The Global System for Mobile communication / General Packet Radio Service (GSM) is used through a Long-Term Evolution (4G LTE) antenna and a communication module connected to a Programable Logic Controller (PLC) in order to notify the status of the valves, electric power troubles and the control signals for the correct operation of the irrigation system, so it can be done remotely. This project reflects how it is possible to obtain an efficient automated system with lower operating costs compared to the traditional and more importantly without having to move personnel to the control point for adjusting new conditions.","PeriodicalId":294648,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Applied Electronics (AE)","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121961422","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Arithmetic circuits are one of the influential sectors in today’s end products of electronics, where multipliers are one of the deciding factors of efficiency. Multiplier plays an important role in different applications such as digital signal processing in which it acts as a key hardware block. As time rolls down, the technology exposed the ways for the initiation of many hardware and software implementations of the faster multipliers. One among them is the Montgomery multiplier. The fundamental operation in the Montgomery multiplier is the modular multiplication. It is mainly used in FIR filters, which in-turn has numerous applications such as speech analysis, multi-rate signal processing, adaptive filters, and averaging filters. With the usage of proposed compressor in the conventional design of the multiplier, the number of transistor count has been declined by a significant amount and made the design into an optimal area design. This paper presents a modified Montgomery multiplier design and its implementation in the 5th order FIR filter. The entire design simulation is carried out using CMOS and PTL logic in 45 nm technology. There is an escalation in the result outcomes, and the multiplier has an area efficiency of 65% and a power reduction of about 68% in comparison with conventional design.","PeriodicalId":294648,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Applied Electronics (AE)","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130177189","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This comes to the aid of parents who want to limit the time their children spend in front of the TV, computer or using game consoles. The novelty of the presented solution consists in limiting the access to the energy sources by identified the multimedia equipment coupled to the power supply and not just to monitor the consumption. Also, this solution allows a timetable programmed by the user that is dependent on the connected time of the multimedia equipment, as it will be explained in the paper. In order to benefit from all its functions, the proposed device must be embedded in the wall socket. Thus it cannot be removed, and the monitored consumption is the correct one.","PeriodicalId":294648,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Applied Electronics (AE)","volume":"104 4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133862048","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main attention is dedicated to discovering the mechanism of the power losses in the given FCP structure. The FCP after reduction of the power losses has a flatter efficiency characteristic than the original FCP structure. Thus, the efficiency of the streamlined FCP is a greater than 70 % in a wide range of the output current (from 1.5 mA to 10 mA approx..) when the input voltage is 3 V and the designed output voltage is greater than 30 V.","PeriodicalId":294648,"journal":{"name":"2020 International Conference on Applied Electronics (AE)","volume":"123 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121477313","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The trigger module in ATLAS Forward Physics project selects the events from time of flight detector belonging to the proton bunch. As the time position of the proton bunch is the same within each Large Hadron Collider period, from the clock conditioning circuit (CCC) can be derived the qualification signal for the trigger module input signals. The further processing of these events in trigger module is allowed by the CCC qualification. High speed delay line integrated circuits together with the logic gates and FPGA based controller were used for the realization of the CCC.
