Ananjin","doi":"10.31696/2072-8271-2021-4-4-53-037-054","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.31696/2072-8271-2021-4-4-53-037-054","url":null,"abstract":"The authors made a detailed analysis of the state of the tourism industry as a whole and the quantitative and qualitative char-acteristics of the Russian tourist flow to the countries of Southeast Asia with a focus on Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, etc. A comparative comparison of the situation in the pre-COVID period and during the COVID – 19 pandemic is made, the measures taken by the Russian government to evacuate and help Russians who found themselves abroad, on the one hand, and to prevent the import and spread of coronavirus infection in Russia, on the other, are shown. President of the Fifth Republic, Emmanuel Macron, declared his regional commitment at the Garden Island Fleet Base in Sydney on the 3rd of May 2018. By expanding the scope of its foreign policy, France tries to legitimize its status as an Indo-Pacific power. The COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the intensified rivalry between China and the United States forced Paris to adapt to changing strategic circumstances.
