This article classifies flexible formwork systems and their main component the container membrane, also establishes a terminology in Spanish and definition appropriate to this formwork technology. This article systematizes the use of fabric formwork construction procedures by associating formwork systems and typology with the shape of the concrete object to be constructed. 8 types of systems and 16 groups of membranes are established. The processes and group of membranes used in 19 of the most representative flexible formwork systems are shown. The selected systems allow the construction of all kinds of concrete elements, the flexibility of the membrane allows to expand the range of shapes and make the most of the creative and expressive possibilities of concrete. Today, from feminist urbanism, the design of our cities, mobility and safety in their streets, are issues in vogue, attracting the attention of various branches of science, from architecture to sociology or anthropology. From this perspective, a bibliographic review has been carried out, to later apply the theory of the feminist urbanism model to a specific case, the municipality of Alcorcón in Madrid (Spain). For the implementation of this theory, an evaluation rubric has been developed and, through the observation technique, the oldest streets of the San José de Valderas neighborhood of said municipality have been evaluated. In fact, knowing the risk is necessary to mitigate and prevent it. In accordance with the guidelines from heritage institutions, a risk assessment method has been developed for traditional heritage, extrapolating research conducted on the monumental heritage. The aim is to assess the risk in an unpublished sample of the Spanish hydraulic heritage; the sample consists of 22 assets located on the Lóuzara river (Galicia). Risks are evaluated based on the cataloging and characterization of studies previously conducted. The used methodology has allowed identifying the hazards of the hydraulic heritage in the area, assessing its probability and analyzing the vulnerability of each asset based on its state of conservation and its heritage value. The assessed sample presents high risk in more than 85% of the assets, which means that these assets are highly threatened, and they should be urgently intervened to avoid loss of integrity in the short term. The results have showed that the watermills in the sample are very vulnerable due to their state of conservation, caused by lack of maintenance, a direct consequence of an active hazard without prevention for some decades: abandonment. INTRODUCCIÓN L molino hidráulico forma parte de la llamada Arquitectura Tradicional, incorporada recientemente al concepto de patrimonio. La identificación de los riesgos y amenazas es el primer paso para gestionar el control y salvaguardar los bienes históricos. A pesar de sus altos valores, la mayoría de los molinos hidráulicos presentan alta vulnerabilidad, encontrándose sin estudios que identifiquen y evalúen los riesgos que los amenazan. En octubre de 1999, a través de la Carta del Patrimonio Vernáculo Construido, ratificada por la 12a Asamblea General en México de ICOMOS (International Council on Monuments and Sites) se establece la necesidad de ampliar la Carta de Venecia (1931), y establecer principios para el cuidado y protección del Patrimonio Vernáculo. En esta Carta se reconocen los valores del patrimonio tradicional, por expresar la identidad de una comunidad, conformar el paisaje cultural y reflejar la forma de vida y organización social de cada territorio, aportando diversidad y riqueza cultural al mundo. Some of them do not have any renovation, so they have obsolete facilities that, in many cases, do not guarantee the well-being of children. The objective of this research is to propose and validate an assessment instrument designed to evaluate the satisfaction of the basic requirements of safety, habitability, and functionality, of public-school constructions, based on the current legislation. The methodology used was a combination of a general bibliography revision of the regulations applicable to public school buildings and educational spaces; and a fieldwork carried out during November 2019 in two public schools of Early Childhood and Primary Education in the city of Móstoles (Madrid). The evaluation tool was a test through observation techniques, open and informal interviews with the staff of the centre, and documentation consultation in schools and the City Council. After doing the precise adjustments, we obtained an evaluation instrument consisting of 232 variables distributed in 14 inspection areas. Its application makes it possible to know the degree of adequacy of public-school buildings to the basic requirements, for making some decisions about the actions that need to carry out to achieve them. This Directive states that debtors must have access to early warning tools to detect situations of J. I. Sordo Sierpe, M. del Río Merino, Á. Pérez Raposo, V. This research aims to contribute to the development of such early warning tools for a very specific sector: residential and non-residential construction. The methodology has been divided into two phases, each with its own specific objective: (1) to select the predictor variables that can best explain the model (traditional statistical techniques have been used for this purpose); and (2) to select the algorithms that provide the greatest precision for the early warning tool model from among five Random Forest algorithms. The main objective of this is to obtain warning signs sufficiently enough in advance that insolvency situations can be detected. The fundamental aim is to achieve a model without using the profit and loss accounts from the construction companies under investigation. This is so to avoid the lack of objectivity that income, and therefore accounting results, may have in this sector. Accuracy percentages of over 85% were obtained three years before insolvency occurred using only balance sheet ratios. En el caso de sufrir una agresión térmica, sus propiedades mecánicas se ven modificadas, siendo en muchos casos necesaria su reparación para poder seguir utilizando la estructura. Teniendo en cuenta las premisas anteriores, el objetivo de la presente investigación es determinar la viabilidad del refuerzo de estructuras de hormigón con CFRP, después de haber sido sometidas a una agresión térmica. Para la realización del trabajo experimental se fabricaron probetas cilíndricas de 100 mm de diámetro y 200 mm de altura, la mitad de las cuales fueron sometidas a 250ºC. Una vez enfriadas, la mitad de las probetas patrón y la mitad de las probetas sometidas a 250ºC se reforzaron con fibra de carbono unidireccional SikaWrap-230 C, para posteriormente ensayar todas ellas a compresión y determinar la viabilidad del refuerzo. