Gogol, V.F. Odoevsky, V.G. Belinsky, A.S. Khomyakov, V.A. Sollogub, N.I. Nadezhdin, M.S. The important methodological significance of this concept is emphasized. The problem of studying and preserving intangible monuments is highlighted, as well as the Russian experience is analyzed. The role of the territorial method in the study and preservation of cultural heritage, which is in demand in foreign and Russian practice, is discussed. The material of the article provides a comparative overview of the historical and modern practice of preserving and developing the Feodorovsky Convent's architectural ensemble, identifies main problems and conflicts, that arise at the intersection of state regulations for the preservation of cultural heritage sites and economic realities in which the monastery is forced to operate as a user. In this regard, the analysis of the rich experience of a comprehensive study on the ethnic history of the Tatar people becomes important. The problem of ethnogenesis of the Tatars is devoted to a whole layer of scientific and popular science literature, primarily  in  domestic  historical  literature.  Historians,  linguists,  ethnologists,  archaeologists have carried out a tremendous research work, that reflects wide palette of views on the ethnic history of the Tatar people. This article is devoted to the study of the ethnonym \"Tatars\" in historical literature in the light of the analysis of historical sources. Various hypotheses of the origin of  the ethnonym \"Tatars\"  are given. One of the most important grounds for the typology of literary journeys is the idea of  relationship between real and fictional subjects and objects included by the writer in his narrative. According to the relationship between reality and fiction, literary journey is divided into four main types: real travel in the real world; composed (invented) journey in the real world; a fictional (invented) journey in a quasi-real world;  a fictionalized journey through a fantasy world. Literary journeys differ in their volume, nature and variety of information contained in them - from travel diaries, which indicate the time and place of stay on the route, the nature of the activity is fixed, a brief description of natural and cultural landscapes, cities and villages is given to literary works, which present author's interpretation of information about real and fictional objects, events, characters that the author or his characters have to deal with during the journey. Among the most important characteristics that can be taken into account when developing a typology of literary travels, a special place is occupied by temporal parameters: the duration of travel, its position in historical time and its relationship with time cycles – natural and social. Literary journeys cover a wide variety of spaces – from outer space to small local territories, which, it would seem, cannot be correlated with our idea of travel. Literary travels can become the basis for identifying new cultural heritage sites. All of these concepts can be used when considering literary travels. The main territory of the monuments is an integral part of the historical and cultural landscapes preserved from antiquity, which have exceptional attractiveness, originality and a certain natural uniqueness. In 2021, petroglyphs of Karelia were included in the UNESCO list, they became the first monument of rock art from Russia.The proposed article is devoted to study of the sacred natural space of Karelian rock carvings. Special emphasis is placed on the manifestations of the organic relationship of ancient rock art panels with the surrounding landscapes and with the features of the rock microrelief itself. In addition, the article examines the role of festivals in the PR of territories, folk traditions and event tourism. In accordance with the documents signed by the two parties, programs of exchange of students, teachers and co-education were implemented in the field of education. On the Russian side, universities in Vladivostok, Blagoveshchensk, Us- suriysk, Komsomolsk-on-Amur train specialists in Chinese language and knowledge of China, and in China, in the cities of Harbin, Heihe, Suifenhe, Jiamusi, Changchun, there are courses on the study of Russian language.
