Arabic as a foreign language taught in various Indonesian educational institutions is also trying to keep up with the times. One of the breakthroughs made by educators is to convert and adapt Arabic teaching materials which were in the form of books, modules, and audio into interactive teaching materials designed with the latest applications. This brings out new ideas for the progress of learning Arabic, so that various difficulties experienced so far can be overcome properly. This study aims to identify and describe the challenges faced by Arabic language activists in the era of society 5.0 based on the use of interactive applications to make Arabic learning videos. The research was carried out with a descriptive quantitative approach to explain the results of research in various educational institutions in Bone Regency. The result of this research is that the teachers must have special skills to optimize the use of technology in the learning process, so that students can absorb more of the materials. The population and samples were taken from Arabic students at STAI Al-Musdariyah Cimahi city with a total number of 29 students. This research was qualitative research with descriptive method and the data were analyzed using data source triangulation technique. The findings of this study: 1) lectures were carried out online and offline based on the results of distributing questionnaires as many as 58.6% of students determine that the implementation of learning was carried out online & offline or blended learning, 34.5% of students preferred offline learning and as many as 6.9 % set for full online. 2) learning technology used as a means of online learning, namely WhatsApp as learning monitoring, Zoom as face-to-face learning, YouTube as a media for learning Arabic. While offline learning uses projector and language labs as learning support. This study used a qualitative approach, where data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. Data analysis was carried out by reducing, interpreting, presenting, and drawing conclusions. Data testing is done through triangulation. The problem with this research was formulated interrogatively as follows: Is the implementation of communicative methods capable of improving the speaking skills of eighth grade students at National Islamic Junior School, Bandar Lampung? This research can be categorized as Classroom Action Research, and as subject research. They are all eight grade students at National Islamic Junior School Bandar Lampung. To obtain data, this research used several methods: observation, interview, documentation, and testing. This research is qualitative research, and the data was analyzed in three steps: data reduction, data display, and then interpretation. But in reality, there are many learning processes that do not use even do not have the right textbooks or teaching materials, like the researcher found in Al-Khoiriyah Ma’hadul Qur’an dormitory Sukorejo Situbondo. This was impacting on their lack of speaking skills, while they have to communicate in Arabic and English everyday as bilingual dormitory. Therefore, they need specific learning textbooks so that teaching and learning activities can be directed correctly, especially the textbooks that can support learning maharah kalam, so they can improve their speaking skills. This study aims to preparation textbooks of maharah kalam using functional approach because students need materials that related with their daily activities and functional verbal expressions. The method of this research was research and development (R&D)\"which was proposed by Borg and Gall. The design of the product trial went through the expert validation, content and instructional design expert. The results of this textbook trial showed that this textbook was effective to meet the students need to increase speaking skills which using pre-test and post-test exercise, with pre-test result from 58,6 then increase in post test to be 85 and also the result of the teachers and students questionnaire is very good and effective to use after using this product. Starting from the existence of the Learning Management System (LMS), the use of various kinds of Video Conferencing, even to the use of social media which is not a medium for learning but still used for the expected learning to take place. The research objective was to find out how to process and student’s responses related to the use of Video conferencing (Google Meet) in learning Khat Imla’ in the Arabic Language Education Department (PBA) in Semester II and IV of IAIN Surakarta. This type of research is qualitative with descriptive methods. The data collection techniques are interviews and questionnaires. The result of this study is the learning process using Google Meet video conferencing has been going quite well, seen from the level of student participation in attending lectures is very satisfying. In terms of understanding the material, it is quite understandable by students.
