Transformations in the global educational area, rise in the quota for teaching foreign students in Russian universities and increase in demand for Russian educational programs within the framework of education expanse become the main factors which determine the need for a comprehensive study of creating an effective multiethnic educational environment of the university. Such an environment is an important condition for the formation and functioning of the processes of multicultural education, relevant in the context of globalization. The article defines the key approaches to the study of the concept of a multiethnic educational environment, reveals the relationship of this concept with the terms \"intercultural educational environment\" and \"multicultural educational environment\". The multiethnic educational environment is considered in the article from several positions: as a condition for successful intercultural adaptation of foreign students in a Russian educational organization; as a set of specially organized conditions for ensuring multiethnic interaction of representatives of different nationalities and faiths in the educational process of higher education, as well as a factor of early prevention of interethnic conflicts in the conditions of current internationalization of higher education. In addition, the article describes the organizational structure of the multiethnic educational environment of the classical university, in which there are six interrelated components forming a system aimed at the formation of intercultural competence of the individual. A general trend in the development of educational systems is their reorientation to the formation of self-education skills, training strategies for working with information. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the possibility of using the potential of the constructivist approach in teaching information and search activities to high school students. In the context of the constructivist approach, the concepts of “information search activity” are clarified, the pedagogical conditions for the formation of the ability to carry out information search are developed and justified. The authors describe the structure of readiness for self-organization of information search activity, it includes motivational, procedural and reflexive components, as well as evaluation and diagnostic tools for studying the level of the formation of high school students' readiness for self-organization of information search. The article describes a model developed by the authors on the basis of the ideas of pedagogical constructivism and metacognitive learning for the formation of high school students ' readiness for self-organization of information and search activities, which is based on the integration into the educational process of a set of special exercises and optional tasks, testing and reflection of their own information and search activities. Within the framework of the experiment, methods of problem-based, project-based, and reflexive learning, as well as teaching metacognitive strategies for interacting with information, were implemented into the subjects of the social and arts cycle. The content of the military-pedagogical experience, which synthesizes the worldview, moral, professional, intellectual, emotional, aesthetic and physical sides is revealed. The components of military-pedagogical experience (high skill, harmonious combination of teaching and educational work with the scientific search for ways to improve it, the system of professional and pedagogical qualities) are substantiated theoretically. Two aspects necessary in the process of teacher acquisition of military pedagogical experience are highlighted and described: personal (pedagogical orientation, professional erudition, harmony of intellectual and moral qualities, optimism, personal responsibility, self-demand) and practical (reliance on scientific data and best practices, aspiration to self-improvement, analysis of various types of activities in the context of digital transformation of education). The scientific novelty of the article consists in describing the essence and content of the military-pedagogical experience of a teacher of a departmental university, which operates in the context of digital transformation of education. It was concluded that military-pedagogical experience, in modern conditions of digital education, ensures the effectiveness of the educational process of a departmental university, increases the role of the human factor in solving professional problems, in making management decisions.
