According to several recent results, it can increase 10 times or more channel capacity than a conventional MIMO system with small number of antennas. However, one critical problem of this system is that it should overcome channel correlations such as spatial correlation and antenna mutual coupling. In order to overcome these problems, a new massive multi-user MIMO (MU-MIMO) with Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) spreading is proposed. The proposed scheme includes additional DFT/IDFT block and distributes symbols into large size MIMO antennas. When some antennas of a massive MIMO are mutually coupled or interferences occur, the corrupted symbols are distributed in different domain by DFT spreading. It is shown with simulation that the proposed scheme obtains significant performance improvement under the given simulation configuration.","PeriodicalId":299228,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Information and Communication Technology Convergence (ICTC)","volume":"187 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122055878","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As routing methods to recover fast from a single network component (link or node) failure, methods using multiple routing tables have been proposed. In the methods, when a component failure occurs, packets which are supposed to pass through the component in the failure-free state are rerouted using a routing table (backup table) which does not use the component for packet forwarding. Thus, it is important to decrease the increased routing cost (for example, the number of increased hops of rerouted packets if every link cost is one) due to the reroute as much as possible. In this paper, we propose a new routing method to decrease the increased routing cost. In the conventional methods, there are many components that do not fail but are not used for packet forwarding in a backup table. In our proposed method, we use such components as much as possible, and consequently we try to decrease the increased routing cost. Numerical examples show the effectiveness of our proposed method.","PeriodicalId":299228,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Information and Communication Technology Convergence (ICTC)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129787648","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The process of data communication between terminals in different small cell is difficult and a little cumbersome. To cope with this inefficiency, we propose to adopt handover based data transfer. If a terminal in a small cell can communicate with a neighbor cell that has target terminal, the source terminal does handover to target small cell and transmits data to small base station in uplink. And in next step, the small base station transmits data to target terminal in downlink. By using proposed method, we can reduce the data congestion of macro cell and attain the growing throughput of entire macro cell.","PeriodicalId":299228,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Information and Communication Technology Convergence (ICTC)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128730985","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the system with MRSs, some of mobile stations (MSs) can act as relay stations (RSs) that forward other MSs data from/to the base station (BS). Compared with the fixed RSs, MRSs have several advantages such as low deployment costs and high flexibility. In this paper, we study an opportunistic subchannel scheduling in orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) cellular networks with MRSs. We formulate a stochastic optimization problem to maximize the sum-rate of the system with MRSs while satisfying the minimum average data rate requirement for each MS, and then develop an optimal opportunistic subchannel scheduling algorithm by solving it. Through simulation results, we show the performances of our algorithm.","PeriodicalId":299228,"journal":{"name":"2014 International Conference on Information and Communication Technology Convergence (ICTC)","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2014-12-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124036118","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It generates revenue from selling gift items, which are used for viewers to give presents to broadcasting jockeys. Despite the projected benefits of SDN, the abstractions toward the remote and centralized control tend to impose excessive control traffic overheads in order for the controller to acquire the global network visibility as well as to extend the legacy network's inaccurate and unreliable management problems into the control plane. To address such complex management problems, efficient and intelligent traffic and resource monitoring is an essential function. In this paper, we propose an intelligent traffic and resource monitoring middle-box called Virtual Infrastructure Management - Software-defined Unified Monitoring Agent (VIM-SUMA). It assists to build a scalable, reliable, and efficient SDN architecture by providing intelligent management abstraction and filtering layer.
