Efficient Data Classification for IoT Devices using AWS Kinesis Platform

Abstract

In the Internet of Thing (IoT) field, different kinds of IoT devices from small and simple devices to powerful devices are connected to communicate with each other continuously. As all the devices are connected to each other, providing efficient data classification and security is important for transforming the information from all the connected devices Most researches did not provide a thorough study of IoT data classification in one frame work because it’s hard to manage all resources for IoT, We need to classify various IoT devices and security requirements of IoT devices depending on classification of information. In this paper we survey different techniques used for data classification in IoT devices like ontology approach and provide detail study of efficient data classification using stream data and security for IoT devices using different services provided by AWS Kinesis platform
