Als Sample liegen dabei sowohl schriftliche und als auch mündliche Textmedien vor, die auf den Sachunterricht der vierten Klasse ausgerichtet sind. Diese werden entlang der Frage, ob es einen gemeinsamen Wortschatz in den ausgewählten Fachtexten gibt und ob es didaktisch sinnvoll ist, diesen gemeinsamen Wortschatz in thematischen Einheiten zu systematisieren, untersucht. Dabei werden die schulische Bildungssprache sowie die fachdidaktische Funktion als theoretische Ansatzpunkte dargestellt.
