This research examines the relationship between Nigeria’s money market operations and economic growth from 1998 to 2012. Using Ordinary Least Squares (OLS), the study analyzes a dataset with variables including the logarithm of GDP, exchange rates (EXCH), inflation (INF), interest rates (INT), and logarithm of money supply (LOG(MS)). Results offer insights into this connection. Notably, LOG(MS) significantly influences economic growth (T-statistic = 8.829752, p-value = 0.0000), emphasizing the role of a functional money market. Exchange rates (EXCH), inflation (INF), and interest rates (INT) aren’t significantly linked to growth, implying other factors at play. A robust model with R-squared at 0.971080 explains much GDP variation, validated by F-statistic of 83.94508, p-value = 0.000000. The study highlights a well-managed money market, especially LOG(MS), driving Nigeria’s growth. Policymakers should prioritize effective monetary policy, monitoring money supply, controlling inflation, and aligning market with economic goals.","PeriodicalId":297563,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Science and Business","volume":"65 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124632131","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on the perspectives of social exchange theory, leader-member exchange theory and resource conservation theory, this this quantitative paper takes the empathy ability of managers as an independent variable, the innovative behavior of employees as a dependent variable, and psychological capital and role pressure as intermediary variables. The leader-member exchange is a moderating variable. Quantitative analysis method was used for data collection, and SPSS 26.0 and AMOS 26.0 were used for statistical analysis. Through descriptive statistical analysis, reliability and validity analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis, etc., the conclusion is that the empathy of managers has a direct and positive impact on employee ‘innovative behavior; The empathy of managers plays an intermediary role in promoting employee ‘innovative behavior through psychological capital to some extent. Leadership-member exchange negatively regulates the positive impact of managers’ empathy on role pressure; The relationship between managers empathy and psychological capital has not been significantly regulated by role pressure on employee ‘innovative behavior. According to the research results and conclusions, some feasible suggestions are put forward for enterprises and management practitioners to provide new ideas for modern management practice. Enterprises should pay attention to the cultivation of managers’ empathy ability, thus enhancing managers’ psychological capital and enhancing employees’ willingness to innovate and managers should pay attention to proper emotional expression and try to avoid the pressure of employee ‘role.","PeriodicalId":297563,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Science and Business","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124502692","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The objectives of the research are to explore the impact of service encounter quality on customer loyalty, examine its effect on perceived value, determine the influence of perceived value on customer loyalty, assess the mediating role of perceived value, evaluate the moderating effect of relationship quality, analyze the joint effect of service encounter quality, relationship quality, and perceived value on customer loyalty, and investigate the impact of customer loyalty on word-of-mouth communication. The cross-sectional survey design targeted both local and international tourists and guests in star-rated hotels in Beijing. A pilot study with 100 randomly selected tourists was conducted to minimize sensitization effects. Structured questionnaires were administered to 1000 travelers with a two-week interval. Reliability of the instruments was confirmed using Cronbach's alpha (a≥0.7), and content, convergent, and discriminant validities were established. Hypotheses were tested using Structural Equation Modeling with SPSS and Amos Graphics software. The findings supported the proposed nine hypotheses, highlighting the significant relationship between service encounter quality and customer loyalty. Moreover, the combined effect of service encounter quality, relationship quality, and perceived value had a greater impact on customer loyalty than when considered individually. This suggests that hotel managers and decision-makers should focus on improving all three constructs collectively to enhance customer loyalty. This study contributes to the existing literature on service encounter quality and customer loyalty, providing practical insights for policymakers, marketers, hotel management, and tourists.","PeriodicalId":297563,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Science and Business","volume":"46 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134237452","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Mohammed","doi":"10.58970/ijsb.2203","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.58970/ijsb.2203","url":null,"abstract":"Public transportation has become integral to daily life, as individuals rely on it to commute between their homes, workplaces, and colleges. However, unnecessary waiting times during transport often result in time wastage. Students frequently find themselves in lines, longing to know the whereabouts of buses and their estimated arrival times at the bus stop. To address these issues, this study presents the development of a web-based system that highlights the routes taken by each bus during its journey. Integrated with Google Maps, the system enables students to conveniently access the routes and schedules of buses. The system provides users with information, including real-time updates on the bus's live location, displayed on the map interface. The system offers additional details about the bus driver, such as their names, phone numbers, bus numbers, and start and end times of their shifts. Users can access this information from anywhere, whether they are at home, work, or college, utilizing the web-based application and an internet connection. Also, a QR code scanning feature is available at bus stops, allowing people to quickly access the desired information. By implementing this system, users, particularly students, gain enhanced visibility into bus routes and schedules, enabling better planning and minimizing waiting times. The web-based platform offers convenience and accessibility, empowering users to make informed decisions about their journeys. However, these research paradigms may ignore the active role of innovation subjects in the construction of network relationships across organizational levels, network opportunities, and resource development and utilization. This thesis takes high-tech enterprises as the main body, opens the black box of the impact of R&D intensity on innovation performance, and emphasizes how R&D investment can improve the efficiency of R&D results transformation through the strengthening of network relationship (network centrality, network density). At the same time, it can attract more potential partners to actively seek cooperation, and continuously improve the core competitiveness and management capabilities of the enterprise. Firstly, the variables studied and related theories were sorted out through literature review, and the concept of consistency of innovation tendencies was initially defined. Afterwards, based on the analysis of typical cases, the theoretical model and research hypothesis of the influence of R&D intensity on innovation performance through network relationship under the regulation of consistency of innovation tendencies were proposed, and the mechanism of R&D intensity on innovation performance was deeply excavated.","PeriodicalId":297563,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Science and Business","volume":"226 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121624781","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
