Podoksenov","doi":"10.24888/2073-8439-2022-60-4-84-90","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.24888/2073-8439-2022-60-4-84-90","url":null,"abstract":"In the article, based on the analysis of rich pedagogical experience of the greatest methodologists of the pre-revolutionary period and the Soviet era, the most effective mechanisms for organizing work on the development of speech and thinking of students while learning the Russian language are considered. A particular attention is paid to the works of prominent domestic teachers and methodologists, starting with F.I. Buslaev, who was one of the first to put forward a demand for restructuring the system of teaching the Russian language, paying more attention to acquiring the skills of using the language in live speech by students. In subsequent years, numerous publications appeared on the development of thinking and speech while learning the Russian language, the content of the most significant of them is reflected in this article. The authors present various views of language teachers on the problem of the development of thinking and speech of students, but at the same time it is emphasized that all of them are united by an understanding of the need for a close connection between logic, grammar and style. It is shown how the methodologists of the past connected the development of logical thinking of schoolchildren with the development of creative activity, which in turn led to an increase in the practical orientation of the study of theoretical information on grammar. Based on this judgment, various exercises related to the study of logic and grammar are presented, which are considered by philologists as a means of solving stylistic problems. Trunova","doi":"10.24888/2073-8439-2022-57-1-51-59","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.24888/2073-8439-2022-57-1-51-59","url":null,"abstract":"The article deals with the issues of replenishment of the lexical system of the English language and the ways of working with neologisms during the lessons with bachelor students, future teachers of foreign languages. The authors note that the language is a dynamic constantly developing system. From year to year the number of neologisms in the spheres of technology, the Internet, medicine, socio-political phenomena, pop culture, sport and business is increasing. The existing definitions of neologisms and a number of their classification are considered. The importance of studying English neologisms by pedagogical university students is outlined, as the knowledge expands and deepens language and pedagogical competence, increases the motivation to study theoretical language subjects, makes the speech more authentic. The criteria for the selection of neologisms for expanding the students’ vocabulary are considered in detail. Methodological principles of selecting neologisms for students are described. Training and speech exercises used during the warm-up during the lessons of English are offered. Training exercises help to firstly memorize and provide the automatic use of new words. They include substitution, filling in the gaps, association chains. Speech exercises are aimed at developing speaking skills in the forms of monologue and dialogue, as well as group discussion. Neologisms are a speech material for creative, professionally-oriented and communicative tasks. An individually developed form of teaching and the development of the dialogical component of the educational process has a strong influence on the improvement of intellectual students. Modern society needs a graduate who thinks independently. An individually creative approach makes it possible to launch the mechanism of general self-development. In this work, the task is to consider ways of implementing intellectual students in universities. Various forms of cooperation between a teacher and students are presented, where self-control and a set of rules of behavior are actively improved. The article also includes the features of teaching dialogical speech, the need for the teacher's creativity, the ability to abstract thinking. The special role of personality culture in the process of becoming a modern specialist is presented. The author proposes to focus on tasks of a creative nature, emphasizing the primary role in the development of intellectual students. In the theory of the educational process, one can single out such pedagogical phenomena as self-expression of students, the ability to think independently, conduct dialogical speech, and operate with hypotheses. The possibility of constructing a monitoring system for the intellectual development of students of higher educational institutions is approved. In accordance with the structural diagrams of mod-els of intellectual assessment of knowledge and creative potential of schoolchildren in mathe-matics, the structure of the corresponding knowledge base is formalized. The knowledge base is developed within the framework of data mining methods to create a module for monitoring and assessing knowledge in mathematics. As a methodological basis for the development of a knowledge base, the idea of V.P. Bespalko about the representation of the possible structure of human activity in the form of suc-cessive levels of assimilation, reflecting the development of the student's experience in a given subject in the learning process. The levels of assimilation (student, typical, heuristic, research) are determined through the ability to solve problems of the corresponding type. A formalized in-dicator of a student's achievement of a particular level of assimilation of educational material (level of training) is the coefficient of assimilation; assessment of the assimilation of material on a specific topic or section is provided for both at each of the above levels, and in general. The examples of the formation of a knowledge base for assessing the skills and abilities of schoolchildren in algebra are considered. To model the educational process, we propose methods for solving clustering, dimen-sionality reduction and classification problems based on machine learning and artificial neural networks. The foundations for the development of integrated complexes of knowledge bases and artificial intelligence tools to ensure the educational process are presented. The professional profile of a lawyer, according to the normative documents, assumes as an obligatory component of le-gal competence the ability to reasonably and clearly construct oral and written speech, as well as to carry out written and oral communication in Russian. Expressiveness of speech is an inte-gral element of these competencies. However, as practice shows, the culture of speech of specialists in the field of law cannot be considered sufficient, which clearly indicates a contradic-tion between the official requirements for specialists in this field and the real state of affairs. It occurs mainly due to the relatively low level of knowledge on the issues of achieving expressive-ness of speech, as well as due to ignoring this requirement as a component of the communicative culture of a lawyer. The revealed discrepancy determined the purpose of the work, the essence of which is to consider expressiveness as the quality of speech of lawyers, from the standpoint of its essential characteristics, as well as methods and conditions of implementation. To achieve this goal, an analysis of the current definitions of the concept of “expressiveness of speech” was carried out, which made it possible to substantiate the following: the expressive speech, subject to the condi-tions imposed on it, is definite, consistent, substantiated, understandable and expressive. To achieve expressiveness in a public legal environment, various tropes are used (comparison, metaphors, epithets, personifications, and others) and figures of speech (antithesis, anaphora, epiphora, repetitions, inversion, and the like). This article is dedicated to the topical theme of the development of ethnic identity. The purpose of this work is the analysis of the stages of the formation of ethnic identity. Ethnic identity is regarded as a part of social identity as well as a process of awareness of the belonging to a particular ethnic group. This article examines domestic and foreign classifications of the formation of ethnic identity. In the current work cross-cultural studies connected to the differences in ethnic belonging at different age periods are examined. The present paper addresses ethnic perceptions, ethnodifferentiating traits as well as the main socialization agents that influence the development of ethnic identity in each individual age period. The methodological difficulties that researchers face in studying the formation of ethnic identity are indicated. The results of the study of the formation of ethnic identity on the example of the biographical method “Ethnic autobiography” are considered. Four stages of ethnic identity formation are highlighted: preschool age, primary school age, adolescence, youth age. In preschool age ethnic perceptions are characterized by instability and socialization agents such as family and preschool institutions play a significant role. In the primary school age school and peers play an important role in the development of ethnic identity. This period is characterized by the diffusiveness of ideas about one's own ethnic identity. In adolescence affective component of identity prevails over the other components. This stage is characterized by a deeper understanding of one’s ethnicity, the commonality of historical fate and religion. Awareness of ethnic identity based on ethnodifferentiating traits occurs in adolescence and considered as most stable compared to previous age periods. This age is characterized by the most complete system of self-awareness as a member of the ethnic community.
