkap keterkaitan antara kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis dengan kemampuan SRL siswa. Critical thinking skills is one of the skills in the 21st century (4C) also one of the High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) abilities. Thus, students need to master mathematical critical thinking skills. However, based on TIMSS reports in 2015 and 2013 supported by the data from UNBK 2019 and several studies, it was found that Indonesian students' critical thinking skills are still low. The efforts in improving critical thinking skills have been done intensively by the government through the development of the Curriculum. This article is a research result that aims to analyze whether there are differences in students' mathematical critical thinking skills reviewed from affective side of Self-Regulated Learning (SRL). This study used a quantitative approach with a comparative descriptive method. The sample of this study were 105 eleventh grade students in one public high school in Yogyakarta. The results showed: 1) there is a significant difference in mathematical critical thinking skills between students with low, medium, and high SRL categories. 2) there is a significant difference in students' mathematical critical thinking skills reviewed from the SRL dimension, which are motivation; time management; self-testing; and using academic resources. Hasil pengolahan data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajara berbasis android dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa . This study aims to determine the effect of using android-based learning media made by researchers on student motivation and learning outcomes. Kajian interpretatif digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi hambatan belajar yang dialami santri dalam proses pembelajaran matematika di pondok pesantren. Tujuan utama kajian interpretatif ini adalah memahami secara mendalam suatu realitas yang berbasis filosofi fenomenologis. Terdapat beberapa hambatan belajar yang dialami santri dalam pembelajaran matematika di pondok pesantren, yaitu: 1) Hambatan ontogenik yang dialami santri berasal hambatan ontogenik instrumental dan hambatan ontogenik konseptual sehingga berpengaruh terhadap hambatan ontogenik psikologis, yaitu membuat motivasi dan ketertarikan santri terhadap pembelajaran matematika menjadi menurun; 2) Hambatan didaktik terjadi karena kurikulum matematika yang digunakan sama dengan kurikulum matematika di SMA atau MA sehingga berpengaruh terhadap penyajian dan pengajaran matematika oleh guru di kelas karena mengejar materi yang banyak sedangkan jam pelajaran yang terbatas jadi tidak dapat memaksimalkan proses pembelajaran matematika dan mengakomodir peningkatan kemampuan santri yang terkait dengan kebutuhan mereka sebagai kader ulama, termasuk dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir; 3) Hambatan epistemologis terjadi karena proses pembelajaran terpaku kepada buku teks SMA atau MA sehingga konteks pembelajaran sama dengan pembelajaran matematika di SMA atau MA dan tidak dikaitkan dengan konteks pengetahuan agama Islam atau sesuai dengan situasi (muqtadhal hal) pondok pesantren setempat. Interpretive studies are used to identify learning obtstacles. Penguasaan peserta didik terhadap metakognisi untuk memecahkan masalah, perlu diimbangi dengan spiritual yang kuat. Selain itu, segitiga sebagai materi yang dipelajari di sekolah, masih memiliki masalah terkait pemecahan masalah. Dengan demikian, mengembangkan modul pembelajaran berbasis metakognisi dan integrasi dapat menjadi salah satu solusi. Tujuan penelitian ini yakni mengetahui kevalidan modul pembelajaran segitiga berbasis metakognisi dan integrasi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan angket validasi kepada 5 ahli dan 3 praktisi pendidikan. Data kuantitatif dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik untuk menghitung persentase skor angket. Hasil komentar dan saran pada angket, digunakan sebagai acuan untuk melakukan revisi modul. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul pembelajaran segitiga berbasis metakognisi dan integrasi berada pada kualifikasi valid dengan persentase nilai akhir 85%. Kata kunci: Modul, Segitiga, Metakognisi, Integrasi Metacognition has played a significant role in the success of the problem-solving process. Mastery of learners of metacognition to solved problems needs to harmonized with solid spirituality. Additionally, the triangle as a material studied in school still has matters related to problem-solving. Thus, developing a learning module based on metacognition and integration could be one solution. The purpose of this study determining the validity of the triangle learning module based on metacognition and integration. Data collection techniques were carried by providing validation questionnaires to 5 experts and 3 education practitioners. Quantitative data were analyzed using statistical analysis to calculate the percentage of the questionnaire scores. The results of comments and suggestions on the questionnaire, used as a reference for revising the module. The results showed that the triangular learning module based on metacognition and integration was in a valid qualification with a final score percentage of 85%. Suarsana","doi":"10.15575/ja.v7i1.8529","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.15575/ja.v7i1.8529","url":null,"abstract":"Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan strategi Everyone is a Teacher Here di kelas VIII E SMPN 4 Sukasada tahun ajaran 2019/2020 karena memahami konsep matematika merupakan hal penting serta menjadi kemampuan dasar yang mesti dikuasai siswa supaya dapat mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir matematika tingkat tinggi, namun faktanya kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa masih rendah. Jenis pene-litian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Instrumen penelitian ini berupa tes pemahaman konsep berbetuk soal uraian dengan 6 pertanyaan di masing-masing siklus dan non tes berupa angket untuk mengetahui tanggapan siswa. Setelah dilaksanakan dengan 3 siklus didapatkan hasil bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif dengan strategi Everyone is a Teacher Here mampu meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa serta siswa menanggapi dengan positif pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model ini. Kata kunci: Pemahaman konsep, Matematika, Strategi Everyone is a Teacher Here This study aims to improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts through the application of cooperative learning models with the Everyone is a Teacher Here strategy in VIII E class of SMPN 4 Sukasada academic year 2019/2020 because understanding mathematics concepts is important and becomes the basic ability that students must master to develop high-level mathematical thinking skills, but the fact is the ability to understand students' mathematical concepts is still low. This type of research is classroom action research. The instrument in this study was a test of understanding the concept of problem-solving questions consisting of 6 questions in each cycle and non-test in the form of a questionnaire to determine student responses. After being carried out with 3 cycles, the result is the cooperative learning model with Everyone is a Teacher Here strategy can improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts and students respond positively to learning by applying this model.
