Secara faktual saat ini Pantai Gesing telah dimanfaatkan sebagai tempat kegiatan tambat labuh perahu/kapal perikanan atau oleh lebih kurang 100 perahu nelayan setiap harinya namun fasilitas berupa pelabuhan belum tersedia. Ketersediaan data pasang surut yang akurat dan kontinu di perairan Pantai Gesing Kabupaten Gunung Kidul Yogyakarta masih sangat terbatas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik dan tipe pasang surut serta elevasi muka air rencana menggunakan metode admiralty dan least square. Hasil perhitungan menggunakan metode admiralty (least square) untuk nilai HHWL sebesar 1,61 (2,305) meter; MHWL sebesar 1,22 (1,695) meter; MSL sebesar 0,81 (0,81) meter; MLWL sebesar 0,4 (-0.035) meter LLWL sebesar 0 (-0,645) meter; secara berturut-turut, sementara nilai tunggang pasang surut sebesar 1,423 (2,95) meter. Berdasarkan nilai bilangan Formzahl kedua metode memiliki nilai berbeda, namun masih dalam satu tipe yang sama, yaitu mempunyai type pasang surut campuran condong ke harian ganda.AbstractGesing Beach is located in Girikarto Village, Panggang District, Gunung Kidul Regency, Yogyakarta. Factually, Gesing Beach has been used as a place to anchor fishing boats or by approximately 100 fishing boats every day, but facilities in the form of a harbor are not yet available. The availability of accurate and continuous tidal data in Gesing Beach, Gunung Kidul Regency, Yogyakarta is still minimal. This study aimed to determine the characteristics and types of tides and elevation of the plan water level using admiralty and least square methods. The results of calculations using the admiralty method (least square) for the value of HHWL of 1.61 (2.305) meters; MHWL of 1.22 (1.695) meters; MSL of 0.81 (0.81) meters; MLWL of 0.4 (-0.035) meters LLWL of 0 (-0.645) meters; respectively, while the value of tidal ridge of 1.423 (2.95) meters. Raja Ampat terletak pada kawasan Coral Triangle atau pusat segitiga karang dunia. Kabupaten Raja Ampat terdapat beberapa selat dan teluk salah satunya yaitu Selat Mansuar yang berada diantara Pulau Gam dan Pulau Mansuar. Kondisi morfologi dasar laut yang terjal dan tertutup terumbu karang, topografi perairan yang tidak teratur, posisi perairan yang berada di pintu masuk bagian timur laut ARLINDO, serta adanya pengaruh arus Halmahera Eddie memberikan pengaruh yang pada kecepatan dan arah arus di Selat Mansuar. Kondisi tersebut dipengaruhi pula oleh batimetri perairan yang cukup kompleks sehingga sangat menarik untuk dilakukan pengkajian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik arus laut di Selat Mansuar, Kabupaten Raja Ampat. Pendekatan numerik dilakukan melalui pemodelan hidrodinamika dua dimensi. Hasil pendekatan hidrodinamika akan menghasilkan kecepatan dan arah arus, serta nilai pasang surut. Data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu data angin ERA-5, batimetri nasional (BATNAS), serta data arus dan pasang surut pengukuran lapangan bersumber dari Pusat Penelitian dan Pengembangan Geologi Kelautan (P3GL). Hasil pemodelan berupa kecepatan dan arah arus untuk kemudian di validasi dengan data pengukuran lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik arus di Selat Mansuar lebih dominan dipengaruhi oleh arus pasut. Pola arus yang dihasilkan pada puncak siklus angin Musim peralihan I bergerak dominan ke arah Tenggara. Pada kondisi surut menuju pasang arus memiliki kecepatan lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kondisi lainnya, dengan nilai kecepatan rata-rata mencapai 0.235 m/s. Berdasarkan hasil analisis komponen pasang surut, Selat mansuar termasuk tipe pasang surut Campuran Condong Harian Ganda.AbstractRaja Ampat Regency is famous for its beautiful natural scenery and white sand beaches. Raja Ampat is located in the Coral Triangle area or the center of the world's coral triangle. Raja Ampat Regency has several