The method used is to increase the knowledge and educational skills of the community through interactive lectures and discussions, video screenings and educational games. This activity was carried out for 1 day and took place at the Nusantara Syariah Hotel, Bandar Lampung City. Participants totaled 40 people who were health cadres, members of the Indonesian doctor's wife association and family doctors in the city of Bandar Lampung. The results of the evaluation of the implementation of community service found that there was an increase in the understanding of the participants by 92.5% to a good understanding, 7.5% of the participants had a fairly good understanding, and no participants had a lack of understanding regarding a healthy lifestyle and fulfilling balanced nutrition for children to prevent malnutrition. The average pre-test result was 57,3 and there was an increase in the post-test result, which was equal to 83. Based on the analysis using the Wilcoxon test, it was found that there was a statistically significant difference in the mean pre-test and post-test scores of the service participants (p=0,000). Activities to increase community participation to fulfill balanced nutrition for children based on food consumption as an effort to prevent malnutrition such as stunting have proven effective.","PeriodicalId":306770,"journal":{"name":"Poltekita: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130684177","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The high potential of natural resources and tourism, combined with the lack of diversity in processing local food ingredients in Indramayu, requires action to maximize the management of local food ingredients from a technological aspect. This activity aims to improve the quality of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through guidance and assistance in ensuring the quality of each product menu offered to customers. The activity method consists of: Focus Group Discussions, Identification of Indramayu's Typical Souvenir Potentials, Hygiene-Sanitation Education and Assistance, as well as Nutrition Value Calculation and Packaging Design for one of the MSMEs, namely Abon Ikan Gabus. Based on community service activities that have been carried out, it was found that the potential of Indramayu's natural resources for producing nutritious souvenirs is still underutilized, and there is a need to increase knowledge about hygiene and sanitation in food service, as well as information about product nutrition values and attractive product packaging design. Therefore, it is concluded that the potential of Indramayu's typical souvenir products is high, with the availability of local food ingredients, adequate knowledge with branding for nutrition and packaging. The purpose of the service is to provide skills for pregnant women in detecting the condition of pregnant women as early as possible through filling out the Poedji Rochjati Score Card. The court activity was attended by 10 pregnant women who were held at the Muda Setia Poskesdes, Bandar Sei Kijang District, Pelalawan Regency. The results of the service show the ability of pregnant women to carry out early detection through filling out the KSPR as many as 3 pregnant women. that training for pregnant women in using the Poedji Rochjati Scorecard is very necessary, because with pregnant women knowing every development of pregnancy every month, pregnant women become more concerned about the possible risks of pregnancy that might arise and immediately have their pregnancies checked by health workers.