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que, debido a la agresión térmica, el hormigón pierde parte de su capacidad resistente, reduciéndose su resistencia máxima en un 26%. Una vez reforzadas las probetas, su resistencia máxima aumenta un 105% en el caso de probetas patrón y un 89,5% en el caso del hormigón sometido a 250ºC.AbstractConcrete is the most widely used structural material. In the case of suffering a thermal aggression, its mechanical properties are modified, being in many cases necessary to repair in order to be able to continue using the structure. Taking into account the above premises, the aim of the present research is to determine the viability of reinforcement of concrete structures with CFRP, after being subjected to thermal aggression. For the realization of the experimental work, cylindrical specimens of 100 mm in diameter and 200 mm in height were made, half of which were subjected to 250ºC. Once cooled, half of the standard specimens and half of the specimens subjected to 250ºC were reinforced with SikaWrap-230 C unidirectional carbon fiber, in order to subsequently test all of them in compression and determine the viability of the reinforcement. The results obtained show that due to the thermal aggression, the concrete loses part of its resistance capacity, reducing its maximum resistance by 26%. Dicha producción de cemento exige una cantidad significativa de recursos naturales y energía. Además, la producción de una tonelada de cemento Portland emite alrededor de 0,87 toneladas de dióxido de carbono. Este valor se reduciría significativamente al utilizar cementos ternarios elaborados con residuos industriales como escoria granulada de alto horno molida (GGBFS) y cenizas volantes de carbón (CFA). Además, se promueve la economía circular mediante el uso de residuos industriales (GGBFS y CFA) y se aumenta la durabilidad del hormigón en ambientes agresivos. Por el contrario, inducen un retraso en la ganancia de resistencia a la compresión como resultado de la reacción puzolánica. En este trabajo se ensayaron mezclas ternarias de cemento con proporciones GGBFS y CFA (25% y 40%) sobre morteros estándar. En consecuencia, se realizaron medidas de resistencia a la compresión a los 2, 7 y 28 días. Se discutieron las interacciones estadísticas entre GGBFS y CFA en los resultados de resistencia a la compresión de los morteros de cemento Portland ternarios.AbstractGlobal production of Portland cement was reported to be 4.65 billion tons in 2016. Such cement production demands a significant amount of natural resources and energy. Furthermore, the production of one tonne of Portland cement emits about 0.87 tons of carbon dioxide. This value would be reduced significantly by using ternary cements made with industrial wastes such as ground granulated blast-furnace slag (GGBFS) and coal fly ash (CFA). In addition, circular economy is promoted by using industrial wastes (GGBFS and CFA) and the concrete durability in aggressive environments is increased. By contrast, they induce a delay in the compressive strength gain as result of the pozzolanic reaction. In this paper, ternary cement mixes with GGBFS and CFA proportions (25% and 40%) were tested on standard mortars. Accordingly, compressive strength measures at 2, 7 and 28 days was performed. Se estudia la reacción al fuego, la termogravimetría y la conductividad térmica en placas de yeso de (300 × 400 ×15) mm³. La adición de escorias blancas produce en las placas una variación significativa en los valores de conductividad térmica y del coeficiente de transferencia de calor por convección pared-aire, provocado por el aumento de la densidad y una mayor compactación del material y, por lo tanto, un menor aislamiento térmico. Asimismo, la respuesta frente al fuego y al incremento del calor mejora sustancialmente a medida que se incorpora mayor cantidad de escoria blanca, lo que produce una reducción en los valores de pérdida de masa muy relevante. Esto supone una ventaja para el uso en tabiques o protección en áreas industriales o con ambientes térmicos agresivos.AbstractThis study analyzes the thermal behavior of gypsum boards made with the addition of white slag from Horno Cuchara LF, with progressive substitutions of gypsum for slag of 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%. The reaction to fire, thermogravimetry and thermal conductivity in (300 × 400 × 15) mm³ plasterboard are studied. The addition of white slag produces in the plates a significant variation in the values of thermal conductivity and the coefficient of heat transfer by wall-air convection, caused by the increase in density and greater compaction of the material and, therefore, less thermal insulation. Likewise, the response to fire and to the increase in heat improves substantially as more white slag is incorporated, which produces a very relevant reduction in mass loss values. Los resultados resaltantes muestran la disminución gradual de la densidad de mayor granulometría a la menor, así mismo influye de forma inversa el porcentaje de adicción, con respecto a la resistencia a flexión a menor granulometría menor disminución de la resistencia a flexión, donde los mejores resultados obtenidos corresponden al compuesto de árido fino con un porcentaje de adicción al 100%.AbstractThe increase of construction waste derived from activities such as demolition and its recycling potential, allow a comparative analysis of different specimens and three articles in which calcined gypsum waste has been incorporated for the preparation of test tubes and plasterboard between 5% to 100% of aggregate and with sizes between 0.063mm to 4mm, the samples have been cured in conditions of room temperature and a humid chamber to determine the influence that curing conditions on their physical and mechanical characteristics. This territory recognizes water as a fundamental resource for its technological and social development, being also responsible for the evolution of the landscape and its population. Hydraulic architectures, understood as those constructions that are or have been related to water, either for the purpose of distributing, conducting, storing or using it as an industrial driving force, constitute the main objective of this study. From a total of 72 architectures, attention is focused on determining their location, architectural typology and conservation state. On the other hand, the classification of architectures in different study groups: defensive architectures, mills and other architectures, allows to know as main results the incidence that each of the groups has in the state of conservation as well as other specific qualities.
