The quality of an educational program is typically evaluated by defining and assessing program level outcomes. The College of Computer Sciences and Information Technology (CCSIT) at King Faisal University is currently accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). However, the program outcome assessment process that is suggested by ABET to evaluate the level of students is manual, time consuming, and complicated. An attempt is made within CCSIT to automate the program outcome assessment process using a Web-based approach. This Web-based tool maps various course assessment results to program outcome rubrics. The program outcome assessment results are provided in the form of color-coded tables and bar charts. At present, Thermal IRFPA (uncooled IRFPA) detectors become more suitable to replace quantum IRFPA (cooled IRFPA) in many applications due to its competitive features of power consumption, cost, and weight. Unlike cooled IRFPA, designers could utilize the absence of diaphragm aperture in uncooled IRFPA detector to design a dual field of view (DFOV) for optics with two different f_numbers (f/#). DFOV of two f/# yields a distinct contrast level when switching the FOV. All digital-contrast processing requires a post processing routine which consumes much time and resources, or offers a manual-adjustment feature which is very slow and results in a disturbing solution. For this purpose, firstly, we exploit visual, audio and tactile modalities to discover the most suitable signal for alerting the car drivers in drowsiness detection systems. Secondly, the resultant signals are merged into various combinations to form multimodal warnings. From this, we got four different combinations. Furthermore, we have done an experimental evaluation in order to identify the most effective and efficient multimodal warnings for drowsiness detection systems. Results from our observational studies showed that the most suitable unimodal signals are as follows: (1) 40 ms on and 50 ms off the flashlight of smartphone for visual warning, (2) Apple iOS Ringtones-Alarm for the audio warning, and (3) 1 pulse in a second with 500 ms inter-stimulus interval for the vibrotactile warning. From the experimental study, we found that the most efficient and preferable warning for alerting the drowsy driver is multimodal signal consisting of visual, audio, and tactile modalities. To this end, we propose a multi-modal portable system for physiological signal acquisition such as the electrocardiogram (ECG), electromyogram (EMG), and electroencephalogram (EEG). The proposed system is used to acquire signals while users are interacting with horses. The captured signals will then be used in order to quantitatively evaluate human and equine interaction by mapping the signals to the emotional state of the subjects using machine learning techniques. In this preliminary study, ECG based features were utilised in order to create a supervised classification model that can identify emotions elicited during human-horse interaction. However, this is not the case. There are many factors that may affect the comprehension of lectures in the classroom including class size, visibility of the whiteboard, student's level of concentration, student's level of comprehension to name a few. Our main aim is to find a better way to offer the best education experience for students using the latest innovative solutions in technology. During our survey of Virtual Reality (VR) applications, we identified several readily available applications most of which were related to either medical education, tourism or other domains of sciences. None of the applications were available for general education where a complete classroom is transported into virtual reality. In this paper, we developed a VR framework that enhances the learning experience of students who face difficulties in the classroom. Moreover, we developed a complete prototype system to validate the framework. The proposed framework makes learning immersive, interactive and narrative offering enhanced motivation to students. The prototype system setup involves setting up a camera in the classroom to capture the whiteboard. Visuals from the whiteboard augmented with the course material (lecture slides) are compiled together to create a virtual space for the students. Students can interact with the virtual classroom by a provided set of tools in the virtual space. Three raters were engaged in the classification process, where they labeled each tweet according to its polarity (positive, negative, neutral, objective, spam, and not sure) and the emotion it carries using Ekman basic emotions (anger, fear, disgust, sadness, happiness, surprise, no emotion, and not sure). The data show comparable kappa and Fleiss’ kappa values for both polarity and emotion classification. The average agreement among any two raters was 65%, the average kappa for any two raters was 0.55, and Fleiss’ kappa for the three raters was 0.55. These values for kappa and Fleiss’ kappa indicate a moderate agreement. The values of kappa and Fleiss’ kappa statistics and the mapping between polarity and emotion classification in the SDTC confirm the consistency and regularity of the classification process. Cyber aggression can be found in many forms; however, the main focus in this study is cyberbullying and cyberstalking acts. Previous studies focused on understanding the causes and effects of physical and digital aggression in different settings and have shown strong relationships between cyber aggression and the physiological and physical influences on both offenders and victims. Nevertheless, the literature shows a lack of research that could measure the level of acceptance and tolerance of these destructive cyber acts. This study focused on developing measurable scales with reliable items to determine the level of acceptability and tolerability of cyber aggression acts. The researcher used factors discovered in the literature to create the scales’ items. The developed scales were analyzed and tested to increase reliability as indicated by the Cronbach’s Alpha value. The scales were designed to measure how acceptable and tolerable is cyberbullying and cyberstalking in Saudi Arabia. The results show a strong tolerance level of cyber aggression activities, on the other hand, high acceptance was absent. It can also be called as a repository for educational materials. The quality of Educational-information System can be improved by using various new technologies and one such is the Mobile Learning (also called as m-Learning). Many developing countries are in a dilemma whether to consider mobile learning in the educational sector or not. In particular, the Ministry of Education in Saudi Arabia is planning to improve the quality of educational-information system by improving the infrastructure but they are not sure about the acceptance of mobile learning for teaching and learning by the teachers. So, in this research, we considered a case study and carried out a survey which examined the possibility of adoption and acceptance of mobile learning in the Saudi Arabian high schools from teachers' perspective. This study used a quantitative approach survey of 160 students using a modified acceptance framework called as the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model. This model is adopted to determine the factors that influence the teachers’ intention to use m-Learning in high schools for teaching and learning.
