Overview of IoT Embedded Systems The pervasiveness of Internet of Things (IoT) embedded systems in the digital era has significantly transformed numerous industries, including healthcare. These interconnected devices, capable of collecting, transmitting, and analyzing data, offer immense potential to improve healthcare service efficiency, accessibility, and quality. However, the escalating volume of sensitive health data being generated and exchanged necessitates the implementation of robust security measures. A critical element in this regard is Identity and Access Management (IAM), which governs the control of user identities and their access privileges within a specific system [1].","PeriodicalId":302843,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Nursing & Healthcare","volume":"72 3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-04-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140709342","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study evaluated the relationship between the type of psychoactive substances among traffic injured admitted to the medical center. Methods: Injured drivers (100 used drugs), (260 control group), who were transferred to 7-Tir Hospital from April 2021 to March 2022 were studied. The information related to the accident scene, personal characteristics, and the substance used was collected from the police and the medical center documents. We used multiple logistic regression to find the important factor in outcomes. Results: The mean age of the case group (37.49 ±13.61) compared to the control group (34.18 ±14.05) was significant (p=0.044). The most common substances in the case group were opioids which had the highest mean age (41.90 ± 13.541). Injured who used sedatives had higher signs of head trauma than the others. Also, being guilty had a remarkable difference in the groups (94.6 vs 62.4 p= <0.001). Motorcyclist drivers were 185(65%) as responsible for the accident, in addition, 69(69%) were in the case group. Head trauma, type of accident, and level of triage had a significant effect on the death of the injured. Conclusion: Using sedatives causes increased head trauma. Driving under the effect of psychoactive drugs is more common among motorcycle drivers, and a large percentage of them were guilty of accidents.","PeriodicalId":302843,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Nursing & Healthcare","volume":"37 8","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140513511","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Acute pancreatitis (AP) is a common illness. Therefore, it is critical to assess AP severity as soon as possible. This review aimed to ascertain the predictive significance of the CRP to albumin ratio in individuals with AP. Methods: We searched PubMed, Science Direct, and Cochrane Library electronic databases Until January 2023. Studies that reported the CRP/alb ratio at admission and its relationship to the severity or death of patients with AP were included. Using a random-effects model, we computed the pooled mean difference (MD) and 95% confidence interval (CI). The quality of the included studies was evaluated using the Newcastle-Ottawa scale. Results: This meta-analysis combined data from six trials with a total of 2244 patients. Upon admission, the CRP/alb ratio was higher in patients with severe AP than in those with mild to moderate AP (pooled MD:3.59; 95% CI:2.51- 4.68; p<0.00001). Additionally, non-survivor AP patients had a substantially higher CRP/alb ratio than survivor AP patients (pooled MD:2.12; 95% CI:0.43-3.8; p < 0.01). In conclusion, individuals with AP may benefit from a high CRP/ALB ratio as a preliminary indicator of poor prognosis.","PeriodicalId":302843,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Nursing & Healthcare","volume":"52 5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140513901","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main points of contention here are the value of maintaining cervical health, the contribution of the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) to the development of cervical cancer, the necessity of Pap smears for early detection, and the preventive measures that can be taken to keep cervical health. It has covered the function of HPV, the significance of Pap smears, and a number of preventive strategies, such as HPV vaccine, responsible sexual behavior, and routine screenings. The author has placed a strong emphasis on the necessity of ongoing awareness campaigns and the vital role that healthcare providers play in teaching patients about cervical health throughout this essay. By putting these steps into practice, we can lower the prevalence of cervical cancer, identify anomalies early on, and ultimately save lives. For those who are interested in learning more about cervical health and for medical professionals who want to help and counsel their patients, this paper is a great resource. It emphasizes how crucial it is for medical experts, legislators, and the community to work together in order to realize the vision of a world free from cervical cancer and manageable with it.","PeriodicalId":302843,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Nursing & Healthcare","volume":"287 2-3","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140514464","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Physical activity promotion in primary care is regarded as the best approach for combating chronic disease. This study investigated the common beliefs and opinions among general practitioners and nurses on promoting physical activity to patients in Ireland. This research took a mixed-methods approach consisting of an online questionnaire (n=79) and semi-structured interviews (n=8). Lack of time, expertise, cohesiveness, referral pathways, and exercise professionals were the main barriers to physical activity promotion experienced. A small minority (7.6%) of participants were trained in exercise prescription, and 40.5% had knowledge of a local exercise professional. Furthermore, the research indicated that 70.2% of GPs and 86.4% of GP nurses did not provide an exercise referral. Physical activity promotion in primary care needs a cohesive approach. The purpose of the work. Improving the technique of dental implantation in the area of free vascularized fibular flap in the projection of the jaws in adolescents who underwent jaw resection. Materials and methods. In this study, 9 patients with jaw neoplasms who underwent jaw resection aged 12 to 18 years (average age 13.4; 5 girls, 4 boys) were treated, including 6 patients with malignant tumors and 3 patients with benign jaw formations. Results. Based on digital planning, it was possible to improve the technique of dental implantation in the projection of a free fibular flap in adolescents who underwent jaw resection. This made it possible to reduce the risks of complications of dental implantation in the projection of a free fibular flap in adolescents who underwent jaw resection. Also, digital planning optimizes surgical intervention in the volume of dental implantation. 8 patients were fully rehabilitated by the time of adulthood (prosthetics was performed on dental implants in the area of a free vascularized fibular graft in the projection of the jaw) and 1 patient, due to the failure of the fibular flap, was rehabilitated using removable prosthetics. Conclusions. How to activate the self-organization? The answer is - by closing the cycle. We drink water and other liquids and the urine is the waste product of our body functioning. To close the cycle means to start drinking the first urine – one 200 ml glass every morning (before breakfast, of course). By doing this we are raising a red flag: Attention, the body is malfunctioning, turn on the self-regulation [1]. To turn on the self-regulation mechanisms of your body, you must of course drink your own urine - don’t fall in the traps of companies trying to sell you products made from their urine.","PeriodicalId":302843,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Nursing & Healthcare","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-07-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125915497","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
