Penguasaan konsep yang benar harus didasari pemahaman konsep yang benar. Hakikatnya pemahaman konsep dan komunikasi ilmiah sangat penting dalam tujuan pendidikan Fisika di SMA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatakan kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan komunikasi ilmiah siswa dengan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dan diskusi kelompok. Desain penelitian adalah Control Group Pre-test Post-test, dengan populasi adalah siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 1 Subah. Sampel yang dipakai adalah kelas XI IPA I sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dan XI IPA II sebagai kelas kontrol yang menggunakan pembelajaran diskusi kelompok. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji gain, diperoleh pemahaman konsep kelas eksperimen meningkat 0,7 dan kelas kontrol meningkat 0,5. Hasil uji t pihak kanan menunjukan bahwa nilai thitung adalah 3,68 sedangkan nilai ttabel adalah 1,99 yang berarti bahwa hipotesis alternatif diterima. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kemampuan komunikasi ilmiah menunjukan siswa kelas ekperimen lebih tinggi dibanding dengan kelas kontrol, dengan nilai rata-rata kemampuan komunikasi adalah 83,98 dan 73,12. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT lebih baik dibanding dengan pembelajaran diskusi kelompok dalam aspek kemampuan pemahaman konsep dan komunikasi ilmiah. One of the physics educational goals in high school is the students’ ability to master the concepts and principles of physics and scientific communication skills . Mastery of the right concept must be based on the correct knowledge of the concept. Essentially, the comprehension of the concept and the nature of scientific communication is very important towards physics educational goals in high school. This study aims to determine the improvement of communication capabilities and understanding of students scientific concepts with NHT type of cooperative learning and group discussion. The study design is a Control Group Pre - test Post - test , the population is students of XI Science SMAN 1 Subah . The sample used was a class XI Science I as an experiment class using cooperative learning NHT type and XI IPA II as a control class using common learning group discussions. Based on analysis of the test, obtained the improvement of of the experiment class understanding concept of 0.7 and 0.5 control class improvement. Ttest results showed that the right side is the value of T is 3.68 whereas the value ttable 1.99 which means that the alternative hypothesis is accepted. Based upon the analysis of scientific communication capabilities, the experiment class students showed higher results compared to the control class, with average communication skills value of 83.98 and 73.12. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan jenis True Experimental Design . Desain penelitian dengan Control Group Pretest-Posttest . Data hasil belajar diperoleh dari hasil posttest sedangkan data kemampuan kerjasama dan komunikasi ilmiah diperoleh dari lembar observasi. Hasil uji t didapatkan bahwa hasil belajar, kemampuan kerjasama dan kemampuan komunikasi ilmiah kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol. Hasil uji gain didapatkan peningkatan hasil belajar kelas kontrol sebesar 0,52 (sedang) dan kelas eksperimen sebesar 0,73 (tinggi) . Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa melalui model pembelajaran problem solving mampu menumbuhkan kemampuan kerjasama dan kemampuan komunikasi ilmiah serta meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. The purpose of this research is to develop teamwork skills and the scientific communication skills also increase physics achievment of the students of SMA 9 Semarang in the XI-Natural Science graders. The method of the research is experimental which the type is True Experimental Design. The design of the study is Control Group Pretest-Posttest. The data of the students’ achivement is obtained from the result of the posttest while the data of teamwork skills and the skills of scientific communication are obtained from the observation sheet. The result of the t test is that the students’ achivement, teamwork and scientific communication skills of the experimental group is better than the control group. The result of the gain test is obtained that the increasing of the achivement of the control group is 0,52 (average) and the experimental group is 0,73 (high). Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas X-1 sampai dengan kelas X-4. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara acak menggunakan teknik random sampling. Pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran, kelas eksperimen mendapat perlakuan dengan menerapkan pembelajaran dengan model Physics - Edutainment dipandu dengan media Crocodile Physics dimana dalam penyampaian materi dan kegiatan sebelum praktikum, guru menampilkan media simulasi dan siswa memperhatikan. Kelas kontrol mendapat perlakuan dengan menerapkan pembelajaran dengan model Physics - Edutainment dengan ceramah. Desain penelitian yang digunakan berupa pretest – posttest control group design . Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode dokumentasi, tes, dan observasi. Berdasarkan hasil uji gain diperoleh data kelas eksperimen mendapatkan peningkatan sebesar = 0,67 dan kelas kontrol mendapatkan = 0,56 yang kedua kelas tersebut tergolong dalam kriteria peningkatan sedang. Uji ketuntasan belajar diperoleh persentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal untuk kelompok eksperimen sebesar 85 % dan kelompok kontrol sebesar 68 %. Hasil belajar psikomotorik dinilai pada pelaksanaan praktikum. Hasil belajar psikomotorik rata-rata kelas eksperiman sebesar 79,49, sedangkan rata-rata kelas kontrol sebesar 71,67. Hasil belajar afektif dilihat dari penilaian observer dimana rata-rata hasil aspek afektif kelas eksperimen sebesar 81,39 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 78,06. Simpulan yang diperoleh menunjukan bahwa pembelajaran Physics-Edutainment dengan media simulasi Crocodile Physics dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan mendapatkan hasil yang lebih baik daripada pembelajaran Physics- Edutainment dengan ceramah. This study aims to determine whether the learning model with the aid of Physics-Edutainment media Crocodile Physics can improve student learning outcomes. Population in this research is class X-1 to X-4 class. Sampling was done randomly using random sampling techniques. On the implementation of learning, classroom experiments treated by applying the model of learning Physics-Edutainment with media guided by Crocodile Physics where the delivery of content and activities before the practicum, teacher show simulations media and student attention. Class controls treated by applying learning with Physics -Edutainment model with lectures. The study design used a pretest - posttest control group design. Pembelajaran berbasis proses dapat dilaksanakan melalui question based discovery learning. Melalui question based discovery learning diharapkan keterampilan proses sains yang terdiri atas merancang, melakukan, menganalisis dan mengkomunikasikan akan meningkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan question based discovery learning dan mengetahui besar peningkatan keterampilan proses sains siswa dalam kegiatan laboratorium. Desain penelitian ini adalah pre eksperimen, dengan menggunakan p retest-posttest one group design. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa soal tes untuk pemahaman kognitif dan lembar observasi untuk keterampilan proses sains. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa question based discovery learning pada kegiatan laboratorium fisika dapat meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains. Results of initial observation and literature study showed that learning method which uses inquiry approach through practicum emphasizing the science process skill, has been used rarely, so it is necessary to develop it. Learning method inquiry can be held by question based discovery learning. Through question based discovery learning the science process skill consist of planning, doing, analyzing, and reporting would increasing. This research aimed to applying question based discovery learning in physics laboratory activity and to know the increase of students’ science process skill. Solusi dari permasalahan tersebut adalah penggunaan bahan ajar yang menarik minat siswa sehingga dapat meningkatkan pemahaman kognitif dan mengembangkan karakter. Komik sains dalam penelitian ini berisi materi energi panas dan energi bunyi serta materi bumi dan alam semesta yang dikemas berbasis inkuiri serta mengintegrasikan karakter. Unsur inkuiri tersebut dimunculkan melalui dialog dan kegiatan tokoh yang menggambarkan proses penemuan konsep serta percobaan sederhana. Penelitian menggunakan PTK yang terdiri dari tiga siklus. Data perkembangan karakter diperoleh dari observasi tiap siklus dan angket pengembangan karakter sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran. Data peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif diperoleh dari pre-test dan post-test serta evaluasi tiap siklus. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran IPA dengan berbantuan komik sains dapat mengembangkan karakter dan hasil belajar kognitif. The solution to these problems is the use of teaching materials that interest students so as to improve the understanding of cognitive and develop character. Comic science in this study contains material of heat energy and sound energy and materials of the earth and the universe were packed and integrating inquiry-based character. Elements of the inquiry raised through dialogue and activity figures depicting the concept of the invention as well as a simple experiment. Studies using PTK consisting of three cycles. The data obtained from the observation of character development each questionnaire cycle and character development before and after learning. Cognitive learning outcome data obtained from the pre-test and post-test and evaluation of each cycle. