Robot, “The sleep of loneliness”, which appears in Chișinau in 1936. The stake of this volume is the poetic experiment, aesthetically engaged. The young poet is attracted by the ideology of “The Flycatcher” which is aimed at the field of pure aesthetics and stimulated new literary energies. Lyricism and maintained by the nutrients of modernity, experimenting with various writing techniques. “The sleep of loneliness” opens with mystical, hermetic poems, which feed on the vortices of the vortex, and ends with imagistic poems. It is a volume in which the poet breaks away from the percussive obsessions of “Earthly Apocalypse” and probes the unconventional aesthetic conversions. Insufficiently crystallized aesthetically and in “The sleep of Loneliness”, the lyricism of Al. Robot is looking for shapes and formulas. The poet goes through the period of the feverish searches of the models, in order to rally the synchronization, engaging in unique literary experiments. We find that, by the appearance of this volume, Al. Robot is part of the intellectual direction of modernism, which brought a new breath to poetry.","PeriodicalId":283642,"journal":{"name":"Dialogica. {"title":"Under the sign of pandemic","authors":"Andreea Scrumeda","doi":"10.59295/dia.2023.1.12","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.59295/dia.2023.1.12","url":null,"abstract":"The present paper aims to chronologically and comparatively present the evolution of human behavior, from the first recorded pandemics to the Covid-19 pandemic. We are interested in the attribution of these infectious disease’s origin, as well as in the literary and artistic manifestations that represented these disasters. While in the Antiquity the pagan philosopher Porphyry of Tire lamented the rise of Christianity, blaming it for the appearance of the plague, in Middle Ages Europe, Christians looked for scapegoats among the religious minorities. Epidemics and pandemics also proved to be an irresistible subject for many writers; in visual arts, the Great Plague of the Middle Ages inspired the iconographic theme Danse Macabre. Today, movies deal with this topic from an apocalyptic perspective, thus marking a return to the ancient conceptions of plagues. We also find that, from the Middle Ages to the present day, the popular reactions are broadly the same, including negationism, misinformation and mistrust of authorities. Apart from questionable cures, the tendency to reject sanitary measures has also been survived, especially since social media currently provide a huge amount of right and of false information, hard to classify.","PeriodicalId":283642,"journal":{"name":"Dialogica. {"title":"The local school of jewelry: unknown and unjustly lost names","authors":"Liliana Condraticova","doi":"10.59295/dia.2023.1.07","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.59295/dia.2023.1.07","url":null,"abstract":"Associated in workshops or as freelancers, working mainly in the city of Chișinău as one of the most important socio-economic and cultural centers of the country, jewelers and craftsmen have left an indisputable legacy, conceived in many articles of historical, artistic and memorial value. The 1972–1991 years were marked by the founding of the Jewellery Workshop of the Plastic Fund of the UNAP (1972), which allowed the concentration and unification of the efforts of the few artists who artistically processed metals. The jewelers worked in the Jewellery Workshop, promoting and continuing the traditions of the local school, they created decorative articles and author jewelry. They created professional articles, from an artistic and technological point of view, and participated at exhibitions. The aim of this article is to bring into prominence the name of a few artists from MSSR, who worked at the Jewellery Workshop since its foundation and had an essential impact in the assertion of the art of metals in the MSSR. The local school included craftsmen, who studied at artistic educational institutions from MSSR, as well as those self-taught in the metal art field. Names like Ovidiu Alexeenco, Valeriu Vinitchi, Vasile Shocin hold a special place alongside such artists, as Oleg Barascov, Gheorghe Cojusnean, Vladimir Kalasnikov, Semion Odainic, Natalia Vavilina, Victor Rotari etc., who developed together the local school in the field of metal art.","PeriodicalId":283642,"journal":{"name":"Dialogica. The plastic artist fell in love with Chișinău. This fact is attested by the numerous works dedicated to the city. In the custody of the Fund of the National Art Museum of Moldova are several urban landscape paintings by Yurii Shibaev: „Chișinău under construction. Râșcani Sector”, „Renewed Chișinău. Circus under construction”, „Râşcanii renewed”, „After the rain”, „The New Chișinău” etc. In his paintings we can see the representations of the old city, but also of the areas with modern elements, which are in constant evolution. The artist wanted to present the beauty of the city with lots of vegetation, populated with people, crowded with public transport: everything being in constant motion. The artist of realistic training tends to work with large decorative spots that are meant to give expressiveness to the painting. The predominant colors in his creation are white, green and gray. Thus, the artist resorts to a limited range of colors, using colored accents in the representation of people and cars. In the paintings „Old Chișinău”, „Chișinău under construction. Râşcani Sector”, „Chișinău is being built”, „The New Chișinău”, „After the rain”, etc. Yurii Shibaev confirms the image of Chișinău as a „white stone city”. Residential, ecclesiastical and cultural buildings are elevated above the rich city with abundant vegetation.","PeriodicalId":283642,"journal":{"name":"Dialogica.
