Objectives: fermentation of rapeseed cake in the pre-sence of native microbiota; isolation of microorganism isolates; determination of their lipolytic activity. Fermentation of rapeseed cake was carried out at a hydromodulus of 1:9. The resulting suspension was kept in a shaker-incubator, then diluted 100, 1000 and 10000 times in sterile distilled water. From the resulting suspensions, consortia of microorganisms of the native microbiota of rapeseed cake were isolated; 16 isolates of microorganisms were obtained based on the morphology of the colonies. Lipolytic (twinase) activity was determined by the rapid indication method on media of various compositions. During the experiment, a solid nutrient medium was prepared with the following composition, g/l: bacterial peptone – 10; NaCl – 5; CaCl2 – 0.1; agar – 20. The medium was sterilized in an autoclave. Separately, 20 % solutions of Tween-20, -40, -60 and -80 were prepared and sterilized, after which they were mixed with an agar nutr¬ient medium under aseptic conditions and poured into sterile Petri dishes. Crops were sown on media with Tween by injection. Petri dishes with medium without inoculum were taken as a control. It was found that 10 out of 16 isolates exhibit lipolytic activity. The largest diameter of the precipitation zone was observed for group 8 and amounted to (23.2 ± 0.6) mm when incubated in a medium with TW40. The smallest dia¬meter was obtained for group 5 on a medium with TW20 (3.8 ± 0.5) mm. Further work is aimed at identi¬fying microorganisms in order to optimize the process of their cultivation and expand the range of industrial applications.","PeriodicalId":283993,"journal":{"name":"Bulletin of KSAU","volume":" 9","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141679431","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Studies of the biological va-lue of new products were carried out in the laboratories of the department of mobilization of plant resources of the Donetsk Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences, and at the Department of Technology and Organization of Food Production named after A.F. Korshunova. The amino acid composition of the protein of liver pates using a semi-finished product from Jerusalem artichoke tubers and chicory root was studied on an AAA-339M amino acid analyzer. Quantitative determination of tryptophan was carried out separately after alkaline hydrolysis according to Graham. The degree of amino acid balance of pates was determined by comparing their amino acid scores in accordance with FAO/WHO. During the research process, it was found that the amount of essential amino acids is 42–43 % of the total amount, and non-essential amino acids – 57–58 %. This indicates the high biological value of liver pates prepared with the addition of semi-finished products from Jerusalem artichoke and chicory. According to the data obtained, the biological value for liver pates ranges from 68 to 74.8 %, in contrast to pates prepared using classical technology. Liver pates prepared with the addition of a semi-finished product from Jerusalem artichoke tubers and chicory root have a U value of 0.86, which proves the positive effect of the introduced semi-finished product.","PeriodicalId":283993,"journal":{"name":"Bulletin of KSAU","volume":" 8","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141677566","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This protocol includes the analysis of 15 VNTR loci using modified MLVA primers. For in vitro testing of the proposed MLVA scheme, we used previously isolated DNA from strains B. canis RM 6/66, B. suis 1330, B. suis 183-L, B melitensis 1565. MLVA was carried out by PCR followed by separation of amplicons in an agarose gel. Positive amplification was observed for 10 of the 15 VNTR loci, namely Bru6, Bru7, Bru9, Bru16 and Bru18, Bru19, Bru21, Bru30, Bru43 and Bru45. The molecular size of these loci for the reference strains B. canis RM 6/66 and B. suis 1330 was confirmed in silico. MLVA results for strains represented in the GenBank database are also presented. By searching the NCBI resource databases, we obtained the genomic sequences of 49 Brucella strains of the species B. canis, B. suis, B. aborus, and B melitensis. Using bioinformatic analysis, the molecular weight of each of the ten VNTR loci and the number of repeats in it were determined for these strains. Based on the results of the MLVA, a dendrogram was constructed. Based on a phylogenetic ana¬lysis of the sequences of ten variable loci, it was established that the majority of the studied Brucella strains were distributed on the dendrogram in accordance with their taxonomic position. Thus, we concluded that our proposed MLVA protocol has the potential to be used for the differentiation of Brucella strains.","PeriodicalId":283993,"journal":{"name":"Bulletin of KSAU","volume":" 36","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141679014","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In modern landscape design, when creating flower beds from summer beds, not only species are used that are propagated not only by seedlings, but also directly by spring sowing in the ground, due to the high cost of seedlings. In this regard, species of annual ornamental plants that are guaranteed to produce annual abundant seed harvests in specific ecological and geographical conditions are of great interest. As a result of many years of introduction experiments, 57 species from 19 families were identified, in which, regardless of the hydrothermal conditions of the growing seasons, stable annual fruiting was observed. It has been shown that the germination of local reproduction seeds in most species used for ground sowing when creating flower arrangements corresponds to the highest classes 1 and 2 according to GOST 12260-81. The exceptions were Impatiens glandulifera Royle, Convolvulus tricolor L., Godetia grandiflora Lindl., Clarkia pulchella Pursh, Collinsia grandiflora Dougl. ex Lindl., Linum grandiflorum Desf., Eschscholzia californica Cham., in which laboratory seed germination indicators in some years were in the range of 1–3 or 2–3 classes. The morphometric characteristics of seeds for a digital seed library were studied at the Center for Collective Use of the Central Seed Garden of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences using a Carl Zeiss Stereo Discovery