The purpose of this study was to find out: (1) Is the improvement in students' understanding of mathematical concepts given guided discovery method assisted by software Autograph higher than students who were given guided discovery method learning without Autograph software, (2) Is there an interaction between learning with students' initial mathematical ability to increase the ability to understand student mathematical concepts. This research is a quasi-experimental study. The population of this study is that all classes in the fourth semester mathematics education study program are approximately 184 people. Randomly, two classes were selected from six classes. The experimental class was treated with a guided discovery method assisted by autograph and control class given a guided discovery method without the help of autograph. The instrument used is a description test. Data analysis was performed by analysis of two-way variance (ANAVA). The results showed (1) Increased ability to understand mathematical concepts of groups of students who obtained guided discovery method learning using Autograph software higher than the group of students who received learning through guided discovery methods without software autograph. The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe students' mathematical connection abilities reviewed through the application of SAVI learning approach based on environment and expository learning. This research is a quasi-experimental research, in this study consists of three stages, namely the preparation stage, the implementation phase and the data analysis phase. This study took two parallel classes which were randomly homogeneous by applying different learning methods, namely the experimental and control classes. Based on the results of data processing obtained Fcount for learning is 119,653 with a significance of 0,000 < 0,05. Then H0 is rejected or Ha is accepted. This means that there are differences in the increase in mathematical connection skills between experimental class students and control class students. The objectives of this study were (1) to describe the use of mathematics learning media assisted by the Lectora Inspire software to improve the number sense ability of students, (2) to describe the increase in the ability of students' number sense through mathematics learning media assisted by Lectora Inspire software. The ability of the number sense studied is related to ordinary fractional material. Indicator of the number sense ability in question is understanding the basic meaning of fractions, understanding the effect of operations on fractions and using appropriate calculations. This study is a classroom action research, carried out at SD Swasta Kartika I-2 Medan in the academic year 2018/2019. Based on the results of the study showed that the mathematics learning media assisted by the Lectora Inspire software in the developed class V SD fraction material was declared feasible to use because it could affect the students' number sense ability. Based on the results of the final test in cycle I, there were 15 students (41.67%) achieving KKM scores, while the final test results in cycle II obtained 31 students (86.11%) achieved the KKM score. Based on the results of the end of cycle I and II tests obtained as many as 16 students (44.44%) experienced an increase in the number sense ability related to fraction material. The results of the observation sheet for teacher and student activities in the first and second cycles are in good category.
