Electric field strength depends on the voltage distribution along the active part which has been calculated using Electromagnetic Transients Program (EMTP). The signals taken from accelerometers placed near to process end bearing were first combined using simple sensor fusion method and then spectral analysis and time-scale analysis were performed. Fused vibration signals were decomposed into several scales using continuous wavelet transform analysis and selected scales was further investigated to get detailed information relating to bearing damage features. A single Internet protocol (IP) network infrastructure that carries voice signals as well as digital data can be installed, maintained, and managed much more easily, and less expensively, than separate voice and data networks. However, implementing new applications such as voice on an existing network is not an easy task as plug and play. Successful VoIP deployment needs proper planning and understanding of the current network traffic, and of the implementation of the VoIP and its technology. The objective of this dissertation is to investigate and evaluate the capability of a campus network to carry voice traffic on the network. The study is focused on the factors, such as delay, jitter, packet loss, bandwidth availability, etc., that affect the performance of the network and voice quality. Since the network to be tested is not available, a model resembling a real campus network was used and simulated using OPNET simulated under three different traffic loads. Comparisons were made to evaluate the performance and voice quality based on the outcome obtained from the simulations","PeriodicalId":299928,"journal":{"name":"MELECON 2006 - 2006 IEEE Mediterranean Electrotechnical Conference","volume":"56 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2006-05-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124181587","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The new method proposed allows a minimum time for the laboratory (1 day - 8 hours - for every semester subject) thanks to a mandatory time previously devoted by the student at home or at the Study Canter (or in any place with a personal computer) of 30 to 35 hours, and the need to present a design and simulation paperwork that shows his maturity for the laboratory. These developments are mainly based on an adaptive parallel algorithm. The adaptive part consists of the evolution of its main parameter through the time, so it self-adjusts to offer good solutions. The parallel part consists of the implementation of processing units of parallel running. All the coefficients of the transfer function can be independently tuned through the variable current gain of the ECCIIs. Based on the principles upon which the general transfer function structure was constructed, a universal current-mode filter is proposed which implements the lowpass, bandpass and highpass responses simultaneously in high output impedances. This paper focuses on the first two of these requirements. Choosing the type of FACTS devices and deciding the installation location and control of FACTS. We presented a simple algorithm based in heuristic and practical rules to seek the optimal location of two types of FACTS, shunt compensation 'SVC' and series compensation 'TCSC'. The system loadability and loss minimization are applied as a measure of power system performance. Results show the impact of optimal operating points of FACTS (SVC and TCSC) devices under various conditions of power system.
