A survey of 400 stakeholders from 20 municipalities was conducted to assess perceptions regarding economic, socio-cultural, and ecological capital. Descriptive statistics were used to summarize the data, and chi-square tests and z-tests were employed to analyze differences between demographic groups and correlations between perceived impacts and challenges. The findings revealed a predominantly positive perception of rural tourism's impacts on all three forms of capital, with significant benefits identified in job creation, investment attraction, cultural exchange, and environmental conservation. However, challenges related to infrastructure, business support, environmental protection, and community involvement were also highlighted, with perceptions of economic challenges varying significantly among stakeholder categories. This research contributes valuable insights for the development of sustainable and inclusive rural tourism strategies in the region.","PeriodicalId":300881,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Economics, Finance And Management Studies","volume":"50 19","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-06-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141345743","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To make a good financial decision, a person needs to equip himself or herself with the knowledge and skills necessary to make an informed financial decision, manage debt effectively, plan for the future, and navigate a complex economic landscape. To exercise these complex economic decisions, the brain plays an important role in integrating information, assessing risk and reward, managing emotions, and executing strategies to achieve financial goals. As a result, an emerging field in the area of behavioral finance has emerged, which acts as a multidisciplinary field of study known as neurofinance. Neurofinance is a combination of fields of study like neurology, psychology, and finance and is an important tool for understanding an individual’s behavior towards financial activity done through brain mapping. Thus, this paper constructs the concept of neurofinance in the life of an individual financial decision-maker. The present study demonstrates the available studies constructed by different researchers, authors, and organizations. After reviewing the existing literature, the researcher found a major gap in that there was not a single study conducted to determine the influence of neural behavior on financial decision-making among the private and government sector employees of a selected region. Therefore, it is imperative to know whether there is any association between neurofinance and the individual financial decision-making of the people in North-East India. Accordingly, it is anticipated that this review paper will facilitate forthcoming empirical research to examine individual financial decision-making in detail.","PeriodicalId":300881,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Economics, Finance And Management Studies","volume":"3 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-06-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141349476","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research uses qualitative methods with a case study approach to understand the dynamics and motivations behind consumer participation in MLM. The focus of this research is to explore how attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control influence consumers' intentions and actions in joining and remaining in MLM, how external stimuli and previous experiences influence consumer behavior. The locus of this research involved five different women's communities, namely posyandu administrators, gymnastics community, Beauty Community members, weekly social gathering founders, and weekly regular recitation members, who were selected through purposive snowball sampling. The results show that despite the potential for significant financial gain and personal development, distrust of the business model and challenges in product sales often hinder long-term success. This study contributes to the literature on consumer behavior in the MLM context and provides recommendations for companies to increase transparency and support for distributors.","PeriodicalId":300881,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Economics, Finance And Management Studies","volume":"127 39","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-06-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141351393","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to investigate short-term relationships, this study applies an autoregressive distribution lag (ARDL) model for cointegration for long-term associations. In addition, the error correction model (ECM) is used. Foreign exchange reserves, which are based on annual statistics, are the dependent variable. The four independent variables are interest rates, exchange rates, inflation, and exports. According to the study's findings, exports and exchange rates have a significant positive short- and long-term influence on foreign exchange reserves, whereas interest rates have a negative long-term impact on reserves. Foreign currency reserves have become an increasingly crucial indicator of a country's economic health in the current global economic climate. However, few research have thoroughly examined these traits in both the short and long term.
