The RC feedback network and source inductive degeneration topology have been used to achieve the desired RF characteristics like bandwidth, return loss, gain and gain flatness for this four-stage LNA. The measured results show noise figure less than 2.5 dB and gain of 28 dB over the range of 3–15 GHz, which agrees well with the simulation results. Excellent input/output return losses better than 15 dB in the 4–12 GHz are obtained. Densification of different kind of BSs is one of the most important features of fifth generation (5G) cellular networks. Evaluation of the system performance in heterogeneous cellular networks is a crucial topic. In the literature, many papers study the performance analysis over Rayleigh fading to provide theoretical expressions such as the coverage probability, mean throughput and average rate. However, performance analysis for general fading is very limited. In this paper, the coverage probability over general fading is discussed and the derivation of downlink coverage probability over Nakagami-m fading is explained. To validate our analysis, we perform Monte Carlo simulations and the results closely match. In this model, computation is performed at the edge of the network instead of sending vast amounts of data to the cloud. Thus, fog computing provides low latency, location awareness to end users, and improves quality-of-services (QoS). One key feature in this model is the designing of payment plan from network operator (NO) to fog nodes (FN) for the rental of their computing resources, such as computation capacity, spectrum, and transmission power. In this paper, we investigate the problem of how to design the efficient payment plan to maximize the NO's revenue while maintaining FN's incentive to cooperate through the moral hazard model in contract theory. We propose a multi-dimensional contract which considers the FNs' characteristics such as location, computation capacity, storage, transmission bandwidth, and etc. First, a contract which pays the FNs by evaluating the resources they have provided from multiple aspects is proposed. Then, the utility maximization problem of the NO is formulated. In this network, the secondary transmitter adopts TAS scheme to choose the strongest antenna to transmit signals, while MRC scheme is used by secondary receiver and eavesdropper to strengthen their received signals. Firstly, we investigate the secrecy outage probability (SOP) of dual-hop RaF cognitive MIMO wiretap networks. To gain more observation on the influence of the proposed TAS/MRC scheme and outdated CSI, we further present tractable asymptotic SOP at high SNR regimes. From the analysis, we derive that outdated CSI will affect SOP by decreaseing the secrecy coding gain of TAS/MRC scheme. To fully realize the potential of MMW communication, we have to overcome some difficulties, such as phase noise (PHN). The immature CMOS fabrication incurs a relatively large PHN to MMW systems. Without suppression, the PHN can severely degrade the system performance. In this paper, we present a novel PHN suppression scheme for MMW single carrier frequency domain equalization (SC-FDE) systems. The key to suppress PHN is to estimate it as accurately as possible. Capitalizing on the statistical sparsity of MMW PHN in the basis formed by the eigenvectors of PHN autocorrelation matrix, we formulate the PHN estimation into the framework of compressive sensing (CS). In particular, we modify the sparse Bayesian leaning (SBL) strategy to estimate the involved PHN using the data decision available. The obtained PHN estimate is used to compensate for the PHN effect, followed by FDE operation and a re-demodulation of data symbols. This process iterates several times such that we can significantly improve the BER performance. Secrecy outage probabilities in accurate and asymptotic forms and the probabilities of nonzero secrecy capacity are derived respectively to evaluate our proposed system secrecy performance, when the conventional relay selection is employed to select the best relay. There exists direct links, and all channels we considered are Rayleigh fading channels. In the high main-to-eavesdropper ratio environment, we can realize that the system diversity order equals to K + 1 from asymptotic secrecy outage probabilities, where K represents the quantity of relays. These peculiar features make routing in underwater acoustic sensor networks (UASNs) quite different from that in terrestrial wireless networks. In this case, it is impossible to design just one or two routing protocols that can cost-effectively support all underwater application scenarios, and an optimal design must take into account each different favorable feature available in different scenarios to maximize routing performance, especially the characteristics of various network topologies. The channels between the terminals are considered binary input additive white Gaussian noise (BIAWGN) channels, while decode-and-forward (DF) relaying is considered at the relay. We present low complexity density evolution analysis for the SC-RA code based relay code, which leads to simple code design procedure. For a wide range of design rates, we show that SC-RA code based relay code asymptotically approaches the capacity of a given relay channel. We observe that this relay code outperforms existing channel codes optimized for half-duplex DF relaying protocol. In our approach, a set of alternative designs that represent the best possible trade-offs between conflicting objectives (here, the maximum reflection level within a frequency band of interest and the circuit size) is identified by directly exploring the Pareto front. More specifically, the subsequent Pareto-optimal design is obtained by local optimization starting from the previously found solution. Low cost of the design optimization process is ensured by exploiting cheap adjoint sensitivities. The proposed technique is demonstrated using an example of three-section transformer matching the 50 Ohm source to the 130 Ohm load and working in 3.1-to-10.6 GHz range.
