The antenna is designed using transmission line method; this antenna is suitable to be embedded inside the casing of the laptop computer. Three operating bands covering 2.3-2.4, and 2.5-2.69 GHz for the LTE and 5.725-5.852 GHz for WLAN systems are achieved with good radiation efficiencies. The results are simulated using TLM by advanced design system and compared with two methods: moment's method using AGILENT and finite integration technique using CST MW Studio.","PeriodicalId":281793,"journal":{"name":"2015 3rd International Conference on Control, Engineering & Information Technology (CEIT)","volume":"54 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115832591","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The improved algorithm decreases number of the desired sensors from five into three, where it just needs two current sensors for measuring the AC currents, and another voltage sensor for capacitor voltage detection. The inductor current will be estimated according to the previous optimized state and the capacitor voltage value during this state. Moreover, the developed algorithm decreases the number of the calculations for the inductor current prediction. Thus, the total cost of the control system decreases; furthermore, the practical implementation for the algorithm is improved where short running time. The developed algorithm will be investigated with the theoretical analysis in addition to the simulation validation based on MATLAB/SIMULINK as environmental software.","PeriodicalId":281793,"journal":{"name":"2015 3rd International Conference on Control, Engineering & Information Technology (CEIT)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122005786","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Since buck converters have high nonlinearity and uncertainty, an indirect adaptive control is developed based on recently developed synergetic control methodology. Fuzzy systems are used in an adaptive scheme to approximate the system using a nonlinear model while synergetic control guarantees robustness and the use of a chatter free continuous control law which makes the controller easy to implement. In addition the controller parameters are optimized using GA approach. Simulation of severe operating conditions of a power system is conducted to validate the effectiveness of the proposed approach while stability is guaranteed via Lyapunov synthesis.","PeriodicalId":281793,"journal":{"name":"2015 3rd International Conference on Control, Engineering & Information Technology (CEIT)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130582121","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper a new integrated approach is developed to improve the method of Service Failure Mode Effects and Critically Analysis (FMEA) from an economic perspective. The contribution of this paper is that it combines a fuzzy cost-based FMEA, GRA (grey relational analysis) and Priority-Cost FMEA for better prioritization of the service failures by considering cost as an important issue and using the profitability theory in a way that consider the corrective action cost. In addition, the proposed approach allows accounting for opinions of several experts for estimating the cost of each service failure. A numerical example illustrates the application of this method to a service process proposed in the literature. The paper concludes with a conclusion, limitations and recommendations for future studies.","PeriodicalId":281793,"journal":{"name":"2015 3rd International Conference on Control, Engineering & Information Technology (CEIT)","volume":"57 9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131538658","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

From one hand, it consists of an image embedded in another one using a Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) to guarantee the process of watermarking. Then, the resultant watermarked image is encrypted using the master 4D discrete-time hyperchaotic Henon maps. From another hand, the synchronization between the encryption and decryption process is performed using a dead beat observer design based on Borne and Gentina practical criterion for stability study and on Benrejeb arrow form matrix for system description. Finally, a watermarking extraction process is done to recover the original image. Numerical simulations are carried out to show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.","PeriodicalId":281793,"journal":{"name":"2015 3rd International Conference on Control, Engineering & Information Technology (CEIT)","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-09-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117050938","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We propose new control strategies based on fuzzy sliding mode in order to control the power of the wind turbine transmitted to the grid and to make the wind turbine adaptable to different constraints. The use of this method provides very satisfactory performance for the DFIG control, and the chattering effect is also reduced by the fuzzy mode. The developed strategy aims to explore the maximum of the available DC bus that supplies the inverter with a minimum level of THD, and uses the minimum number of logic elements LEs available on the FPGA. This technique is verified through simulation results.
