For maintaining the grid discipline Availability Based Tariff (ABT) method has been followed. It is the frequency linked tariff system. ABT has three part tariff system such as fixed charge, variable charge and unscheduled interchange (UI) charges. The UI charges are depends upon the deviations in the grid frequency of the power system. The proposed software based ABT method is used to analyze the reliability of grid, and it is implemented by using visual basic and MS-excel.","PeriodicalId":305797,"journal":{"name":"2011 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON RECENT ADVANCEMENTS IN ELECTRICAL, ELECTRONICS AND CONTROL ENGINEERING","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125407205","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Here we introduce an advanced technique with GSM module. The solar pumps which work by utilizing the energy from the SOLAR ARRAYS and the power from the PV are stored in a battery. The power from the battery is inverted and given to the pump for irrigation. This pump is also controlled by the GSM module. The use of GSM mode is to start and stop working of pumps using mobile phone; the water level monitoring is also done by the GSM mode which this also provides the message for each hour. This is done with the embedded C in PIC16F877A microcontroller. The main advantage of this project is optimizing the power and also saving government's free subsidiary electricity (22% of total power production in India). This proves an efficient and economy way of irrigation and this will automate the agriculture sector.","PeriodicalId":305797,"journal":{"name":"2011 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON RECENT ADVANCEMENTS IN ELECTRICAL, ELECTRONICS AND CONTROL ENGINEERING","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128420979","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The paper presents comparison analysis of two clipping-filtering schemes. The first one performs clipping of a signal at the Nyquist rate while in the second implementation a signal is oversampled before clipping. The schemes are compared through their PAPR reduction ability (complementary cumulative distribution functions for two schemes are examined) and bit error rate performance. The influence of the non-ideal amplification on the clipped signals is also considered. Some analytical estimations as well as simulation results are given.","PeriodicalId":305797,"journal":{"name":"2011 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON RECENT ADVANCEMENTS IN ELECTRICAL, ELECTRONICS AND CONTROL ENGINEERING","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129188630","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

That is, it allows the system generated content to be superimposed over a live camera of the real world. It is an absolutely graphical experience that is combined with real world circumstances. Here, the landmark will be acquired as an input of the image by sight-based camera parameter estimation methods by using SFM (STRUCTURE FROM MOTION) technique. In this paper, we are going to overlay real still images of landmark with virtual computer graphical images. These SFM techniques which have been discussed earlier in some of the previous papers will not work in real time applications because of its high cost. But here, this method will achieve fast and accurate landmark estimation based on SFM and we obtain the 3-D structure of a landmark by using this technique which has no need of information about the scene.","PeriodicalId":305797,"journal":{"name":"2011 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON RECENT ADVANCEMENTS IN ELECTRICAL, ELECTRONICS AND CONTROL ENGINEERING","volume":"61 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130900403","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In current fed isolated converters, an auxiliary circuit is essential to clamp high transient voltage across bridge switches caused by transformer leakage inductance. The proposed converter has auxiliary circuit that can transfer clamped energy from primary side of converter to the output. Further the auxiliary circuit is also utilized for soft switching of bridge switches. In this paper, the operation of the proposed converter is explained in detail, and its features and design are discussed. Simulation results are presented to verify the improved performance of proposed converter.","PeriodicalId":305797,"journal":{"name":"2011 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON RECENT ADVANCEMENTS IN ELECTRICAL, ELECTRONICS AND CONTROL ENGINEERING","volume":"64 6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131043890","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This work is focused to increase the identification accuracy without increasing the size and complexity of filter bank. The drive for this new feature extraction technique comes from a transformation which is based on the Nyquist filter bank consuructed using Gaussian filters. This new feature extraction technique has been compared with MFCC feature for different lengths of utterances. Experimental evaluation is carried out on MEPCO telephone speech database with 50 speakers using Gaussian Mixture Model (GMM). The proposed feature set performs significantly better than the MFCC feature set achieves 6% higher average accuracy compared to the MFCC feature set for utterance lengths of 20 seconds.","PeriodicalId":305797,"journal":{"name":"2011 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON RECENT ADVANCEMENTS IN ELECTRICAL, ELECTRONICS AND CONTROL ENGINEERING","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2011-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116830424","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
