Quiceno-Restrepo","doi":"10.22267/RELATEM.1691.20","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.22267/RELATEM.1691.20","url":null,"abstract":"Resumen Este articulo es producto de las reflexiones generadas en el grupo de estudio “Etnomatematica y Educacion Matematica” adscrito al grupo de investigacion “Matematicas, Educacion y Sociedad-MES”, en el marco de la construccion de un estado del arte de las investigaciones realizadas en el campo de la Etnomatematica en la Facultad de Educacion de la Universidad de Antioquia. Estado del arte, que se constituye a partir del dialogo entre nuestros idearios sobre la Etnomatematica y la Educacion Matematica y los caminos recorridos, esto es, las perspectivas epistemologicas, metodologicas y curriculares de las investigaciones analizadas. Dialogos que nos posibilitaron reconocer las tensiones y desafios de ser y hacer investigacion en el campo de la Etnomatematica y la Educacion Matematica, entre ellos se encuentra: la mirada del investigador, escuchar otras formas de ser y hacer desde las comunidades y sistematizar las practicas estudiadas. Para lograrlo, planteamos la necesidad de tejer conversaciones con los documentos, con maestras, maestros y/o investigadores participantes de estos estudios que nos posibilitaron, ademas reconocer y ampliar horizontes teoricos y metodologicos para futuras investigaciones en el campo. Abstract This article is the result of reflections generated in the study group \"Ethnomathematics and Mathematics Education\" in the context to create a state of art research in the field of Ethnomathematics within the Faculty of Education at the University of Antioquia. This state of art that is based on a dialogue between our thoughts about the Ethnomathematics and Mathematics Education and the paths we have had in this field, that is, the epistemological, methodological and curricular approaches in the research analyzed. Dialogues enabled us to recognize tensions and challenges, when doing and developing research in the field of Ethnomathematics and Mathematics Education, among them it is possible to find: the researchers’ view, listen to other ways of being and do from the communities and systematize as well the studied practices. {"title":"Conocimientos [matemáticos] mapuche desde la perspectiva de los educadores tradicionales de la comuna de El Bosque","authors":"P. Como referentes conceptuales utilizamos la idea de Etnomatematica de Ubiratan D’Ambrosio (2008) y las actividades crosculturales de Bishop (1999). Como referentes metodologicos utilizamos la Investigacion Colaborativa (Boavida & Ponte, 2002) y el Metodo-Inductivo-Intercultural (Gasche, 2008). El equipo de co-investigadores esta conformado por algunos miembros del Programa Pueblos Originarios de una comuna de Santiago de Chile, y por miembros de un grupo de investigacion en Etnomatematica de una universidad de Santiago de Chile. Este texto presenta el proyecto de investigacion y algunos resultados parciales referidos a la ubicacion espacial y temporal en la cosmovision mapuche: el sol es el referente central para la ubicacion espacial, y para la ubicacion temporal a traves del dia y a traves de los anos; en tanto la luna es la que indica la ubicacion temporal a traves de ciclos mas grandes (los de la propia luna) al interior de un ano. Los resultados se incorporaran al area educativa del Programa Pueblos Originarios del municipio de El Bosque. Abstract This paper presents a preview of an investigation aimed at identifying and systematizing some mapuche [mathematical] knowledge. The conceptual references are taken from Ethnomathematics defined by D'Ambrosio (2008) and the cross-cultural activities defined by Bishop (1999). The methodological reference is given by the Collaborative Research (Boavida y Ponte, 2002) and some elements of the Inductive Intercultural Method (Gasche, 2008). The team of co-researchers is composed of the some members of Indigenous Peoples Program of a municipality of Santiago, and members of research group about Ethnomathematics of a particular university. This text presents the research project and some partial results in relation to the space-time location according to the mapuche worldview: the sun is the central reference for the space location and for the time location over one day and over the years; whereas the moon shows the time location over larger cycles within one year (such as the moon cycles by themselves). {"title":"Lo infinito y la forma: La Etnomatemática y la obra plástica de Estuardo Maldonado","authors":"M. Cruz-Artieda","doi":"10.22267/RELATEM.1691.19","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.22267/RELATEM.1691.19","url":null,"abstract":"Resumen Este articulo parte de la siguiente afirmacion: las relaciones matematicas y el arte dialogan en la obra plastica del artista ecuatoriano Estuardo Maldonado quien motiva una poetica del vuelo invitando a imaginar nuevos tiempos y nuevos espacios. A partir de la estructura de la “S” Maldonado entra en comunion con los pueblos precolombinos, y que desde esta experiencia muestra modos ludicos de hacer matematicas para poner en duda el calculo racional, propio de la “razon moderna”. La propuesta es hacer un viaje, de la mano de Maldonado, hacia las constelaciones, pero no hacia lo que conocemos “sobre” ellas, sino hacia lo que podemos imaginar “con” ellas, con el fin de motivar el “acto creador” que hace del ser humano un co-creador de mundo en el desarrollo de la tecnica que implica un saber pensar y un saber hacer. La metodologia usada para el desarrollo de esta investigacion es la de observacion, analisis critico y reflexion. Concluimos principalmente que las relaciones matematicas implican, mas alla de aplicar simples formulas, la apertura del infinito campo del pensamiento. Abstract This paper sustains the affirmation: mathematic relations and art dialogue in the work of the Ecuadorian artist Estuardo Maldonado who motivates a poetic flight imagine inviting new times and new spaces .After the “S” structure, Maldonado goes in communion with Pre-Columbian peoples and from that experience he shows the ludic ways of making mathematics so to put into doubt the rational calculi from “modern reason”. The proposal is to make a trip with Maldonado through the constellations, but not through which we already know about them, yet towards what we could imagine “with” them in order to motivate the \"creative act\" that makes the human being a co -creator of the world in the development of the technique involves knowing how to think and know-how . The methodology used to develop this research is the observation, critical analysis and reflection. La motivacion que guia esta investigacion es poner a prueba la viabilidad de un Modelo de ensenanza (Filloy, Rojano & Puig, 2008) que considere los aspectos semioticos y culturales involucrados en esta actividad. En este articulo nos centramos en los resultados correspondientes al analisis de las transformaciones isometricas (Jaime & Gutierrez, 1995) que pueden ser identificadas en los motivos geometricos de estos bordados.Abstract We identified and studied mathematical knowledge involved in embroidery activities from the Hnahnu culture (also known as Otomi), from a semiotic and cultural perspective (Radford, 2006, 2013, 2014). The motivation that leads to this research is to test the viability of a teaching model (Filloy, Rojano & Puig, 2008) which considers the semiotic and cultural issues involved in the embroidery activity.
