In the course of the work, an improvement of Mean Time To Failure (MTTF technique was achieved by varying different failure cost of maintenance with targeted system reliability for a gas processing system and this was done using LINGO application programming bundles which was used to run a Nonlinear Mixed Integer Programing Model (NLMIP) to effectively enhance the processing plant and the reliability of five individual systems, including air compressing system: impeller, bearings, mechanical seals, valves and cooling fan within the gas compression system. The Excel solver was utilized to process the mean time to failure (MTTF) and the evaluated MTTF was additionally used to assess and understand the system failure history. From the study outcomes, it was ascertained that the MTTF of a system can be controlled through a maintenance planned support program The study outcomes also helped to determine that an alternative way to deal with the conventional maintenance practice is developing a support program through the execution of system reliability that reviews the system framework and sub-component and key parameter index, such as repair rate and failure rate.","PeriodicalId":301862,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Membrane Science and Technology","volume":"36 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-03-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140249183","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Preventing tax loss through inspections can be difficult due to missing or incomplete taxpayer data from transaction processing servers. Explaining undeclared or incompletely declared revenue in online trading transactions on the server or the Internet can be challenging, especially for retail activities and service provision for businesses and individuals selling on social networking. In Vietnam, the Tax Management Law 2019 established the tax rates online retailers must pay. However, tax collection for social network retailers still depends on tax authorities encouraging them to self-declare their revenue. Current research and practice show that very few sellers on social networks participate in the self-declaration of revenue to pay taxes. Moreover, few studies focus on factors affecting the participation of online retailers in Vietnam in tax declaration and payment, especially those selling on social networks, and most lack a solid theoretical foundation. Through a review of related studies, this research has identified several factors that affect tax payment decisions for retailers on social networks in Vietnam. The study also provides several recommendations to promote and enhance retailers’ tax declaration and payment decisions on social networks in Vietnam.","PeriodicalId":301862,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Membrane Science and Technology","volume":"273 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140427927","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Objectives: This study aimed to investigate the interplay between emotional intelligence (EQ), anger, and violent behavior among medical students. Specifically, it sought to analyze the association between emotional intelligence levels and the expression of anger and violence, as well as to compare emotional intelligence and aggression tendencies between male and female students. Methods: A correlational research design was employed, utilizing online surveys as the data collection method. A total of 200 medical students aged between 19 to 30 years participated in the study. Emotional intelligence, anger expression, and violent behavior were measured using standardized scales. Statistical analyses including descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and independent sample t-tests were conducted using SPSS 23.0 software. Results: The findings revealed a significant negative correlation between emotional intelligence and both anger expression and violent behavior. Male students exhibited higher levels of anger and violent behavior compared to female students. Emotional intelligence scores were lower in male students, indicating a potential contributing factor to their heightened aggression tendencies. Conclusion: The study provides empirical evidence supporting the association between emotional intelligence, anger, and violence in medical students. Lower emotional intelligence levels were linked to increased anger expression and violent behavior. These findings underscore the importance of integrating emotional intelligence education programs into medical curricula to mitigate aggression tendencies and promote healthier interpersonal relationships among students.","PeriodicalId":301862,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Membrane Science and Technology","volume":"92 5","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140426539","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Consequently, they create huge amounts of data on these social networks: their profile, interests, and behaviors such as posting, commenting, liking, joining groups or communities, etc. One of the basic issues in these challenges is the problem of estimating the similarity among users on these social networks based on their profile, interests, and behavior. This paper presents a model for estimating the similarity between users based ontheir behavior on social networks. The considered behaviors are activities including posting or sharing entries, liking these entries, commenting and liking the comments in these entries, and joining a group in the social networks. The model is then evaluated with a dataset collected from Facebook users. The results show that the model correctly estimates the similarity among users in the majority of cases.","PeriodicalId":301862,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Membrane Science and Technology","volume":"29 8","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-02-24","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140434326","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
