Increased accuracy of power loading of structures is achieved by evaluation of gain of control channel of electrohydraulic test bench during fatigue testing, where the gain can vary within wide limits depending on properties of test object and characteristics of electrohydraulic drive. The least squares method with a sliding window is used as the method for identifying this coefficient. Then the obtained gain estimate is applied to adapt the parameters of the electrical drive controller of the bench. Proposed approach makes it possible to increase accuracy of implementation of the desired profile of power loading of structures, as well as to eliminate possibility of occurrence of high-frequency oscillations in control loop. The results of the experimental test of the proposed approach on a single-channel test bench are given too.","PeriodicalId":281783,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 22nd International Conference of Young Professionals in Electron Devices and Materials (EDM)","volume":"146 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132601984","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The AC voltage regulators are necessary to regulate and stabilize the output voltage in the full regulation range. Frequency converters allow converting the frequency of the output signal and also to regulate the AC signal amplitude. Electronic transformers allow coordinating the circuit with the load allow obtaining the required voltage level. In this article will be considered the known and proposed topologies of AC voltage regulators and will be offered a comparison with the known models of devices. Regulators will be classified based on the presence of a transformer. The main indicator by which the devices will be compared is quality indicators. The comparison will be conducted among the devices of the end of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st.","PeriodicalId":281783,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 22nd International Conference of Young Professionals in Electron Devices and Materials (EDM)","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133907924","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The technique is generalized here to the case of the presence of some equivalent non-sinusoidal EMF and the parameters R and L, which are reflecting its nonideal nature, and the compensating capacitance C. This approach is based on the method of the algebraization of the differential equations. The technique makes it possible not only to predict the quality of the supplying AC power under certain known analytical descriptions or measured waveforms of the nonlinear loads' currents and the EMF, but also to assess their individual relative share contributions in the overall distortion of power quality. The offered method and considered equations may be useful for researchers and practical engineers dealing with AC power network both at the design and monitoring stages.","PeriodicalId":281783,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 22nd International Conference of Young Professionals in Electron Devices and Materials (EDM)","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131683335","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The possibilities of computer graphics and visualization make it possible to present such spaces in a way that makes it easy to explore their properties even for people who are not acquainted with the mathematics of non-Euclidean geometry. Not only that, it is also possible to add some interactivity and allow users to explore such spaces freely. In this paper, we present a system for visualizing three-dimensional spherical and elliptic spaces, which are two examples of non-Euclidean spaces. First, we describe the theoretical basis and some algorithms the system is built upon: the group-theoretic way of exploring non-Euclidean spaces and defining transformations of objects lying in them, an algorithm for implementing camera controls similar to those seen in first-person video games, and an algorithm for implementing the distance fog effect in such spaces. Then, we describe the system created based on these approaches and its capabilities.","PeriodicalId":281783,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 22nd International Conference of Young Professionals in Electron Devices and Materials (EDM)","volume":"128 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131985954","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

GaAs-based diodes can effectively sharpen pulse front with a lower probability of thermal breakdown than silicon diodes. The construction of a nonlinear line for the formation of radio pulses is briefly described. It is shown that the combined use of a nonlinear line with GaAs-based diodes is an effective tool for the formation of powerful radio pulses in the microwave range. In the experiment, a manufactured helical 5-turn antenna is used for radiation. The antenna is capable of operating at high voltages of the generated pulses. For the manufacture of the antenna, a high electrical strength potting compound was used instead of traditional vacuum oil. The experimental set presented in the work is based on the SINUS-160 device operating with a Tesla generator. Using a half-wave vibrator and an oscilloscope, the radiation level from the set is measured and the effective potential of the system is calculated.","PeriodicalId":281783,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 22nd International Conference of Young Professionals in Electron Devices and Materials (EDM)","volume":"135 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115092551","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The retina produces an appropriate response which is depending on the visual stimulation conditions. To ensure uniform flash intensity throughout the patient's field of view, the patient's chin is placed on a special ganzfeld platform. This installation realizes the uniformity of light stimulation distribution. During the examination, the patient looks at one point indicated in the ganzfeld. Flash intensity replacements are routinely regulated by the ISCEV standard, however, this study used standard EP-1000 (Tomey GmbH) protocols. Filtering is a key part of signal analysis. In accordance with the requirements of the standard, the filtration of (ERG) signals should be implemented using posteriori methods. The source of this recommendation is the complex waveform and the presence of frequency components of different private ranges. Thus, this study described the selection of the optimal filtering method for the Maximum 2.0 ERG Response signal based on the posteriori method. The study used the original biomedical signals of adult patients previously published on the IEEE DataPort.","PeriodicalId":281783,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 22nd International Conference of Young Professionals in Electron Devices and Materials (EDM)","volume":"83 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115765962","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
