The principles of network communication imply the rejection of a hierarchical structure of management and control, the formation of a contractual basis between citizens and the authorities on the basis of openness and common goals and values. The article considers the ecosystem of digital mechanisms of public communication between the government and society, which are represented by diverse and multi-level agents of power acting as repeaters of public sentiment and requests in social network sites.In order to identify the features of the ecosystem of communication between government and society in social networks, an empirical study was conducted using the example of the Yaroslavl region using political science tools, in particular, such methods as event analysis, content analysis and network analysis. The study involves considering the pages in social network sites of the following government agents: the official page of the Governor of the Yaroslavl region, mayors of major cities of the region (Yaroslavl, Rybinsk, Pereslavl-Zalessky). As part of the analysis, the topics of publications /messages of government agents /citizens and the effectiveness of processing citizens' requests by agents will be revealed. As a result of the study, the coefficient of the coefficient of involvement of government agents in online communication with the population was developed.","PeriodicalId":273205,"journal":{"name":"2022 Communication Strategies in Digital Society Seminar (ComSDS)","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126137858","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This activity is marked by the people from the power structures having profiles in the social networks Instagram, Facebook, VKontakte and others.Krasnoyarsk is one of the 12 cities in Russia with the population over a million; in the eastern part of Russia it is one of the three largest cities along with Novosibirsk (1 million 600 thousand people), Omsk (1 million 150 thousand people). At the same time, the city of Krasnoyarsk claims a more significant economic, political and cultural role than it currently plays in Russia and worldwide.In the course of the research, a survey of young people studying in higher educational institutions of Krasnoyarsk was conducted. This survey testifies to the low student’ awareness of the city’s 400th anniversary, discussed in the virtual realm, its problems and development prospects. In addition, generally at the level of associations students objectively characterize their city, paying special attention to environmental problems which need to be solved.We have to acknowledge the insufficiency of Krasnoyarsk and the Krasnoyarsk Territory administrations’ efforts to form a positive image of the city of the future dedicated to the 400th anniversary of the capital of a large region of Russia. Current digital activity on Facebook, Instagram, VKontakte, Telegram, TikTok should not be limited to responses to criticism. As practice shows, to involve young citizens in solving the problems of the city development, proactive content is needed. The study of the citizens’ opinions provides a promising prospective for the digital interaction of communities in the urban space.","PeriodicalId":273205,"journal":{"name":"2022 Communication Strategies in Digital Society Seminar (ComSDS)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122444858","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
{"title":"Reputation Management as an Applied Communication Technology in Digital Society","authors":"I. Bykov, Julia D. Akhmedova","doi":"10.1109/comsds55328.2022.9769117","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/comsds55328.2022.9769117","url":null,"abstract":"This paper aims to study the advantages of reputation management as an applied science in the digital society. In Russia, the theory of reputation management has not been adopted in full. Additionally, existing publications very often tend to ignore the issue of coordinating scientific theory and current practice. At the same time, an extensive system of PR support for government authorities has been created, as well as PR in business is highly developed, especially in public corporations. However, the mentioned gap between practice and theory remains. One of the ways to overcome the current situation can be found in the use of the case study approach in education and research with application to the specific cases from among current political events. In the fall of 2021, the elections of deputies of the Gosudarstvennay Duma (Russian Parliament) were held, after which the scandal around the deputy of the Gosudarstvennay Duma from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Valery Rashkin received a great response. The authors argue that the communication models developed within the framework of the modern theory of reputation management are applicable for the analysis of practical cases related to information attacks on basic PR subjects. A careful analysis of the case of Valery Rashkin easily reveals both general and specific factors that influenced the development of events. In particular, Rashkin’s anti-crisis communications errors include the flimsiness of the original ‘legend’, the inconsistency of the position, and the loss of support from the party. The informational attack on Valery Rashkin was of a professional and complex nature, while not affecting the most important political aspects of the established reputation. In our opinion, we cannot talk about the rejection of scientific research and the development of theoretical knowledge in the field of reputation management. We are talking about a combination of modern theoretical approaches, effective research methods, and practice for the development of public relations in Russia. Public relations as a scientific discipline is one of the applied sciences with direct practical application. This is precisely the competitive advantage of this specialty in Russia.","PeriodicalId":273205,"journal":{"name":"2022 Communication Strategies in Digital Society Seminar (ComSDS)","volume":"142 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114536432","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The concept of demediatization is defined. The concepts of administrative and narrative tracks of demediatization are introduced. Possible discursive strategies of narrative demediatization are indicated. The authors conduct empirical verification of hypotheses about the ontology and tools of local demediatization using the example of online discussions around the status of the Nobel Peace Prize 2021 and the status of nominees. The authors demonstrate the implementation of the process of demediatization in a network environment through communicative practices that are opposite to mediatization. The chronological framework of the study is from 8.10.2021 to 08.01.2022. The empirical database includes 7521 messages in 817 electronic media and posts in social networks: Vkontakte (30740), Facebook (10134) Telegram (6639) collected using the monitoring and analysis system of social networks, mass media, blogs, forums, sites with reviews Semanticforce.net.
