Initially, a microstrip-monopole antenna unit is designed and the wide beam and circular polarization are obtained. Besides that, the positions and rotation angle of array element are optimized to realize low SLL and improve the axis ratio (AR) performance. The array is fabricated and measured. According to the analysis of this model, under the action of amplitude modulation heating wave, it will cause the electronic pressure gradient to oscillate according to the modulation frequency to form an oscillating diamagnetic ring current, which in turn excites the ELF radiation source. The applicable scopes of the Nakagami distribution and the Rayleigh distribution are analyzed based on the observations of the amplitude scintillations recorded in the low-latitude of China. It’ concluded that the scintillation amplitude is more likely to obey the Rayleigh distribution when the S4 index is greater than 0.7. By the variation of “m-coefficient”, the Nakagami distribution could represent the Rayleigh distribution. The proposed low-band (LB) antenna operates in the band of 1.71-2.11 GHz (VSWR<1.5). By loading window-shaped slots on strip dipoles, it can minimize scattering and work with high-band (HB) antennas operating in the band of 3.3-3.8 GHz. A dual-band array has been designed to validate the performance of LB antenna. Both simulated and measured results have shown that the LB antenna can preserve radiation patterns of HB elements with short distance to it. A low-cost single probe-fed circular-polarized microstrip antenna was proposed to obtain low profile, light weight and good electrical performances, and the radiation unit covered both Rx and Tx frequency bands. An integration technology, which included the antenna units, the RF circuitry, the cooling system, the networks and secondary beam control system, was introduced to maintain the performance of low profile. And the overall height of 19-element phased array antenna was less than 50mm. The random code is read into Matlab first. Then the corresponding metasurface structure is modelled and simulated to obtain the reflection phase of each metasurface through the API between Matlab and HFSS. Finally, all phases are subtracted in pairs to obtain the phase-difference of any two units. If two units have phase difference range of (180° ± 37°) at the widest continuous frequency band, the two metasurfaces composed of the two units will have the wider 10dB reduction bandwidth than any other simulated unit. The proposed antenna is dipole, and the dielectric layer we used is low-temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC). The active VSWRs of E-plane, D-plane and H-plane are less than 2.25, 2.75 and 2.57 while scanning to 30°, without oversampling the aperture. An antenna array with 64 elements is simulated, and the simulation results show that the proposed antenna array has a scanning angle from -30° to +30° with low gain decrease and good active VSWR. The simulated maximum gain of the antenna array is about 24.6dBi at 35GHz.
