However, among all the possible adapting plans, which one performs best is still an unsolved problem, as well as the underlying principles. Towards finding the answer, this paper analyses all the combinations of the parameter adaptation. The conclusion is that the local and global adapting plan make use of different information for discrimination. Adapting both the local and global aspect is capable of use the both information for discrimination. In the experiments, a study of 5 specific adapting plans is performed in different available test data, relevance factor, number of mixtures and feature set, which shows the advantages of the plan adapting both aspects. On the point based feature set, the weight adapting plan performs better than the mean adapting plan, which is contradict with the current research. On the all point based feature set, the plan adapting both the mean and weight acquired competitive performance with the state-of-the-art.","PeriodicalId":275095,"journal":{"name":"2016 9th International Congress on Image and Signal Processing, BioMedical Engineering and Informatics (CISP-BMEI)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134149664","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the proposed method, we first use the SIFT operator to detect key points in each frame. Then we use a closest matching method to find the correspondence among multi-frame images. The corresponding key points are used to register multi-frame images to a reference image, which is randomly selected from the multi-frame images. After registration, we combine the aligned multi-frame images to form a high-quality and high-resolution image. We applied the proposed method to enhance the quality of 250 million pixel images, which is obtained by the Canon's 250Mpixel CMOS-image-sensor.","PeriodicalId":275095,"journal":{"name":"2016 9th International Congress on Image and Signal Processing, BioMedical Engineering and Informatics (CISP-BMEI)","volume":"55 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131961299","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Eleven boundaries of ten retinal layers in optical coherence tomography (OCT) images are exactly, fast and reliably quantified. Instead of considering the intensity or gradient features of the single-pixel, the proposed method focuses on the whole edge-based image cues. The image is represented as a complete weighted graph with connected components as nodes. Each node is ranked based on the gradient and spatial distance information of the connected components, and the affinity matrices. Segmentation is efficiently implemented in a three-stage project to extract eleven boundaries. The segmentation algorithm is evaluated on 64 OCT images from two different databases, and is compared with the manual tracings of two independent observers. It demonstrates encouraging results in term of the mean unsigned boundaries errors and the mean signed boundaries errors.","PeriodicalId":275095,"journal":{"name":"2016 9th International Congress on Image and Signal Processing, BioMedical Engineering and Informatics (CISP-BMEI)","volume":"120 8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133710775","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We studied the relationship between CIMT and DAI in Chinese population. 65 outpatients (26 males and 39 females) aged 24–78 years (51±19 years) recruited from carotid ultrasound examination room were taken into the study. We used a tonometric device (IIM-2010A to measure DAI, pules wave velocity (PWV) and augmentation index (AI), and a Sonosite Micromax ultrasound unit to measure CIMT. CIMT was negatively correlated with DAI (r=−0.636, P<0.01), and positively relevant with PWV and AI (r=0.396 and r=0.596, P<0.01 for both). DAI was negatively related to AI (r=−0.522 and P<0.001). Age, PWV and DAI were independent predictors of CIMT, while age, CIMT and central blood pressure were independent predictors of DAI. CIMT was age-dependent and significantly related to DAI besides other parameters for arterial stiffness including PWV and AI.","PeriodicalId":275095,"journal":{"name":"2016 9th International Congress on Image and Signal Processing, BioMedical Engineering and Informatics (CISP-BMEI)","volume":"90 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133397472","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

When the model is updated, according to the characteristics of continuous video frame, the background model is divided into static regions and dynamic regions, and the background is updated in different strategies. Then, this paper presents an algorithm for the intrusion detection. Intrusion is judged by whether the centroid of the target is in the specific area. If the centroid is located outside the area, it shows that the target does not invade the specific area, otherwise the target invades the specific area. If so, the system triggers alarm and label information appear on the video frames. The combined analog circuit system can work properly when one or several parts of it break down. Then, what factors affect the fault-tolerant performance of such systems? System function is the most direct reflection of the output of a circuit, it can necessarily give us much useful information. From the perspective of vectors,this paper analyzed the phase angle of the combined circuit system based on system functions and furthermore inferred the relation between angle and fault-tolerant abilities. Experimental results show that, the larger angle a combined circuit system has, the better its fault-tolerant performance is, which will provide great benefit for designing analog circuit with better fault tolerance.","PeriodicalId":275095,"journal":{"name":"2016 9th International Congress on Image and Signal Processing, BioMedical Engineering and Informatics (CISP-BMEI)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116646363","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