straits and bays, one of which is the Mansuar Strait between Gam Island and Mansuar Island. The morphological conditions of the seabed are steep and covered with coral reefs, irregular water topography, the position of the waters at the entrance to the northeast part of ARLINDO, and the influence of the Halmahera Eddie current which affects the speed and direction of the current in the Mansuar Strait. These conditions are also influenced by the bathymetry of the waters which are quite complex so it is very interesting to do an assessment. This study aims to determine the characteristics of ocean currents in the Mansuar Strait, Raja Ampat Regency. The numerical approach is done through two-dimensional hydrodynamic modeling. Perairan Teluk Awur merupakan perairan yang dinamis di mana garis pantainya berpotensi mengalami perubahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi perubahan garis pantai yang terjadi di Perairan Teluk Awur Jepara dari tahun 2012-2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan data citra Landsat 7 dan Landsat 8, dengan pengolahan data menggunakan software DSAS (Digital Shoreline Analisys System). Data lain yang digunakan yaitu data pasang surut dan data angin. Hasil penelitian menunjukan perubahan garis pantai Perairan Teluk Awur dominan terjadi abrasi di banding akresi. Abrasi maskimal selama tahun 2012 – 2021 sebesar 3,435 ha dengan laju perubahan 16,36 m/tahun. Akresi maksimal seluas 0,602 ha dengan laju perubahan 16,05 m/tahun. Faktor yang mengakibatkan terjadinya abrasi adalah angin yang membangkitkan gelombang serta tidak adanya bangunan pemecah gelombang, sedangkan akresi disebabkan oleh adanya proses sedimentasi.AbstractShoreline change is an ongoing process where the coastline can experience erosion (abrasion) and addition (accretion) caused by several factors such as sediment movement, wave movement, and land use. Teluk Awur waters are dynamic waters where the coastline has the potential to change. This study aims to identify shoreline changes that have occurred in the Awur Jepara Bay waters from 2012-2021. This study uses Landsat 7 and Landsat 8 image data, with data processing using DSAS (Digital Shoreline Analysis System) software. Other data used are tidal data and wind data. The results showed that changes in the shoreline of Teluk Awur waters were dominated by abrasion compared to accretion. Maximum abrasion during 2012 – 2021 is 3.435 ha with a rate of change of 16.36 m/year. The maximum accretion area is 0.602 ha with a rate of change of 16.05 m/year. Pembuangan limbah domestik yang terus-menerus akan berpengaruh terhadap keseimbangan kondisi perairan di Pantai Slamaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola sebaran klorofil-a serta hubungan antara klorofil-a dengan parameter oseanografi (salinitas, pH, Dissolved Oxygen (DO), suhu, dan kecerahan) di perairan Pantai Slamaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif. Data primer yang digunakan berupa data konsentrasi klorofil-a dan parameter oseanografi in situ serta data angin sebagai data sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola distribusi klorofil-a bergerak secara divergen, dimana konsentrasi klorofil-a semakin kecil nilainya menuju ke arah laut lepas. Konsentrasi klorofil-a pada penelitian ini berkisar antara 0,5064 mg/m3 – 1,4970 mg/m3 serta nilai parameter oseanografi salinitas berkisar 23-34 ‰, pH berkisar 7,7-8, DO berkisar 5,87-7,14 mg/l, suhu menunjukkan nilai berkisar antara 30,26 – 31,25 ºC, dan kecerahan berkisar 125-250 cm. Koefisien korelasi klorofil-a dengan salinitas sebesar r = 0,74, menunjukkan hubungan yang sedang. Koefisien korelasi klorofil-a dan pH sebesar r = 0,56, menunjukkan hubungan yang sedang. Koefisien korelasi klorofil-a dengan DO r = 0,59, menunjukkan hubungan yang sedang. Koefisien korelasi klorofil-a dengan suhu sebesar