Therefore, I interest to dig deeper into that obstacle experienced by students on language skills, especially on speaking skill, which is about the student‟s barriers in speaking English. This research, an exploratory sequential mixed method research (MMR) design was selected in order to broadly explore students' barriers in speaking English. The observations showed that students‟ main barrier was individual barriers; nervous, lack of vocabulary, feel unable to speak precisely,  grammar error, underestimated in presenting information in order, lack of confidence. The students confirmed that individual barrier was the main barriers they face, and then language barrier, environment also interpersonal barriers followed. Literature is present as a result of the author's reflection on existing phenomena. Literature as a work of fiction with a deeper understanding, is not just an imaginary story or wishful thinking of the author, but a manifestation of the author's creativity in exploring and managing the ideas in his mind. This local wisdom is also owned by the North Sumatran Malay community through their folklore. In this folklore from North Sumatra, there is a legend, namely Putri Hijau with the value of local wisdom that is very strongly attached. In the current landscape of Indonesia, what is meant by \"local\" culture should be more accurately called \"sub-nation\" culture. In the educational philosophy of Ki Hajar Dewantara, Ing Ngarso Sung Tulodo, Ing Madya Mangun Karso, Tut Wuri Handayani, it means that learning is student-centered. However, until now, the learning that takes place in the research-assisted schools is more teacher-centered. This is because the teacher still does not want to take the time to make teaching preparations. The time of the research is carried out in semester 1 of the 2021/2022 academic year starting the first week of October and ending in the fourth week of December. The research was carried out in one of the schools that was supervised by the supervisor, namely the Gema Bukit Barisan Private Junior High School Tanjung Morawa. Indicators of success in this study are (1) increasing the ability of teachers in making teaching aids, (2) increasing student motivation in learning. From the supervision I did to the three teachers at the private SMP, Gema Bukit Barisan, Tanjung Morawa District, they have begun to understand how important it is to make teaching aids in learning activities in the classroom. Previously, they had never made or used teaching aids. However, critical thinking is still rarely used and realized by the students in acquiring English speaking. Stuck in generating ideas is triggered by the low of critical thinking. Sometimes, they know what they want to speak but it cannot be expressed orally. The mistakes anxiety that will be occurred in formulating the sentences is being caused by this problem. To solve those problems, analyzing the students’ critical thinking in acquiring English speaking is conducted on this research. By applying critical thinking, idea blocking will be avoided. This research is conducted by employing the qualitative research method with a thematic analysis approach. After interviewing the informants, The themes of each parameter were found. Brainstorming for interpretation, reluctance for analysis, defense for evaluation, language structure for inference, elaboration for the explanation, and intuition for self-regulation. It is important to find the best teaching strategy to help students learn the material Many different ways to learn English can be used by students, and they need to be aware of this. The purpose of this study was to find out what strategies students use to learn English and to identify the factors that influence their choice of learning method. Participants in this study were students in the third semester of the English semester. The data was collected through questionnaires and interviews. The results show that English seminar students predominantly used learning strategies based on metacognitive, cognitive, and social influential strategies when learning to speak. Almost half of the students used taking notes (51.4%) as their most common strategy, while only (19.6%) of students used translating. On the other hand, the male student's strategy was cooperation (16.8%) and self-assertiveness. This study aims to determine the effect of problem-based learning models on the ability to write drama texts for seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Pagaran.  In carrying out the research, the research sample for class VII-4 was determined, which amounted to 36 people. The method used in this study is the experimental method of one group pre-test and post-test design pre-test. After the normality test and homogeneity test were carried out, it was known that the L count was 0.13 using = 0.05 and N = 36, then the critical value through the Liliefors test obtained L label 0.1456. Thus, L count < L table is 0.13 < 0.1456. This shows that the data before using the problem-based learning model above is normally distributed. From the results of the homogeneity test , it is obtained that F count = 1.06 with dk as the numerator of 36, and from the F distribution table and from the F distribution table for = 0.05, the F table value is 1.78. This type of research is a DDR (Didactical Design Research) research. The didactic design was developed through three stages, namely: first, compiling an initial design based on student barriers that had previously been identified, secondly analyzing metapedadydactics carried out during learning, and thirdly, retrospective analysis carried out by identifying learning obstacles and compiling learning designs. This research was conducted at Mts Al Washliyah Tanjung Morawa class VIII with 35 students. The results of this study indicate that there are several learning obstacles that occur to students, namely errors in the concept of flat side space, errors in multiplication, and also errors in answering questions whose context is different from the example questions given. Determination of the sample of this study is population research because the sample is less than 100. The level of learning motivation of adolescents who experience a broken home is 96.93% in the high category, the level of student learning achievement is 83.57% in the high category, the level of the relationship between adolescent learning motivation which multiplies broken home with student learning achievement is 0.331> 0.284. This shows that there is a relationship between adolescent learning motivation who multiplies broken home and student learning achievement. Based on the discussion and data analysis, it can be concluded that the hypothesis which states \"there is a positive and significant relationship between the relationship between adolescent learning motivation who multiplies broken home and student achievement” can be accepted. This is 40% of students with perfect criteria, as you can see from the daily test results of students with 60% incomplete criteria. These results reveal that the fifth grade students of SD Nurul Falah still have low learning success, especially in Indonesian subjects. Educators play a key role in determining student learning outcomes. Observations show that due to the current learning of the WhatsApp application, some students have poor learning outcomes, do not have mobile phones, some are lagging behind in learning, and others do not understand much. I don't understand the dated material sent by the educator via WhatsApp. This research is a qualitative field research that aims to explain the application of online learning methods in Indonesian class V subjects at Nurul Falah Elementary School in the 2021 academic year. The learning method here uses the whatsapp grub application, the subject of this research is class V students, totaling 20 students. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. the online learning method for Indonesian subjects in class V is successful. This is evidenced by educators who motivate their students and their parents as their study partners. Exit activity in WhatsApp group. B.