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development . Uji keefektifan menggunakan Pre-test and Post-test One Group Design . Komponen strategi kegiatan prapengajaran terbagi menjadi empat, yaitu zona alfa, warm up , pre-teach , dan scene setting . Komponen penyampaian informasi dan partisipasi siswa disajikan secara terpadu, yaitu The Power of Two , We’re The Light , Choose The Area , dan We Can Find It Ourself . Hasil uji kelayakan menunjukkan strategi pembelajaran layak digunakan. Setelah diterapkan, strategi pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa Students with low logic-mathematics intelligence usually have difficulty in understanding physics lesson. Physics learning that adapted the student’s intelligences need to be developed. Learning strategy based on the theory multiple intelligences is the planning about series of learning activities that designed and adapted with the student’s multiple intelligences to achieve the goals sets. The purpose of this research is to develop physics learning strategies based on theory of multiple intelligences and enchance students motivation and learning results. The method which used is Research and Development. Effectiveness test using Pre-test and Post-test One Group Design. The component of Pre teaching strategy divided into four, these are alpha zone, warm-up, pre-teach, and scene setting. The component of delivery of information and students activity presented in intregated way, these are The Power of Two, We’re The Light, Choose The Area, and We Can Find It Ourself . The feasibility test results shows that learning strategy is feasible to be used. Berdasarkan observasi, hasil belajar dan karakter siswa kelas VIII lebih rendah dibandingkan kelas VII dan IX. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan hasil belajar dan mengembangkan karakter siswa melalui pembelajaran SEA berbantuan Games. Karakter yang dikembangkan yaitu disiplin, rasa ingin tahu, dan komunikatif. Penelitian eksperimen ini menggunakan rancangan control group pretest posttest. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data meliputi dokumentasi, tes, dan observasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan uji gain dan uji t. Uji gain digunakan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar. Uji t digunakan untuk mengetahui signifikansi pembelajaran terhadap perkembangan karakter. Hasil belajar kognitif kelas eksperimen berada pada kategori sedang sedangkan kelas kontrol rendah. Hasil belajar psikomotorik kelas eksperimen dan kontrol berada pada kategori sedang. Hasil uji signifikansi menunjukkan perkembangan karakter kelas eksperimen lebih besar daripada kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran SEA berbantuan Games dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan mengembangkan karakter siswa. The physics learning process is still dominated by transfering concept, memorizing formulas, and social fenomena such as juvenile delinquency that resulted to lower in student learning achievement. Based on the observation, the student learning achievement and character in 8th grade lower than 7th dan 9th grade. This research aims to analyze the increased student learning achievement and developed student character by applied SEA assisted Games. Character that was developed in this research were discipline, curiosity, and communicative. This experiment research used control group pretest posttest design. Sample was taken by purposive sampling. Collecting data methodes in this research were documentation, test, and observation. The data was analyzed by gain and t test. Gain test is used to determine the increase in learning achievement. T test is used to determine the significance of learning to the development of character. The result of data analyzed, student learning achievement in cognitive domains, experiment class on the medium criteria and control class on the low criteria. The student learning achievement in psychomotoric domains, experiment and control class on the medium criteria. The result of t test, developing character in experiment class higher than control class. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VII salah satu SMP Negeri di Jepara. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling, diperoleh dua kelas sebagai kelompok eksperimen satu, dan dua kelas lain sebagai kelompok eksperimen dua.Kelompok eksperimen satu mendapatkan pembelajaran praktikum IPA berbantu LKS discovery dan kelompok eksperimen dua berbantu LKS ekspositori. Uji kesamaan dua varians menunjukkan varians data rata-rata keterampilan proses sains akhir kedua kelompok eksperimen sama. Rata-rata keterampilan proses sains akhir kelompok eksperimen satu sebesar 82,18, kelompok eksperimen dua sebesar 75,88. Hasil uji t menunjukkan thitung 6,54 lebih besar dari ttabel 1,97. Berdasarkan analisis disimpulkan bahwa rata-rata keterampilan proses sains akhir kelompok eksperimen satu lebih baik daripada kelompok eksperimen dua. Prosentase keterampilan proses sains akhir kelompok eksperimen satu sebesar 82,18%, kelompok eksperimen dua sebesar 75,88%. Hasil uji gain ternormalisasi diperoleh 0,34 dengan kriteria sedang untuk kelompok eksperimen satu dan 0,20 dengan kriteria rendah untuk kelompok eksperimen dua. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pembelajaran praktikum IPA berbantu LKS discovery efektif untuk mengembangkan keterampilan proses sains siswa. The aim of this research to investigate the effectiveness of science practicum helped by discovery worksheet to develop science processes skills. The population this research is students of VII SMP N 1 Jepara. Sampling was taken with cluster random sampling technique, obtained VII D and VII E as experimental group one, VII B and VII F as experimental group two, after analyzing the initial data population with the result normal distribution and homogeneity of data was same. Experimental group one got science practicum helped by discovery worksheet and experimental group two got science practicum helped by expository worksheet. The equality of two variances test indicate the data variance at both the experimental group was same. Average of final science processes skills experimental group one was 82.18 and experimental two was 75.88. The test result showen t 6.58 more than ttable 1.97. Based on the analysis concluded that final science processes skills of experimental group one better than experimental group two. The normalized gain test result showed 0.34 for experimental group one and 0.20 for experimental group two. Uji gain ternormalisasi digunakan untuk menganalisis peningkatan perkembangan karakter dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kontekstual dengan pendekatan Snowball Throwing dapat meningkatkan perkembangan karakter komunikatif dan rasa ingin tahu serta hasil belajar kognitif siswa karena melibatkan peran aktif siswa untuk menemukan pengetahuannya sendiri, berdiskusi untuk menyusun pertanyaan, menjawab pertanyaan maupun mengemukakan pendapat. This research purposed to know what determine the process of contextual learning model with Snowball Throwing treatment can develope communicative character and curiosly of Junior High School student. Method of the research that used is action research which held in two cycles. The method of data collection used attitude scale and test. Technic of analysis used method of summated ratings to analyse development of communicative character and student’s curiosly, and also percentage method to analyse student’s cognitive learning result. The normalized gain used to analyse increasing of character development and cognitive result. Pembentukan karakter dalam LKS dapat dipengaruhi melalui proses ajakan yang disampaikan dengan pesan komunikatif untuk membuka peluang terjadinya perubahan sikap yang diinginkan. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menyusun LKS fisika yang dapat mengembangkan keterampilan inkuiri dan karakter siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan ( research and development ). Penelitian ini terdiri atas uji kelayakan, uji keterbacaan, dan uji coba menggunakan desain Posttest-Only Control Design . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat kelayakan LKS menurut dosen dan guru berurutan adalah 92,50% dan 94,50% serta tingkat keterbacaan sebesar 69,27%. Hasil observasi menunjukkan karakter siswa berkembang dengan persentase 76,95% dan keterampilan inkuiri siswa berkembang sebesar 79,91%. Hasil angket menunjukkan karakter siswa berkembang sebesar 84,22%. Hasil uji signifikansi menunjukkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan LKS lebih baik daripada siswa kelas kontrol. Persentase tingkat kepraktisan LKS 77,93%. LKS fisika dapat dinyatakan layak, efektif, dan praktis digunakan. Student worksheets are used by the students to develop thinking capability. The character building in the student worksheets can be influenced through persuasive process that is presented by the communicative message to open opportunities for the desirable attitude change. The purpose of this study is to arrange Physics worksheets in order to develop the students’ inquiry skills and character. The methods used in this study were research and development. This research consisted of feasibility test, readability test, and trial test which used Posttest-Only Control Design. The result showed that the degree of feasibility according to the lecturer and teacher were 92.50% and 94.50%. In addition, the degree of readability of these student worksheets was 69.27%. The observation result showed that the students' character developed to 76.95% while the students' inquiry skill developed to 79.91%. The result of questionnaire showed that the students' character developed to 84.22%. The result of significance test showed that the cognitive learning outcome of the students in experimental class, who used student worksheets, was better than the students in control class. The percentage of student worksheets’ practicality was 77.93%.