r = 0,04, menunjukkan hubungan yang lemah. Serta nilai koefisien korelasi klorofil-a dengan kecerahan sebesar r = 0,24, menunjukkan hubungan yang lemah.AbstractSlamaran Beach is a water area in the City of Pekalongan with quite dense community activities such as being used for residential areas, fish auctions, ports and industrial activities. Continuous disposal of domestic waste will affect the balance of water conditions in Slamaran Beach. This study aims to determine the distribution pattern of chlorophyll-a and the relationship between chlorophyll-a and oceanographic parameters (salinity, pH, Dissolved Oxygen (DO), temperature, and brightness) in the waters of Slamaran Beach. The method used is a quantitative method. The primary data used are chlorophyll-a concentration data and in situ oceanographic parameters and wind data as secondary data. The results showed that the distribution pattern of chlorophyll-a moves in a divergent manner, where the concentration of chlorophyll-a decreases in value towards the open sea. The concentration of chlorophyll-a in this study ranged from 0.5064 mg/m3 – 1.4970 mg/m3 and the values of oceanographic parameters for salinity ranged from 23-34‰, pH ranged from 7.7-8, DO ranged from 5.87-7.14 mg/l, the temperature shows values ranging from 30.26 – 31.25 ºC, and the brightness ranges from 125-250 cm. Pulau Karimunjawa ini memiliki karakteristik yang spesifik baik secara geografis maupun ekologissebagai kawasan perairan tipe semi tertutup. Pulau ini dikelilingi oleh gugusan pulau-pulau besar dan kecil. Lokasi yang spesifik ini akan mempengaruhi arah, kecepatan dan pola arus serta karakteristik gelombang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini akan mengkaji pola pergerakan arus permukaan melalui pendekatan model dua dimensi di Perairan Karimunjawa, khususnya di perairan Pulau Nyamuk. Pola pergerakan arus diperoleh berdasarkan model pendekatan hidrodinamika 2D. Verifikasi kesesuaian model dilakukan dengan membandingkan terhadap hasil pengukuran lapangan tanggal 23-26 Oktober 2021. Pengukuran arus menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecepatan arus maksimum 0,056 m/s ke arah 66° dan arus minimum 0,001 ke arah 38° dengan karakteristik arus pasut sebesar 51,44%. Pasang surut perairan Nyamuk, Karimunjawa bertipe pasang surut tunggal. Hasil simulasi model menggunakan pendekatan hidrodinamika 2D menggambarkan arah pergerakan arus yang terjadi cenderung bersifat bolak–balik akibat adanya dominasi arus pasut dengan kecepatan rata–rata 0,013 m/s.AbstractNyamuk Island is one of the island groups in the Karimunjawa National Park area of Karimunjawa, Jepara Regency, Central Java Province. Karimunjawa has specific characteristics both geographically and ecologically, namely the water area is a semi-closed type, because it is surrounded by a group of islands, both large and small islands. Karimunjawa waters will be greatly influenced by the direction, speed, and pattern of currents and the characteristics of the waves that occur at that time. This study aims to determine the pattern of surface current movement with a two-dimensional model approach in Nyamuk Waters, Karimunjawa. The current movement pattern is obtained based on the 2D hydrodynamic approach model. Verification of the suitability of the model is carried out by comparing the results of field measurements carried out on October 23-26 October 2021. The current is carried out using a quantitative descriptive method. The results showed that the maximum current velocity was 0.056 m/s in the direction of 66° and the minimum current was 0.001 in the direction of 38° with a tidal current characteristic of 51.44%. Di sekitar pantai ini ditemukan rumah tinggal penduduk, memiliki wahana sebagai tempat memancing, dan memiliki destinasi menarik bagi wisatawan. Aktivitas daerah hulu sungai dan daratan memiliki kontribusi terhadap masukan sedimen, yang telah menyebabkan pendangkalan di Pantai Seribu Ranting. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menentukan distribusi ukuran partikel sedimen di Pantai Seribu Ranting. Metode penentuan ukuran partikel sedimen berdasarkan pengayakan dan pipeting. Penelitian ini dilakukan 18 stasiun pada bulan Februari 2022. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan bahwa jenis sedimen pasir adalah yang mendominasi. Jenis sedimen lainnya yang ditemukan yaitu lanau, lumpur pasir, dan pasir lanauan. Distribusi sedimen dipengaruhi oleh arus sepanjang pantai, yang merupakan arus pasang surut. Hasil analisis metode admiralty menunjukkan bahwa tipe pasang surutnya merupakn campuran condong ke harian ganda.AbstractSeribu Ranting coastal waters are located in Kedung District, Jepara Regency, Central Java. Around this beach, there are houses for residents, rides as fishing spots, and attractive destinations for tourists. Activities in the upstream and inland areas have contributed to sediment input, which has caused siltation in Seribu Ranting Beach. This study aimed to determine the distribution of sediment particle sizes at Seribu Ranting Beach. The method of determining the extent of sediment particles is based on sieving and pipetting. This research was conducted at 18 stations in February 2022. The results found that the type of sand sediment dominates. Other types of sediment found were silt, silt mud, and silty sand. The sediment distribution is influenced by longshore currents, which are tidal currents. Hal ini dikarenakan banyaknya muara sungai yang mendepositkan sedimen di perairan tersebut, diantaranya adalah Sungai Jajar, Gojoyo, dan Saklenting. Muara sebagai penghubung antara sungai dengan laut, cenderung berpotensi terjadinya sedimentasi karena sedimen dari sungai dan dari laut akan bertemu di muara tersebut sehingga terjadi pendangkalan.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui karakteristik sedimen dan pola sebaran sedimen dasar di Perairan Wedung, Demak. Parameter yang diteliti antara lain sedimen dasar, arus, pasang surut, dan batimetri. Metode yang digunakan metode shieving kering dan basah, pemetaan dengan ArcGIS 10.3 dan pemodelan menggunakan MIKE 21. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan sebaran sedimen adalah jenis lanau, lanau pasiran, pasir, dan pasir lanauan. Kecepatan arus berkisar 0,000029 – 0,086279 m/s dengan jenis arus pasang surut. Kondisi batimetri landai dengan kedalaman 0 – 30 m.AbstractThe Wedung waters exhibit a relatively elevated sedimentation rate. This occurrence can be attributed to the substantial quantity of sediment deposited in these waters by various river estuaries, such as the Jajar, Gojoyo, and Saklenting Rivers. The estuarine environment, serving as a transitional zone between fluvial and marine systems, exhibits a propensity for sediment accumulation due to the confluence of riverine and marine sediment, leading to the phenomenon of siltation. The objective of this investigation was to ascertain the properties and spatial arrangement of sedimentary deposits located at Wedung Waters, Demak. The parameters that were examined encompassed bed load sediment, currents, tides, and bathymetry. The employed techniques encompass dry and wet sieving methodologies, cartographic representation through ArcGIS 10.3, and simulation via MIKE 21. The findings of this investigation suggest that the sediment distribution comprises a combination of silt and sand. The present velocity spectrum, including tidal currents, spans from 0.000029 to 0.086279 meters per second. Sisi barat Pantai Marunda terdapat Pelabuhan KCN Marunda dan di sisi timur terdapat jetty pada muara sungai Banjir Kanal Timur. Jetty dapat mempengaruhi energi arus sejajar pantai yang mentranspor sedimen di sepanjang pantai. Transpor