In this regard, we set the task in the article to determine what place media communication occupies in the digital space of public policy and public administration in Russia, and what role the digital communications system plays in their formation and implementation.The main vector of development of political communication is directed mainly from the state authorities to citizens through political and non-political organizations, as well as through the media (or mass media). It is the media that is a communication channel that carries out information interaction with other counterparties of the public area. In the digital space of public administration, what is needed is not a unilateral act of informing, but a process of stable feedback between participants in political and communication processes, which implies an equal exchange of accurate, complete, certified and verifiable information about political phenomena and processes, interfaced with those norms and values characteristic of this society, fundamental rights and freedoms of citizens. Of particular importance are the freedom to express their opinions openly, the freedom to seek, receive and disseminate information within a given political system through the media.In this regard, it is the network approach that seems fundamental as a methodological basis for the problem of the role of media communication in the public administration system. The concept of political networks analyzes the structure, the participants who make up the network, and the nature of the relations between them. The latter circumstance is a necessary determinant of the specifics of this methodology in the study of political media communication as a factor affecting the qualitative characteristics of public policy and public administration. In this regard, the public policy formed in the process of political communication also depends on the meaningful nature of communicative relationships, and public administration is implemented.","PeriodicalId":273205,"journal":{"name":"2022 Communication Strategies in Digital Society Seminar (ComSDS)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117256084","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To identify the most significant issues of informal political talk in everyday online spaces, we conducted a quantitative content analysis of posts published in Vk.com communities \"Overheard\" in 15 Russian cities over the last two years. The results of this study indicate that most conversations are non-political; however, third spaces shape social norms and rules of behavior, including those during the COVID-19 pandemic.","PeriodicalId":273205,"journal":{"name":"2022 Communication Strategies in Digital Society Seminar (ComSDS)","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121248179","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In Russia, the most consistent model of vigilantism is \"managed vigilantism\", meaning, on the one hand, restrictions and bans on activities of vigilante groups and organizations, and on the other hand, creation of opportunities for groups that use moderate practices and protect public values that are important for the state and society. The authors use cluster analysis and LDA analysis to study the discursive practices of seven vigilante communities belonging to four value spectrum areas. As a result, we identified discursive practices common to vigilante communities, which manifest common trends and a uniform vigilant culture in Russia.","PeriodicalId":273205,"journal":{"name":"2022 Communication Strategies in Digital Society Seminar (ComSDS)","volume":"101 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123199926","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, in Russia, until recently, it has been used mainly in academia, primarily by scientists dealing with environmental issues. Now we can state that the interest regarding this subject is growing day by day. The government is playing increasing role in promoting the idea of sustainable development. Russian business especially large high-technology companies, in turn, follow modern trends and declare their commitment to ESG principles, which in a broad sense represent the implementation of the sustainable development concept in commercial activities. Considering the requirements of the ESG-agenda in the formation of a company's communication strategy particularly in a digital environment makes it possible to improve the company's reputation with various stakeholder groups, primarily the government and society. Whereas refusal from such course of conduct may result in serious damage to both the corporate brand image and financial results of the company. The article examines the impact of ESG factors on the building of positive reputation among normative and diffuse stakeholder groups. The specifics of the use of Russian and foreign tools for monitoring non-financial performance of business units are determined. The dynamics of ESG indices changes as well as quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the degree of commitment to ESG principles of the largest Russian telecommunication companies are analyzed. Based on this analysis, the authors propose directions for introducing ESG-agenda in the communication strategy of large high-technology corporations particularly in a digital environment.","PeriodicalId":273205,"journal":{"name":"2022 Communication Strategies in Digital Society Seminar (ComSDS)","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-04-13","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127678163","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thus, courtesy rules differ for interaction by email, social media (channels, blogs) or messengers’ chats.