V12 stereo¬microscope with a high-resolution digital camera AxioCam MRc-5 (AxioVision 4.8 software). Replenishment of the digital seed library used in practical classes at the Novosibirsk State Agrarian University expands the volume of material mastered by students, including statistical processing of morphometric parameters of seeds of annual ornamental plants.","PeriodicalId":283993,"journal":{"name":"Bulletin of KSAU","volume":"18 s1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141837624","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Objectives: to study the species composition of pathogens of helminth-zooanthroponoses and helminths that affect the quality of fish products; the degree of invasion of fish (extensiveness of invasion – EI, intensity of invasion – AI) and development dynamics for monitoring and developing a plan for veterinary and sanitary examination of veterinary service institutions. During the period from 1989 to 2022, 6654 individuals of 11 species of commercial fish were studied using the method of incomplete helminthological dissection: pink salmon (Oncorhynchus gorbuscha), chum salmon (Oncorhynchus keta), coho salmon (Oncorhynchus kisutch), herring (Clupea pallasii), catfish smelt (Osmerus mordax dentex), smallmouth smelt (Hypomesus olidus), halibut (Hippoglossus hippoglossus stenolepis), blue halibut ( Reinhardtius hippoglossoides matsuurae), navaga (Eleginus gracilis), spiny flounder (Acanthopsetta nadeshnyi), pollock (Theragra chalcogramma). 6 types of helminths of epidemiological significance were identified: Anisakis simplex, Pseudoterranova decipiens, Diphyllobothrium luxi, Diphyllobothrium dendriticum, Diphyllobothrium sobolevi, Corynosoma strumosum and 2 types of helminths not dangerous to human health: Pyramicocephalus phocarum, Nybelinia surminicola. The infestation of Anisakis simplex and Pseudoterranova decipiens for all years of fishing reaches high values: for chum salmon 100.0 %, coho salmon 98.9 %, pink salmon 71.3 %, Pacific herring 91.2 %, halibut 67.4 %. Navaga is infected with Pyramicocephalus phocarum: EI – 55.2 %, AI on average 6.6 with localization in the body cavity and on internal organs without capsules. Catfish smelt is infested with Diphyllobothrium sobolevi by 61.8 %, AI on average 4.5; localization in the body cavity and on internal organs in an encapsulated state. The greatest epidemiological significance is observed in chum salmon, pink salmon, coho salmon, spiny flounder, catfish smelt and smallmouth smelt, since the helminths of zooanthroponoses: Anisakis simplex, Pseudoterranova decipiens, Diphyllobothrium luxi, Diphyllobothrium dendriticum were located in the thickness of the muscles of the studied fish species.","PeriodicalId":283993,"journal":{"name":"Bulletin of KSAU","volume":" 16","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141678054","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Being a representative of the Far Eastern tall grass, this species forms sustainable long-term plantations in cultivation even outside its primary range. In a number of regions of Russia, under conditions of sufficient moisture, it can be a source of valuable medicinal raw materials with a high content of flavonoids for the pharmaceutical industry. Large monodominant thickets of Polygonum weyrichii fit well into the landscaping of intra-block areas of settlements. The species is highly stable in culture due to its exceptional longevity (decades) and the ability to support self-renewal of the population by seed and vegetative methods. The use of Polygonum weyrichii in phytoremediation in the creation of nature-like technologies for cleaning polluted water bodies is shown. A new direction for using Polygonum weyrichii is cultivation for carbon farming on carbon farms. The resource potential of the Polygonum weyrichii is not limited to its traditional use as a fodder silage crop, but allows for the provision of a variety of environmental services (production, environmental, etc.), provided that the public is informed about the possible consequences of “escaping” from the crop and invading natural ecosystems. Most often, the Polygonum weyrichii “escapes” from the collections of botanical gardens and cultivation sites, which are currently private garden plots. It is not yet among the invasive species in Russia, but in some regions it is already creating serious problems, forming monodominant vast thickets on fallow lands and penetrating into natural plant communities.","PeriodicalId":283993,"journal":{"name":"Bulletin of KSAU","volume":" 46","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141678088","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It was established that the yield of forage crops was largely determined by the amount of precipitation and productive moisture at the beginning of plant development, and the distribution of precipitation over the gro-wing season. Over 3 years of research, on average, the highest yield of green mass among legumes was provided by vetch (14.8 t/ha), and among perennial grasses – sainfoin (13.9 t/ha). The maximum dry matter collection in annual crops was noted for the pea variant (6.39 t/ha). In terms of feed units and metabolic energy, it surpasses other vetch varieties (8.42 thousand and 123.46 GJ/ha). Among perennial grasses, the best indicators on average over the years of research in all productivity parameters were recorded in sainfoin: dry matter yield – 8.34 t/ha, feed units – 31.57 thousand, metabolic energy – 136.99 GJ/ha. It was revealed that the content of agronomically valuable fractions (AVF) under perennial grasses is greater than under annual grasses. The largest amount of AVF is contained in the alfalfa and sainfoin varieties. The coefficient of structure on the top layer of perennial grasses ranges from 2.0 to 2.47, which is 2 times higher than that of annual leguminous crops. The structure of the dark chestnut soil under perennial grasses is assessed as excellent. Research results have established that the cultivation of perennial grasses contributes to better soil structuring compared to annual leguminous crops.","PeriodicalId":283993,"journal":{"name":"Bulletin of KSAU","volume":" 11","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-07-04","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"141679767","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