sedimen dapat menyebabkan perubahan garis pantai akibat abrasi maupun sedimentasi. Penelitian ini perlu dilakukan untuk mengetahui proses hidrodinamika yang terjadi di Pantai Marunda yang menyebabkan perubahan garis pantai. Metode penelitian yang dipakai berupa metode kuantitatif. Data angin didapatkan melalui ECMWF dari tahun 2012 – 2022 yang digunakan untuk peramalan gelombang. Peramalan gelombang menggunakan metode SMB (Sverdrup Munk Bretchneider) dengan aplikasi easywave yang dikelompokkan ke dalam 4 musim. Nilai transpor sedimen didapat berdasarkan pada kondisi gelombang di lokasi penelitian. Perubahan garis pantai menggunakan DSAS (Digital Shoreline Analysis System) menggunakan citra Landsat 7 tahun 2012 dan Landsat 8 tahun 2014 - 2022. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan kecepatan arus sejajar pantai di Pantai Marunda pada musim barat dan peralihan 1 berkisar 0,75-0,91 m/s dengan arah arus bergerak menuju timur, sedangkan pada musim timur dan peralihan 2 berkisar 0,76-1,46 m/s dengan arah arus bergerak menuju barat. Arus sejajar pantai menghasilkan transpor sedimen sebesar - 105,65 m3/hari sampai 274,22 m3/hari dengan transpor tahunan berkisar -38.565,84 m3/tahun sampai 100.095,54 m3/tahun. Nilai transpor sedimen tersebut menyebabkan terjadinya perubahan garis pantai dengan akresi sebesar 2,1 ha dan abrasi sebesar 0,02 ha.AbstractMarunda Beach is located in Cilincing District, North Jakarta City. It is bordered by the KCN Marunda Port on the west side and a jetty at the mouth of East Flood Canal on the east side. The existance of jetty can affect the energy of longshore currents that transport sediment along the coast. Sediment transport can cause shoreline changes due to abrasion or sedimentation. This research aims to investigates the hydrodynamic processes that causes the coastline changes at Marunda Beach. The research method was a quantitative method. Wind data was obtained from ECMWF (2012 – 2022) and it is used for wave forecasting. Wave forecasting used the SMB (Sverdrup Munk Bretchneider) method with easywave application which was divided into 4 seasons. The value of sediment transport was obtained based on the wave conditions at the study site. Changes in coastline was analyzed by DSAS (Digital Shoreline Analysis System) using Landsat 7 in 2012 and Landsat 8 images in 2014 - 2022. The results show that the longshore current velocity at Marunda Beach in the west season and transition 1 ranges from 0.75 to 0.91 m/s with the current moving eastward, while in the east monsoon and transition 2 it ranges from 0.76 to1.46 m/s with the current moving westward. Perubahan ini menyebabkan wilayah pesisir Pantai Bagik Kembar seringkali mengalami banjir yang dapat merugikan aktivitas dan pemukiman warga sekitar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis luasan abrasi dan akresi yang terjadi pada tahun 2012 hingga 2022 di pesisir Pantai Bagik Kembar dan sekitarnya. Metode yang digunakan yaitu analisis DSAS (Digital Shoreline Analysis System) dengan menghitung nilai NSM dan EPR menggunakan data citra Landsat 7 pada tahun 2012 dan Landsat 8 pada tahun 2017 dan 2022. Analisis ini dikaitkan dengan data kelerengan pantai, sedimen, pasang surut BIG, data angin dan peramalan gelombang serta arus sejajar pantai dari perhitungan gelombang pecah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pesisir Pantai Bagik Kembar dan sekitarnya mengalami perubahan garis pantai yang didominasi oleh terjadinya abrasi dengan luas pada tahun 2012 – 2017 sebesar 2,512 ha dan pada tahun 2017 – 2022 luas abrasi 1,892 ha. Sedangkan akresi yang terjadi hanya 0,296 ha pada tahun 2012 – 2017 dan 0,114 ha pada tahun 2017 – 2022. Faktor penyebab perubahan garis pantai didominasi oleh gelombang yang dibangkitkan oleh angin sehingga menyebabkan terjadinya transpor sedimen oleh arus sejajar