Then, spatial pattern and evolution characteristics of the economic network of Central Plains Economic Zone are analyzed. The result shows: (1) There is significant difference among the node's cyber power in the economic network of Central Plains Economic Zone. Node's degree has a fat-tailed distribution to the right. Zhengzhou is the absolute center of the economic network and Luoyang is the subcenter as well as Handan. (2) According to the spatial structure of the economic network, the whole network can be divided into five communities. (3) The network is in a period of polarization. The hub node's cyber power is increasing such as Zhengzhou and Luoyang, etc. (4) Most hub nodes of the economic network are located in Central Plains City Group, so the development of Central Plains City Group is critical to enhance the connected ability of the economic network.","PeriodicalId":286908,"journal":{"name":"2013 21st International Conference on Geoinformatics","volume":"49 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-06-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129668923","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the instability of UAV platforms usually results in poor image quality, such as big rotation angle, leading to difficulty in creating image mosaics with conventional methods. The SIFT algorithm is nowadays widely applied in image mosaics, but it also has many disadvantages. One of which is that the distance ratio threshold of SIFT is usually defined as a fixed value, which determines the number of matching points. In this paper, an adaptive method of determining distance ratio threshold is proposed. To determine whether a threshold is the optimum value, the ratio of RANSAC optimized points and matching points is used as an evaluating criterion to identify the threshold performance. Experiments show that the adaptive method can improve the matching accuracy while not bringing too much calculational burden. Image mosaic results are also good with the adaptive SIFT method.","PeriodicalId":286908,"journal":{"name":"2013 21st International Conference on Geoinformatics","volume":"133 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-06-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114213304","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Groundwater pollution has a slow process, and it is not easy to find and difficult to control. Once polluted, it takes more than ten years, sometimes even decades to recover. Groundwater pollution has a close relationship with people's health. This paper mainly discusses the range of contaminant transport in different time of groundwater in the MODHMS model. MODHMS is a fully integrated surface/groundwater flow code. The Guishui River is selected as the study area, and the major involved research methods and key technologies are discussed briefly. Analysis shows that the MODHMS is an effective tool to simulate the contaminant transport of groundwater; it provides a more feasible idea to predict and control the groundwater quality.","PeriodicalId":286908,"journal":{"name":"2013 21st International Conference on Geoinformatics","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-06-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121588288","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The MODIS nIR PWV is only available during daytime, which can be retrieved at 1×1km spatial resolution with high accuracy, while the MODIS IR PWV can be obtained during both the day and night time with a lower spatial resolution (5×5km), but is less accurate than the nIR PWV. In this paper, the performances of MODIS water vapor products at IR and nIR bands are evaluated by comparing with ground continuous GPSobservations. Results show that the traditional linear regression analysis is not the best choice to calibrate the MODIS PWV from the IR band. A new calibration model is being developed for the MODIS IR water vapor product using the IGS and radiosonde observations within the MODIS image coverage, and calibrated results are presented and assessed.","PeriodicalId":286908,"journal":{"name":"2013 21st International Conference on Geoinformatics","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-06-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132554934","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This model makes full use of the high accuracy DEM data to extract topographical and hydrological characteristics from the terrain surface. It also assigns these characteristics with scale properties, thus building a stream-network-bounded scale-adaptive DEM system. For each DEM, a triangulated irregular network (TIN) surface is established and flow direction is calculated for each triangular facet in the TIN, building the flow paths from any location in the DEM to the basin outlet, such that a three-dimensional terrain expression is simplified to a one dimension topology flow structure. For each flow path, hydrological variables, such as flow velocity and volume, are computed using classic hydrological formula to support cross-scale simulation of the surface water dynamics.","PeriodicalId":286908,"journal":{"name":"2013 21st International Conference on Geoinformatics","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-06-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132788879","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Image segmentation and boundary extraction are important ways to obtain the position of coastline. And active contour model has become an important tool for image segmentation and boundary extraction. So in this paper we try to use active contour model to extract coastline. However excessive timeconsumption and low degree of automation are two aspects we need to resolve. Aiming to this, we use quadtreemethod to obtain an initial contour, which is close to the coastline, and then evolve to calculate the accurate result. Experiments show that the method is stable, reliable and practical.","PeriodicalId":286908,"journal":{"name":"2013 21st International Conference on Geoinformatics","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-06-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132849904","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is emergent to search for smart methods utilizing remote sensing to learn the states of GGP. This research studied a method for land cover information extraction based on automatic interpretations of high resolution satellite images, which could obtain local GGP information efficiently and timely. The method was used in the land cover change monitoring in Ansai County, where is the priority area for GGP implementation. Land cover change information from 2004 to 2010 was revealed based on SPOT5 and Rapideye high resolution images. The results showed that the farmland reduced overall with a decrease in percentage from 18.12% in 2004 to 13.58% in 2010, an area of 133.91km2 was lost. The proportion of forest increased from 14.60% to 37.95% with area raised by 688.18km2. As with the forest, the grassland showed a trend of growing, its ratio increased to 28.83% from 19.16%, the area raised by 564.47km2. The classification accuracy of SPOT5 is 90.73%, and the Rapideye is 92.19%, the corresponding Kappa coefficients are 0.87 and 0.89, respectively. This study can provide date support and technical reference for GGP implementation's remote sensing monitoring in the study area and other related areas in China.","PeriodicalId":286908,"journal":{"name":"2013 21st International Conference on Geoinformatics","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-06-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127066663","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Among series of LBS users' privacies protection techniques, Spatial-Temporal K-Anonymity has become a prominent method for its easy implementation and extension. While, this method and its variants suffer from a common drawback that they decrease utilization of LBS anonymity datasets because of adopting the common principle that reduces spatial temporal resolution of LBS query. However, improving utilization of LBS anonymity datasets is very important for LBS providers. The reason is that it can benefit for many LBS applications. In this paper, we format basic concepts of mining spatial association rules from LBS anonymity datasets and design the implemented algorithms. In experiments we present the detailed process of mining spatial association rules which includes three phases: generating LBS anonymity datasets by adopting Spatial-Temporal K-Anonymity to GPS trajectories; preprocessing LBS anonymity datasets by spatial joining with geographic background GIS layers to achieve a spatial transaction database; mining spatial association rules from the spatial transaction database by adopting the proposed method. The experimental results show that utilization of the mined spatial association rules can assist intelligent traffic management.","PeriodicalId":286908,"journal":{"name":"2013 21st International Conference on Geoinformatics","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-06-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117188671","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The tourism carbon emissions' research is relatively mature in foreign scholars, but domestic scholars are lagging far behind, which is largely subject to our imperfect tourism statistical system. This paper discusses the tourism CO2 emissions measure based on the statistical coverage of China's tourism, and applied to a relatively well-developed tourism industry in Henan Province, and calculates the CO2 emissions of Henan Province tourism sector, and last analysis the spatial and temporal differences of the Henan Province. Concluded that Henan Province tourism CO2 emissions are rapidly increasing, the intensity of tourism CO2 emissions is gradually declined, the CO2 emissions' disparity of three sectors of tourism is gradually narrowing, the tourism CO2 emissions of city in Henan Province is quietly different, and so on. Lastly we make several recommendations for tourism energy saving that provide a scientific basis for low-tourism's development of Henan Province.","PeriodicalId":286908,"journal":{"name":"2013 21st International Conference on Geoinformatics","volume":"104 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-06-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117184950","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
