The use of resonators can improve electrical properties of the devices based on modal filtering. The authors performed simulations in the time and frequency domains taking into account the losses. The geometrical parameters of the quarter-wave resonators were optimized using a genetic algorithm. The results show that the presence of the quarter-wave resonators improves interference suppression. Thus, the attenuation of more than 60 dB in a wide frequency range was achieved for the two-conductor modal filter. For the four-layer reflection-symmetric modal filter, the attenuation of 25 dB was obtained. The results of the time domain analysis demonstrate that the proposed configurations suppress ultra-wideband electromagnetic interference better than the configurations without resonators.","PeriodicalId":281783,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 22nd International Conference of Young Professionals in Electron Devices and Materials (EDM)","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133562206","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

According to the requirements, the device contains two sections of the SSL, open for external electromagnetic influences, and a section with a ferrite bias substrate, which is magnetized in the longitudinal direction by applying a current to the solenoid. A combination of a priori reciprocal elements in the form of open SSL sections and a nonreciprocal element closed from the influence of electromagnetic waves has been obtained. The scattering parameters of the device are investigated in the frequency range up to 8 GHz. The dependence of the coefficients of the scattering matrix on the frequency and magnetized current in the solenoid enclosing the ferrite substrate is established. Sub-bands of frequencies and modes of use are indicated in which nonreciprocal properties are expressed to a certain extent.","PeriodicalId":281783,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 22nd International Conference of Young Professionals in Electron Devices and Materials (EDM)","volume":"155 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124339595","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Permutations from this group can be used in an automorphism successive cancellation (SC) decoding algorithm providing a lower latency compared to that of successive cancellation list decoding. In this paper, we demonstrate that any permutation from the automorphism group of Reed-Muller codes is suitable for permutation-based SC decoding of polar codes. Specifically, a code obtained by a permutation that is not in the automorphism group of the code, but is in the automorphism group of Reed-Muller codes, is shown to be a polar subcode. Simulations results show that these additional permutations allow improving performance of the automorphism SC decoding algorithm limited to the permutations from the automorphism group of the code.","PeriodicalId":281783,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 22nd International Conference of Young Professionals in Electron Devices and Materials (EDM)","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128749335","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The TCAD Sentaurus program package was used to perform, on the basis of obtained experimental data, calculation of the relative change in the resistance of mesa resistors of different widths as dependent on the power per unit area being released in the resistors. Analysis of the data obtained shows that the main contribution to conductivity was made by traps with shallow states at the silicon - silicon dioxide interface and at poly-Si grain boundaries. It is shown that the presence of these states leads to a non-monotonic dependence of the relative change in resistance on the heating power. Additional allowance for the charge carriers released from traps upon heating makes it possible to adequately describe the observed experimental dependences.","PeriodicalId":281783,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 22nd International Conference of Young Professionals in Electron Devices and Materials (EDM)","volume":"45 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129575809","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on the previously obtained results of using convolutional neural networks for the extraction of the voice part, the concept of a convolutional neural network was developed, designed to correct a distorted audio signal. This article presents the initial concept of this neural network architecture, which unfortunately gave unsatisfactory results. Nevertheless, based on the concept of this network, several new neural network architectures have been developed, specifically focused on the restoration of distorted audio signal, but at the same time, the shortcomings of the basic architecture were taken into account. The article contains descriptions of all these architectures and the results of their application to restore the drummer part in a musical composition from which it was deleted. We also studied the effect of increasing the number of neural networks on the efficiency of signal recovery.","PeriodicalId":281783,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 22nd International Conference of Young Professionals in Electron Devices and Materials (EDM)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130586792","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, in a need of quick blood oxygen diagnostic assessment, a low-cost pulse oximeter needs to operate at a wide variety of patients using the same fingertip sensor or, at least, using a sensor of identical model and manufacturer. The average intensity for both optical and near-infrared light transmitted through the fingertip can be higher or lower depending on the volume of the finger, skin colour, tissue composition, and thus varies for people of different ages, gender, morphology, or national origin. Therefore, the device must correctly calculate the pulse oximetry parameters for signals with different tissue transmittances. Also, for the different age groups, different types of fingertip sensors are usually used (e.q. adhesive, clips, silicone mittens, etc.), the difference in fastening of the sensor can potentially distort the measurement results. A SENSOREX hardware and software provides correct extraction of saturation and perfusion coefficient and also extracts a plethysmographic wave suitable for subsequent adaptive signal processing implemented in the device to eliminate the effects of natural patient movement. At the time of the publication, the SENSOREX is at the final stage of Russian Federation state registration as a medical device for professional and home care usage. The implemented software-hardware solution is suitable for different categories of patients and uses with Nellcor - compatible fingertip sensors of various way of attachments. During the development, contradictions in the stakeholders' requirements and regulatory documents were considered, which entailed difficulties in engineering implementation. The paper presents the found methods to overcome those challenges and discusses the further promising development of the software and hardware complex and subsequent signal processing.","PeriodicalId":281783,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 22nd International Conference of Young Professionals in Electron Devices and Materials (EDM)","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128813634","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
