Moreover, the paper emphasizes the importance of the correct formation of priorities and values of the state, and skillful national branding. The authors pay a particular attention to the foreign policy of the Republic of Finland in the context of public diplomacy service. Hence, developmental phases of the Finnish public diplomacy were given. In addition, a special attention was paid to the functional features of public authorities with reference to public diplomacy viewed as an important factor in international relations and the national interest protection of Finland. Therefore, the spheres of public diplomacy such as the cultural, educational-scientific, public, or digital diplomacy of Finland are under analysis, too. Additionally, the means and methods of public diplomacy, including those practiced in Ukraine were under particular attention. Thus, a special emphasis was put on the national brandmark and international position of the state. Po I wojnie światowej, a więc w początkowym okresie istnienia Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej powoływano różne formacje celne, które oprócz nakładanych i pobieranych ceł miały także zabezpieczać granice państwa przed przenikaniem wrogich dla niej elementów, w tym uzbrojonych grup dywersyjnych, przerzutów uzbrojenia, broniąc tym samym bezpieczeństwa obywateli i jednocześnie dostarczają do budżetu państwa znaczącego dopływ środków płatniczych. It was examined whether translators unfamiliar with the terminology of tariff law (without experience) make the right choice of equivalents used in both languages, and whether the increase in language competences of students of English philology with a specialization in applied translation affects the quality of translation of specialist texts and compensates for the lack of the above-mentioned experience. As expected, the terminology of the tariff law is a challenge for the translator. Only thanks to the combination of excellent knowledge of the specialized language with excellent knowledge of the source and target language, it was possible to achieve a high degree of equivalence of specialist texts in the field of tariff law. Feshchenko","doi":"10.54515/lcp.2022.1.247-264","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.54515/lcp.2022.1.247-264","url":null,"abstract":"The purpose of the article is to establish and research the features of space state information policy, which requires the following research tasks to be revealed: to determine the place and role of information policy in the structure of state policy and to establish the dependence of the state's information policy on the development of the space industry and to determine the features of the information policy of the USA as a space state. The USA forms its information policy based on knowledge of the use of advanced technologies, including information technologies, in the space industry. Knowing about the threats of their use, the state warns the population by regulating information activities. Therefore, the information policy of a space state is more developed than that of non-space states. An analysis of the relationship between the state of information policy and the state of the US space industry indicates that the development of one area affects the other. Therefore, in order to implement an effective information policy, both areas should be developed. When creating an information policy, it is expedient to create a project for financing the technological base of the state and forming skills among the population regarding the correct use of information. At the same time, it is possible to form laws that will regulate such activities. Thus, planned development will take place. It is important to pay attention to the creation of legislations that will contribute to the protection of the internal and foreign political interests of the population and the state as a whole. The analysis is focused on the occurrence of textual Themes used for signalling organization of information and their functioning in the selected text of CJEU judgement based on the Halliday's (1985) theory of information distribution in a text and the system of logico-semantic relations between clauses later adapted by Trklja (2017). On the basis of the data obtained, it follows that the textual Themes denoting different logico-semantic relation types are distributed in the analysed text of EU Judgement unevenly, whereas the most frequent and prevailing type of relation between clauses is represented by lexical items of enhancement denoting causal-conditional relations.
