The main attention is devoted to phenomena related with 0pi-breather formation as in the strong resonance conditions so as in the presence of small detuning from exact resonance (quasi-resonance case). To compare with existed experimental data the numerical modeling was carried out with adequate duration of input 0pi-pulse and with taking into account of quantum transition transverse relaxation. There is founded that existed in real experiment irreversible relaxation essentially effects on evolution of pulse. The storage lines were fabricated on the basis of the lumped capacitors and the distributed inductances. The first excitation system represents the LC-contour on basis of one storage line. Most FTTH access networks are protected from failure by having redundant network equipments. These are not economical approaches, as the redundant systems are not efficiently utilized by the network. In this paper, the authors propose a protection method where redundant equipments are not required and protection is provided to end user through sharing of bandwidth during the failure time. A protection control unit and an optical switch is employed connecting 4 Optical Line Terminations (OLT) with each one serving only 32 Optical Network Units (ONU). Protection control unit collects information of ONUs served by each OLT and when an OLT fails, it will instruct an active OLT to serve its original ONUs together with the ONUs served by the failed OLT. It also provides information of ONUs served and inform the involved 64 ONUs of their new timeslot allocation. Then, the signal is switched from failed OLTs line to the instructed active OLT. The results show that through sharing of bandwidth, adequate protection is provided without redundant equipment for more than one OLT failure","PeriodicalId":301144,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of LFNM 2005. 7th International Conference on Laser and Fiber-Optical Networks Modeling, 2005.","volume":"65 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2005-12-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131612552","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We show that usage of the optical rigidity allows to obtain better than Standard Quantum Limit (SQL) sensitivity without increasing laser pumping. The gain in sensitivity is inversely proportional to the bandwidth inside which this gain is achieved. Varying the position of signal recycled mirror and optical power, which circulates in arms one can modify the sensitivity dependence on frequency from a single minimum to a double minimum dependence. We show that optical losses degrade sensitivity of measurements with usage of optical rigidity by relatively small value in contrast with other measurements beating SQL which degradation due to losses is considerable. It is also important that \"narrow band\" regimes provides the gain in signal to noise ratio even for signals with wide spectrum and the presence of losses also decreases this gain by relatively small numerical factor","PeriodicalId":301144,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of LFNM 2005. 7th International Conference on Laser and Fiber-Optical Networks Modeling, 2005.","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2005-12-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133700357","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
