The success factors of knowledge-sharing activities is the quality of communication among doctors. Knowledge sharing media that is currently considered quite effective is the community of practice (CoP). Research methodology used is to conduct studies in the literature on previous research and preliminary survey in several hospitals. The results of this study is a model that explains the factors that influence the effectiveness of sharing of knowledge among physicians using a CoP. This study examines the effect of organizational diversity of a research team on performance. We use the Taiwan National Telecommunication Program as a case study. We construct an integrated model of analytical hierarchy process and data envelopment analysis to calculate the comparative performance score of each NTP research team. We then develop a Tobit regression model to verify the influence of organizational diversity. The results show that the diversity indicators of new recruits and cross-boundary linkages both promote technological efficiency but impede scale efficiency. Acceptance of mobile internet by individuals is critical to the successful implementation of mobile internet systems. Based on Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) and many models in previous studies about mobile internet acceptance, the purpose of this study was to identify the determinants of mobile internet acceptance among university students in Bandung. Data collected from 271 undergraduate students in three private universities in Bandung (Indonesia) was tested against the research model using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach with LISREL 8.7 software. The results show that performance expectancy, social influence, facilitating condition, and perceived flexibility were significant determinants of behavioral intention to use mobile internet. They have been applied for the newsboy-type products like seasonal products, fashion products and holiday products etc. But only one salvage price for the excess inventory is considered in most literatures, one extension that adopts a multi-phases clearance prices policy has approved better profit for the retailer. On the other hand, not until recent years has the retailer's limited initial cash been taken into consideration with the inventory financing. Real world settings, especially the fashion products and holiday products, often involve a combined condition of adopting a multi-phases clearance prices policy and financing the initial purchasing plan. The low adoption of internet in SMEs business due to the incapability of SME in aligning business with IT. This requires the government to help SMEs in adopting e-business effectively by assisting SMEs to align their business and IT. In this paper, we propose a conceptual model that will be further elaborated. We propose five factors of alignment and 5 proposisition related to these factors. Knowledge audit is a key step in managing knowledge. This paper uses Bohn's model of knowledge growth to develop a survey instrument for knowledge audit of a typical construction company. The instrument is applied to conduct knowledge audit of a construction company in the United Arab Emirates. Nonanka's SECI model is then used in conjunction with this model to identify and rationalize knowledge initiatives, and to help the company manage its knowledge assets better. Through trade-off between money and time, shippers can choose different transport modes according to different product attributes. We start with a brief description of key issues in mode choice of freight intermodal transport, and sense of incorporating value of time into the evaluation system. Then it describes a model which includes the effect of value of time, traditionally associated with mode choice.
