The procedure is algebraic and requires the resolution of a system of linear equations. The method can be applied to find the impulse response of a linear time-invariant (LTI) system modeled by an ordinary differential equation and also to compute the solution of an ordinary differential equation with constant coefficients. We believe this technique can be useful for the analysis of LTI systems in time domain, since it is conceptually simple and can be easily implemented as algorithms in software packages like Scilab and/or Matlab.","PeriodicalId":304068,"journal":{"name":"2018 XIII Technologies Applied to Electronics Teaching Conference (TAEE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128503439","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, it must be part of the practical content in any Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree that teaches the students in the photovoltaic systems engineering field. This paper presents the progress-achievements of two research groups -from Argentina and Spain- in the design of electronic prototypes or ad-hoc systems that carried out this experiment and which have subsequently been integrated into teaching practices. In addition, this knowledge has been incorporated into the research area in which the groups are involved.","PeriodicalId":304068,"journal":{"name":"2018 XIII Technologies Applied to Electronics Teaching Conference (TAEE)","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114911326","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These applications are already an important tool in our daily life. From the point of view of the penetration of this mobile technology in the different scales of the society, university students are one of the main users of this mobile technology. For this reason, this work proposes a learning mobile application entitled EnjoyCircuits for Fundamentals of Electric Engineering of the Industrial Technology Engineering Bachelor. This mobile application is a learning tool based on the resolution of quick problems of circuit theory. With EnjoyCircuits students can do a dynamic review of the Fundamentals of Electric Engineering anywhere and anytime. Moreover, they can compete with other users in the EnjoyCircuits ranking.","PeriodicalId":304068,"journal":{"name":"2018 XIII Technologies Applied to Electronics Teaching Conference (TAEE)","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114914134","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As a contribution to improve the way this integrated circuit is included in electronic engineering courses’ curricula, it was designed and implemented a reconfigurable and expandable kit to teach electronic circuits based on the OpAmp uA741. Able to run in a PC, the kit comprises a software application locally interfaced with a hardware platform. This platform includes a circuit with the OpAmp uA741 able to be reconfigured according to a set of parameters defined by a software application. Besides the reconfiguration capability provided by this kit, it also enables the establishment of automatic connections for measuring or applying signals to a reconfigured circuit, plus the ability to simulate the same or other OpAmp-based circuits. This paper provides an overview about the OpAmp uA741 and about its relevance in engineering education. Features and functionalities provided by the kit is described. At the end, supported by a technical demonstration of the kit in an international conference, some teachers’ opinions about their perceptions concerning its adoption in a real educational scenario are presented.","PeriodicalId":304068,"journal":{"name":"2018 XIII Technologies Applied to Electronics Teaching Conference (TAEE)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132642524","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
