Cada espaço urbano pode ser contextualizado \u0000em função da sua utilização e das práticas sociais. Demonstra-se como se podem usar ferramentas \u0000complementares ao estudo da forma e evolução urbanas, em função da influência de uma determinada \u0000indústria, no caso a das conservas, no desenho territorial. Para descodificar morfologicamente o espaço \u0000urbano recorre-se a comparações e correlações entre 6 casos de estudo – Setúbal, Matosinhos, \u0000Peniche, Espinho, Lagos e Portimão. Enquadram-se estes núcleos numa análise de fontes primárias e \u0000análise estatística geral. A partir desta contextualização é possível sistematizar o problema e trabalhar \u0000no encontro concreto de influências que uma qualquer actividade económica pode exercer sobre um \u0000território específico.\u0000 The analysis of urban shape and evolution is the way for the understanding the city and forces an \u0000evaluation of the method and the analysis tools, focusing on each situation, avoiding generalized \u0000approaches. Each urban space can be explained by its use and social practices. We demonstrate the use \u0000of complementary tools for the study of urban shape and evolution, as a result of the influence of a \u0000determined industry, specifically canning, in spatial design. To morphologically decode the urban space, \u0000we resort to comparisons and correlations between 6 case studies - Setúbal, Matosinhos, Peniche, \u0000Espinho, Lagos and Portimão. These clusters are analyzed by using primary sources and statistical \u0000analysis. El presente estudio tiene por \u0000objetivo comprender la peculiaridad en esta configuración a través de la exégesis de la propia historia \u0000urbana y de la movilidad de la capital griega. La investigación se centra en el análisis de las numerosas \u0000proposiciones de instalación de metro desde los años 20 hasta los años 80. Esta “polifonía” de planos se \u0000estudia, sin embargo, de una manera estrictamente ligada al crecimiento urbano de la ciudad. Su \u0000diagnóstico permitirá observar las pautas recurrentes de los diferentes trazados, que han persistido y \u0000modelado una especie de arquetipo. Los aparentemente diferentes documentos, a pesar de su abismo \u0000temporal, obedecen a tácticas en común.\u0000 The metro network of Athens currently consists of three lines: one electric railway line, constructed in the \u0000nineteenth century, and two more contemporary underground ones. The present study aims at \u0000comprehending the uniqueness of this configuration through the interpretation of the urban history and the \u0000mobility of the Greek capital. The research is focused on the analysis of the numerous proposals that had \u0000been put forward regarding the metro layout from 1920 up until 1980. The pluralism of the designs has been \u0000studied from the perspective always maintaining, however, in the context of the city’s urban growth. Its \u0000outcome reveals a set of common patterns that emerge among the different routes forming a persistent \u0000archetype. En este marco, la investigación que está por detrás de este texto, pone foco en el análisis de \u0000localidades del centro y noroeste argentino que operan como sede de celebraciones, dando cuenta de los \u0000actores y factores que intervienen y de los cambios territoriales que resultan. In this \u0000framework, the research that is behind this text puts focus on the analysis of localities in the center and \u0000northwestern Argentina operating as a venue for celebrations, realizing the actors and factors involved and \u0000territorial changes that result. The methodology proposed to parallelize several case studies on their \u0000similarities and differences. Este trabalho faz parte \u0000de uma pesquisa maior que procura entender o atual processo de apropriação do espaço urbano das \u0000cidades médias no estado de São Paulo, Brasil. Com dados estatísticos georreferenciados, utilizou-se \u0000como variáveis de análise a renda familiar, a densidade demográfica e a tipologia habitacional, \u0000destacando-se especialmente dois movimentos – o da implantação dos conjuntos habitacionais de \u0000interesse social, destinados à população de baixa renda, e o da implantação de loteamentos \u0000habitacionais com controle de acesso, destinados à população de média-alta e alta rendas. Como \u0000resultado da pesquisa, foram identificadas novas formas de segregação socioespacial.\u0000 This article aims to show the paradigm change center-periphery through an analysis of the current \u0000dynamics that occurred in the geographical periphery of Sao Carlos, Brazil midsize city. This work is part \u0000of a larger research that seeks to understand the current process of appropriation of the urban space of \u0000the medium-sized cities in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. With geo-referenced statistical data, it is used as \u0000analysis variables household income, population density and housing typology, highlighting especially two \u0000movements - the deployment of housing of social interest, for the low-income population, the deployment \u0000and of housing developments with access control, to the population of medium-high and high rents. The adaptation of western models seems to be a \u0000proper way to follow, as by taking the example of the Parisian Latin Quarter for the thematic regeneration of \u0000the Southern Downtown of Budapest, but cultural differences make the applicability of these models \u0000questionable. A case study of the Budapest site analyses how the Latin Quarter model has been applied, \u0000covering the bases, the concept, the implementation and the results of the process. Results show that the \u0000regeneration process based on public space renewal was able to transform the area into a youthful, \u0000bohemian Latin Quarter that attracts both locals and tourists. Parte do princípio da insustentabilidade do transporte coletivo e \u0000através de revisão bibliográfica foca o tema da necessidade do planejamento do transporte para as áreas \u0000urbanas e metropolitanas, da sua organização e da priorização do transporte público e coletivo frente ao \u0000veículo particular. Como estudo de caso, aborda o transporte urbano na cidade de Barcelona e seus \u0000principais modos de transporte coletivo: o metrô, o trem e o ônibus, contextualizando e diagnosticando cada \u0000modalidade. Apresenta para análise a Avenida Diagonal, concebida no Ensanche de Cerdá, em 1859, sua \u0000evolução e os projetos viários municipais implementados para a mesma. Conclui que a cidade ainda carece \u0000de um planejamento integrado para os transportes, mas coloca que em parcelas da Avenida Diagonal \u0000(trecho Glorias-Fórum), esta apresenta uma organização e integração modal exemplar.\u0000 This paper discusses about capital cities and urban traffic, conceptualizing terms of mobility and accessibility \u0000and considering the issue on transportation mobility and sustainability planning in contemporary cities. It \u0000focuses the issue of transportation planning for urban and metropolitan areas, its organization and yet, \u0000prioritizing public transportation before the private vehicle. It approaches urban transportation as a case \u0000study in Barcelona and its main public transportation means, to wit: metro, trains and bus, contextualizing, \u0000making reference and diagnosing each modality. It presents Diagonal Avenue for analysis, which was \u0000conceived at Ensanche de Cerdá in 1859, its evolution and road municipal projects for it. En Barcelona, al mismo tiempo que se empieza a construir el Ensanche, se distinguen sobre \u0000el territorio algunos núcleos periféricos que forman una corona que lo rodea. Hacia el oeste, los pueblos de \u0000Hostafrancs, Sants, Les Corts y Sarrià componen un eje imaginario que, al ir edificándose la ciudad, \u0000también se va consolidando.
