Methods 19 cases were included in this study. Pre-treatment dental cast(T0) and post-treatment dental cast after staged treatment(T1) were available for three-dimensional model superimposition. Subsequently, movements of maxillary teeth in horizontal plane (cross section) after staged treatment, width of upper and lower dentition were measured by three-dimensional model superimposition in real world and Invisalign Progress Assessment separately. Consequently, the data collected from these two methods was compared. Results In Invisalign Progress Assessment, movements of maxillary teeth in horizontal plane after staged treatment was 2.31(1.59,3.22 ) (median (upper quartile, lower quartile)) millimeter (mm), while in three-dimensional model superimposition, the result was 1.79(1.21,3.03)mm. The difference between two groups is significant(P<0.05). Intercanine width upper, intermolar width upper, intercanine width lower, and intermolar width lower were 36.55±2.76mm, 56.98±2.62mm, 28.16±1.85mm, 53.21±2.72mm separately in Invisalign Progress Assessment and were 36.48±2.78mm, 56.89±2.58mm, 28.05±1.85mm, 53.16±2.64mm separately in three-dimensional model analysis, which were no significant difference among these groups (P>0.05). Conclusions The data from Invisalign Progress Assessment was not in parallel with what achieved from model superimposition with palate as reference completely. The accuracy of model superimposition in Invisalign Progress Assessment needs further investigation, whereas the accuracy of model analysis in Invisalign Progress Assessment was accurate. Thereby, results from Invisalign Progress Assessment should be interpreted with caution by the orthodontist in clinic.","PeriodicalId":302843,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Nursing & Healthcare","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124878119","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In most cases, treatment strategies in NEBC are empirical in absence of prospective trial data on NEBC cohorts. Herein, we present two case reports diagnosed with anaplastic large and small cell NEBC. After initial therapies analogue to those of breast cancer (BC) or neuroendocrine cancers (NEC) had failed, comprehensive tumour profiling was applied, leading to individualized treatment options for both patients. Due to targetable mutations and important co-alterations, the PIK3-mTOR pathway was highlighted from different aspects in both patients. The epicrisis of the two patients exemplifies how to manage the challenge of rare and difficult to treat cancers and how new diagnostic tools contribute to medical management.","PeriodicalId":302843,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Nursing & Healthcare","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124359476","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, the objective of the study was to investigate the effect of Behavior Change and Communication (BCC) through the women development Army on optimal nutrition and health practices of pregnant women. Methods In the Ambo district, 770 pregnant women participated in a two-arm parallel cluster randomized controlled community trial with baseline and end-line measures (385 in control and 385 in intervention groups). Endpoint data from 372 intervention and 372 control groups were gathered, respectively. In the intervention group, health development armies delivered the BCC's main message. The intervention began in July 2018, and end point data were collected from pregnant women (n = 744) in October, 2018. The control group received the typical care provided by the healthcare system during an ANC visit. Descriptive statistics, chi-square test, bivariable and lastly multivariable binary logistic regressions analysis was used to control confounders. Statistical analyses were conducted on intention-to-treat (ITT) basis and p value <0.05 was used to declare statistical significance. Result The overall optimal nutrition and health practice were higher in the intervention group than in the control group (62.6% vs. 39.0%, P<0.001). Pregnant women who received intervention had two times higher odds of optimal nutrition and health practices compared to pregnant women who were in the control group (AOR = 2.051, 95%CI: 1.318-3.192). In a multivariable binary logistic regression analysis (p<0.05), being in the intervention group, educational status, estimated time to reach the health institution, and knowledge about nutrition and health were found to be significantly associated with optimal nutrition and health practices. Conclusions Behavior change communication (BCC) through the women's development army is effective in improving optimal nutrition and health practices of pregnant women. Therefore, to improve the optimal nutrition and health practices of pregnant women, BCC through the health development army is recommended.","PeriodicalId":302843,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Nursing & Healthcare","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131301170","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A key premise of the organization is that offering veterinary services creates a trusting relationship with pet owners that fosters guiding human clients toward obtaining services for their own health and well-being [1]. Pet owners face significant barriers to obtaining care for themselves due to the lack of pet-friendly housing, shelter, and medical care clinics [2]. Methods: To support this vision, SVO partners with human care service providers to co-locate, allowing for pet-friendly access to needed services. Up until now, the decision about partners has been made based on immediate needs, circumstances, and availability. The purpose of this study was to develop a data-driven process that would assist in identifying the type of human care services needed, create a ranking system to assist in securing these services and identify partners that can co-locate with SVO mobile clinics to address human care needs. Relying on data collected by SVO staff and volunteers and incorporating attributes of potential partners into the discussion, a data-driven process for partner outreach was created. Results: A new process was created that is currently in use and will be incorporated into staff responsibilities. Conclusion: The new process offers an opportunity to ensure that the needs of pet owners are being best served.","PeriodicalId":302843,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Nursing & Healthcare","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123065637","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
