In this paper, a new routing scheme based on subarea mobile service is proposed. According to the number of mobile nodes in the network, the area of network is divided into multiple subareas equally. In each subarea, there is one mobile node to relay the data of static nodes. Based on Nearest Neighbor Algorithm, each mobile node plans the moving path in its own subarea. The simulation result shows that under the proposed routing scheme, the throughput of network could be increased, the average delay and delay jitter could be reduced.","PeriodicalId":284323,"journal":{"name":"2009 Joint Conferences on Pervasive Computing (JCPC)","volume":"275 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133132736","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thus, it has been attracting substantial attention that how to choose web services to make a service composition in order to satisfy the business needs in SOA. At present, whether the service composition can meet the Quality-of-Service (QoS) needs of the users or not becomes an important criterion. However, existing research methods overlooked the effect of business process structure on the QoS of service composition. Business process is made by the users according to the business needs and describes the way to call web services, the structure of which affects the calculation of QoS in service composition. This paper proposes an algorithm of QoS oriented web service composition and optimization based on the initial business process structure made by the users. The algorithm optimizes the initial service composition plan repeatedly in dependence on the difference of merging methods for each QoS property in different business process structures. The effect of the algorithm to optimize the service composition was given in a series of experiments.","PeriodicalId":284323,"journal":{"name":"2009 Joint Conferences on Pervasive Computing (JCPC)","volume":"310 2","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"113996125","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

OLCA allows the collaboration for four participants - assessment editor, investigator, examinee and domain expert. After assessments are authorized to an investigator by an assessment editor, the investigator can sells the assessments to examinees with OLCA tokens. The OLCA token allows the examinees to conduct the assessment on line and automatically generates the result with the clinic statistic norm. By passing the OLCA token to domain experts, the experts can comment the assessment result on line and pass the opinion to the examinee. OCLA keeps the examinee privacy among stages of clinic assessment because no central awareness of each participants. Many plants exhibit nonlinear behavior and the use of linear analysis only, may not provide an adequate description of the behavior. In this paper, a new method to solve the nonlinear problem of universal motor, are presented. The behavior of the system is studied by simulation. Differing from existing TRIAC and DC chopper speed control schemes, the new system adds the inner current control to improve dynamic response. Mains power factor, motor speed, and current are analyzed for different load conditions. Experiments are made to verify the effectiveness of the system. The experimental results demonstrate that the developed universal motor control has great potential and practical significance for industrial and home applications, such as Smart Home system , and both simple hardware design and good speed response can be attained.","PeriodicalId":284323,"journal":{"name":"2009 Joint Conferences on Pervasive Computing (JCPC)","volume":"94 4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127288192","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are two factors (i.e. feature selection and parameter determination) of classification problems will mainly discuss in this study. The objectives of feature selection are to reduce number of features and remove irrelevant, noisy and redundant data. Besides, the parameter optimization for training can improve classification performance. Hence, the optimal feature subset and kernel parameter are applied to SVM classifier for reducing the computational time in an acceptable classification accuracy. Furthermore, the classification accuracy is increased. The different classes and types in UCI machine learning repository is used to evaluate the classification accuracy of the proposed CSO+SVM and GA+SVM methods.. It was designed as a cable replacement technology. Given its widespread adoption, especially in mobile devices, new uses are possible today. For instance, one can broadcast messages to nomadic users based on their location. In this paper, we perform an experimental evaluation of whether Bluetooth is indeed a suitable technology for spontaneous networking and broadcasting. The evaluation does not only consist of a review of current hardware and software, but also of a concrete implementation tested in a controlled indoor and in a not-controlled outdoor environment. The results of the experimentation show that, despite the intrinsic limitation of the original design, Bluetooth is indeed suitable for mobile location-based broadcasting.","PeriodicalId":284323,"journal":{"name":"2009 Joint Conferences on Pervasive Computing (JCPC)","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2009-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121126349","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
