The exact decision of the equations can only be found for some definite spatial distributions of acoustic waves. In general case, the steady wave approximation of the incident wave is used to solve them, while the realistic solution can only be obtained numerically. Here, we present a solution of said equations, which is the convergent series of terms in the form of multiple integrals. This exact solution leads to following important results. First, it allows to construct in explicit form an approximate analytical solutions, which give qualitative and quite precise quantitative description of both spatial and spectral dependence of diffracted wave. Second, the exact solution serves for the basis of the general theorem concerning the smoothing features of instrument function of acousto-optical (AOTF) spectrometers and their spectral resolution. The theorem was used for optimization of measuring procedure of AOTF spectrometers and development new spectrum reconstruction techniques. All the results follow from the solution of the pair of truncated coupled-mode equations and therefore can be extended to those physical phenomena, which are described with such a set of equations, in particular, to the processes of light parametric generation or conversion","PeriodicalId":301144,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of LFNM 2005. 7th International Conference on Laser and Fiber-Optical Networks Modeling, 2005.","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2005-12-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126622998","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The modeling procedure of XeCl-laser excitation systems is developed, allowing to calculate the form of a voltage pulse on laser electrodes and energy input in the active medium. The dependence of discharge gap resistance on time is usually simulated by exponential empirical dependence. In this case the breakdown voltage of inter-electrode gap must be taken from experimental data also. For each gas mixture, parameters of time dependence of discharge gap resistance and value of inter-electrode breakdown voltage have different values. Consequently, the results, which are obtained in this manner, have practical significance for definite gas ratio of mixture, We have developed the simple model, which takes into account the dependence of discharge gap parameters from gas pressure and composition. The solution of Boltzmann equation for electrons in electrical field (E/N) and calculation of kinetic processes may be carried out. In this case the effective rate of electrons formation may be approximated as function of gas composition and (E/N). The principal aim is to develop a theory of multiwave mixing in complex molecular media in conditions of exhibited internal (scattering from dynamic gratings) and external (resonator) feedback, to determine a mechanism of light field transformations at the dynamic holograms and by nonlinear interferometers, to work out and introduce into practice novel nonlinear-optical methods for the control over the energy and spatial-temporal characteristics of light beams. The possibilities for phase conjugation with simultaneous frequency conversion of a signal wave are analyzed. Such gratings develop due to appearance of interference field created by summation of the incident wave and scattered waveguide TE- and TM-modes. Competition of noisy gratings is affected by two-dimensional Bragg's diffraction on primary gratings, which results in appearance of mutually amplified secondary gratings. At linear beam's polarization, deviated from P-polarization, appearance of tertiary noisy gratings becomes possible due to analogous Bragg's diffraction on secondary gratings. So a quite simple case of diffraction, combined with positive feedback, leads to a complicated step-type evolution","PeriodicalId":301144,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of LFNM 2005. 7th International Conference on Laser and Fiber-Optical Networks Modeling, 2005.","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2005-12-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115839282","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The one of most exciting features of such lattices is a possibility to reverse a sign of optical nonlinearity when a direction of light beam propagation is close to Bragg angle, e.g. when light propagates in a region of anomalous diffraction. In such a case formation of bright spatial solitons is possible in lithium niobate which is a medium with self-defocusing photorefractive optical nonlinearity. We study the intensity shapes and their time evolution for extraordinarily polarized probe beams of He - Ne laser at the output face of the crystal for the beam waist size at its input face from 8 to 70 micrometers. At excitation of light in the Bragg directions we observe strong localization of light within only one or two waveguide layers at the lattice output during some stage of the light field evolution. We attribute this effect to formation of bright discrete gap solitons which were earlier observed only in periodic structures of coupled channel optical waveguides","PeriodicalId":301144,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of LFNM 2005. 7th International Conference on Laser and Fiber-Optical Networks Modeling, 2005.","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2005-12-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128488376","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
