On the other hand, for the operating systems of the Apple's IOS and Android are installed on these mobile devices that enables user to receives diverse digital contents and applications. Particular, some real-time information can assist user to synchronize with the database via wireless network communications and then improve decision-making process and quality… In this research, to improve the hospital's service, we proposed an intelligent nursing information system on the mobile device. The proposed system named Intelligence Nursing Information System (INIS) adopted the Android OS as a platform and integrated with RFID device as the data collection reader. The integration of the mobile devices with RFID reader can provide nurses with the real-time nursing-care and drug delivery information. Because of the paper work of traditional working process can be reduced, therefore the proposed INIS solved the nursing-care problem about the asynchronous information and the delayed data in nurse workstation. Also, the RFID tag of INIS can reduce the input-output mistakes of human and improve the inconsistent data situation. Additionally, using RFID devices to identified for patient and then connected with database by wireless, so that to provide nursing with immediate, accurate and fast information about the patient.","PeriodicalId":307170,"journal":{"name":"The 16th North-East Asia Symposium on Nano, Information Technology and Reliability","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-12-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115914692","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Most evacuation systems consist of a indoor positioning system, a back-end database, and a display device with calculation and display software. However, very few of them can smartly determine which evacuation route is the best decision. If all the locations of the evacuating people can be simultaneously determined, the best evacuation routes can be decided to avoid congestion, and survival rate can increase. The previous radio frequency identification (RFID) based evacuation system focused on detecting the RFID tags using a mobile phone in order to determine the location of the mobile phone user so that an evacuation route can be displayed. However, the system is available for one person regardless of the number of evacuating people or exits. This study is based on the previous RFID based evacuation system investigating the best evacuation routes. The system introduces cloud computing that calculates for positioning the evacuating people and determining the optimum evacuation routes for each of them. The system will be implemented at Tamkang University on Lanyang campus.","PeriodicalId":307170,"journal":{"name":"The 16th North-East Asia Symposium on Nano, Information Technology and Reliability","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-12-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114300250","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In developing DT algorithms, it is commonly assumed that the label (target variable) is nominal or a Boolean variable. In many practical situations, however, there are more complex classification scenarios, where the labels to be predicted are not just nominal variable, but have distance or relation between each other. Since previous studies paid little attentions on this problem, they cannot be used to construct a DT from data with labels of distance concept. To remedy this research gap, this study aims to develop an innovative DT algorithm called “Construct a DT from data with labels of distance concept.” An empirical study was performed to evaluate the proposed algorithm on three real datasets. The experiments show that the proposed method can significantly increase the classification precision without sacrificing the classification accuracy. It is also demonstrated that the classification results can be effectively used for recommendation purposes.","PeriodicalId":307170,"journal":{"name":"The 16th North-East Asia Symposium on Nano, Information Technology and Reliability","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-12-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115596521","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, with the expansion in the field of sensitive systems e.g. e-health monitoring systems, a great emphasis is put on the period of time that the system will keep meeting its design requirements (i.e. System Reliability). However, there are no clear conclusions that can be drawn from the prior work in this field to clarify the mechanism of integrating the reliability concept and requirements in a smart mobile e-health monitoring system. In our belief, the full understanding of the term reliability and the concepts behind it with the requirements and specifications of the system is an important element in order for us to propose and create new special reliability mechanisms that fully match the system's objectives and enhance its reliability. This paper aims to propose a four-step pre-analytical conceptual study of the concept of reliability in relation to a smart mobile e-health monitoring system. Our approach aims to contribute toward the expansion of techniques for integrating the physical layer components' characteristics with the application layer objectives to optimize the best design of a reliable smart mobile e-health monitoring system, with respect to the patients' needs as performance requirements.","PeriodicalId":307170,"journal":{"name":"The 16th North-East Asia Symposium on Nano, Information Technology and Reliability","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-12-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134369794","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The key is to integrate comprehensive technologies and ubiquitous marketing services, facilitating an added-value system, to provide and manage added-valued marketing services. Added-valued marketing services are studied regarding both website and Smartphone application. One prototype website is a “Reservation Management and Marketing Added-value System,” and another is a “Ubiquitous Protector System for Travelers” for Smartphone. The added-value services provide consumers, lodging personnel and third-party services providers with benefits regarding usability, support, and development without being limited by time and location. Regarding the consumers, lodging personnel can track the whereabouts of consumers to not only ensure traveler safety but also market tours. Regarding the lodging personnel, the web system can promote cooperation between different businesses. For example, lodging personnel could have advanced cooperation with the manager of a scenic spot. Regarding the third-party services providers, the integrated system provides them a convenient way for marketing purposes, such as announcing preferential programs and keeping favorites (interests) of each consumer. The system not only enables a direct connection with the manager and services providers, but it also provides consumers instant access to the services and equipment. Additionally, the system increases the quality of service and facilitates the easy achievement of maximum efficiency. Based on developments in the lodging industry, this paper provides a study case for additional reference value.","PeriodicalId":307170,"journal":{"name":"The 16th North-East Asia Symposium on Nano, Information Technology and Reliability","volume":"82 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-12-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125007107","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The algorithm extracts a vector of instruction-group frequencies from all basic blocks of original program and constructs a vector matrix. Furthermore, the scheme generates watermark based on the principal component analysis (PCA) technique and modifies the vector matrix to embed the watermark. With the system, spreading the watermark over the code provides not only a high level of stealth but also a global protection for the original program. The scheme not only can effectively detect tampering, but also has the ability to identify the type of tampering clearly.","PeriodicalId":307170,"journal":{"name":"The 16th North-East Asia Symposium on Nano, Information Technology and Reliability","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-12-22","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130009040","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