pantai.AbstractBagik Kembar Beach is a beach located in Sekarbela District, Mataram City, which often experiences changes in the coastline every year. These changes cause the coastal area of Bagik Kembar Beach to often experience disasters that can harm activities and local residents. The purpose of this study is to analyze the extent of shoreline changes that occurred from 2012 to 2022 on the coast of Bagik Kembar Beach and its surroundings. The method used is DSAS (Digital Shoreline Analysis System) analysis by calculating NSM and EPR values using Landsat 7 image data in 2012 and Landsat 8 in 2017 and 2022. This analysis is associated with coastal slope data, sediment, BIG tides, wind data and wave forecasting, and parallel coastal currents from breaking wave calculations. The results showed that the coast of Bagik Kembar Beach and its surroundings experienced changes in the coastline dominated by abrasion with an area in 2012-2017 of 2.512 ha and in 2017-2022 the abrasion area was 1.892 ha. While accretion that occurred was only 0.296 ha in 2012 - 2017 and 0.114 ha in 2017 - 2022. Banyak limbah dari aktivitas tersebut berakhir di sungai. Bahan organik yang terkandung di dalam limbah apabila melebihi ambang batas dapat menyebabkan perairan yang eutrofik. Konsentrasi karbon organik pada sedimen dapat dijadikan indikator untuk mengetahui kualitas perairan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sebaran karbon organik total (KOT) dan hubungannya dengan jenis dan statistik sedimen. Analisis yang dilakukan meliputi analisis KOT dengan metode LOI (Loss of Ignition), Analisis ukuran butir sedimen, statistik sedimen, pasang surut dan arus permukaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan Muara Sungai Banger didominasi oleh fraksi sedimen lanau dengan konsentrasi KOT berada dalam kategori sedang-tinggi di angka 5,1% 21,63%. Korelasi antara KOT dengan jenis dan statistik sedimen dapat dianalisis dengan SPSS menggunakan metode bivariat pearson. KOT memiliki nilai pearson correlation yang positif terhadap fraksi lanau (0.884). KOT banyak ditemui pada sedimen yang memiliki ukuran butir halus yang lebih mudah untuk mengadsorpsi karbon yang ada di perairan. Nilai pearson correlation antara KOT dengan nilai mean menunjukan hubungan yang negatif (-0.813). Nilai mean yang tinggi menunjukan bahwa ukuran butir sedimen yang lebih kasar, artinya apabila nilai mean sedimen semakin besar maka KOT yang ditemukan semakin rendah konsentrasinya.Kata kunci : Karbon Organik Total, Ukuran Butir, Statistik Sedimen, Muara Sungai Banger Abstract The Banger River is located in the North Pekalongan sub-district, a river with many human activities such as human settlement, industry, aquaculture, agriculture, and fishing activities along its river. Much of the waste from these activities end up in rivers. If it exceeds the threshold, the organic matter contained in the waste can cause eutrophic waters. Carbon concentration in sediment can be used as an indicator to determine water quality. This study aims to determine the distribution of total organic carbon (TOC) and its correlation with sediment type and sediment statistics. This research was carried out on August 24, 2021. The analysis includes TOC analysis using the LOI (Loss of Ignition) method, sediment grain size analysis, sediment statistics, tides, and surface currents. The results showed that the Banger River Estuary was dominated by the silt sediment fraction with organic carbon concentrations in the medium-high category at 5.1% to 21.63%. The correlation between TOC and sediment type and sediment statistics can be analyzed by SPSS using the Pearson bivariate method. TOC has a positive Pearson value correlation with the silt sediment fraction (0.884). TOC is mostly found in sediments that have a fine grain size that is easier to adsorb carbon in the waters.
