The assessment is that access to finance is a significant difficulty for Bulgarian farmers. Bulgarian farmers value their problems with access to finance at least twice as much as those of average European farmers. The main difficulties experienced by Bulgarian farmers and reflected in the demand for finance are determined by their needs for working capital, modernization of agricultural enterprises, and the purchase of agricultural land. The supply of agricultural loans is growing. The state of lending to the agricultural sector in the period after the country's accession to the European Union in 2007 is studied. In recent years, the supply of credit has increased. The main problems in the credit market are the concentration of the banking sector, the high levels of indebtedness, difficulties related to loan collateral. Lending is closely linked to financial support under CAP schemes. The development of financial support in combination with the improvement of the supply of agricultural finance is an important factor for achieving sustainable financing of agriculture in Bulgaria in the coming years. The need to improve the tools for improving the value chain in agriculture is highlighted.","PeriodicalId":30048,"journal":{"name":"Trakia Journal of Sciences","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67459586","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A control group (n = 90), I experimental (n = 90), and II experimental groups (n = 90) quails from meat-producing population WG were formed, respectively fed with basic feed, 5% and 10% replacement of wheat in the feed with extruded baking waste. A slaughter analysis, qualitative and chemical analysis of the meat of male and female representatives of the three experimental groups was performed. The replacement of 5% and 10% of the wheat in the compound feed with extruded bakery waste does not have a negative effect on the slaughter characteristics of the studied quail population. No relationship was observed between the studied physicochemical characteristics of quail meat and the addition of 5% and 10% extruded bakery waste. A similar effect is not observed with regard to the color characteristics of the meat. An exception is the Chroma (C*), where there is a tendency to higher values on the basis of experimental groups. With an increasing proportion of wheat substitution with extruded baking waste, the fat content in breast meat increases (P<0.001). The study leads to the conclusion that the replacement of up to 10% of wheat in the combined feed for quails with extruded bakery waste does not adversely affect the slaughter characteristics, quality, and nutritional value of quail meat.","PeriodicalId":30048,"journal":{"name":"Trakia Journal of Sciences","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67456022","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main clinical manifestation is palpable purpura without thrombocytopenia, manifested by bilateral symmetrical distribution on both lower limbs, abdominal pain, often accompanied by blood in the stools, hematuria with / or without proteinuria. Historically, the disease has been known since 1832. In Bulgaria, although that later Henoch-Schӧnlein purpura (HSP) aroused scientific interest, several publications focused on the pathogenic nature, clinical variations, and potential complications of the disease, as well as options for therapeutic intervention. Modern knowledge about the etiology and pathogenesis of the disease has given new light, respectively a basis for early diagnosis, reduction of complications and recurrences, as well as the avoidance of polypragmatism. It turned out that in HSP there are genetic factors and new aspects, binding until now accepted concept that there are no changes in the coagulation system. The role of factor XIII, as a prognostic indicator of the severity of clinical manifestations and von Willebrand factor (vWF), as a reliable index of the degree of vascular wall damage, has been demonstrated. Plasma imbalance in the Th1 / Th2 ratio was also found and a percentage of NK cells, respectively their immune function, were reduced. This new knowledge about the pathogenic nature of HSP is the basis for a change in the concept of therapeutic behavior, which is aimed at the severity of the clinical course, and not only at the treatment of the disease, which is itself symptomatic.","PeriodicalId":30048,"journal":{"name":"Trakia Journal of Sciences","volume":"143 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67456775","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are many infectious and non-infectious causes of AFP. Poliomyelitis caused by the wild polio virus (the natural circulating strain of polio) is one of the causes of AFP. As a part of the worldwide campaign to eradicate polio, all countries do surveillance for polio by looking for clinical cases of AFP. The purpose of the study is to describe the cases of Acute Flaccid Paralysis, without Paresis Nervi facialis, in the Stara Zagora region for the period 2012-2020. Methods: A retrospective, descriptive analysis was performed on the parameters: diagnosis, seasonality, sex, residence, age, clinical data, and comorbidities, results of follow-up examinations, polio vaccine administration, and timeliness of studies. Results: There were 9 cases of AFP, without Paresis nervi facialis, registered and reported for the Stara Zagora region, for the period 2012 – 2020. The children in 3 years old were more affected- 4 patients. About the coverage with polio vaccine: 7 of the patients had 4 doses, 1- had 6 doses, 1 child had 5 doses, and + 1 zero dose. 100% of children are covered, according to their age, with IPV. Follow-up in 6 of the patients is without residual paresis and complications. Residual paresis was found in 1 of the cases. In 2 patients no control examination was performed due to migration. Conclusion: The correct epidemiological diagnosis is the way to timely and corrects clinical diagnosis. AFP Surveillance is of particular importance as well as fecal sampling up to 48 hours, from the onset of paralysis, and follow-up after the 60th day in children <15 years.","PeriodicalId":30048,"journal":{"name":"Trakia Journal of Sciences","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"67456974","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
