Firstly, it improves the YOLOv2 by introducing depth-wise separable convolution replace the standard convolution used in the YOLOv2. The number of parameters on the convolution layer is reduced by 78.83%. Secondly, the Feature Pyramid Network is introduced into the detection model to replace the YOLOv2’s image feature fusion method and perform object detection tasks on multi-scale image features. As a result, the ability of the improved YOLOv2 detection model to detect the small-size object is enhanced. Experimental results on PASCAL VOC 2007 datasets show that the improved YOLOv2 has a competitive accuracy to YOLOv2 and better performance on the small-size object.","PeriodicalId":272255,"journal":{"name":"2018 6th International Conference on Multimedia Computing and Systems (ICMCS)","volume":"213 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-05-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130293252","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To date, Web services remain indispensable for communication in constrained and Cloud Computing environments. Web service protocols are of two famous kind; REST web service used to handle Media data type in web based application, and SOAP web service used in academic or industry environment. The main objective of this paper is to improve a previously proposed middleware SaaS solution independent of users and environments [9] (on premise or constrained application, Cloud). The middleware is completed by adding three new components, \"Task Receiver\" Component for filtering client by ability, \"Task Sorter\" Component for sorting requests by prioritization, and \"Task Persister\" Component for persisting requests and preventing any data loss. This is to reach some benefits such as environment security and selectivity.","PeriodicalId":272255,"journal":{"name":"2018 6th International Conference on Multimedia Computing and Systems (ICMCS)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-05-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115951163","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to counter illegal distribution of media files in Morocco, this paper suggests an effective algorithm that combines processing of both audio and video streams. We extract an audio fingerprint pattern which is embedded in video frames as a watermark using the discrete wavelet transform. The two data streams are then synchronized using a time code, and the final multimedia protected content is exported in JPEG2000 format, which is the format used for Digital Cinema Package (DCP) in Morocco. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm provides a high level of robustness, while the use of watermarks in a combination of audio and video streams allows to enhance the security of multimedia content.","PeriodicalId":272255,"journal":{"name":"2018 6th International Conference on Multimedia Computing and Systems (ICMCS)","volume":"140 5-6","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-05-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132062603","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Where, the neigh-boring initialization is done using the signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR). The route finding is optimized by a cost function which combines the remained energy and the traffic load at each node of the network’s paths. All the messages which circulate on the network are secured using the digital signature. The simulation results shown that, the proposed protocol increases the network’s lifetime and decreases the packets loss, especially, when used with the elliptic curve digital signature algorithm (ECDSA) under a 160 bits key.","PeriodicalId":272255,"journal":{"name":"2018 6th International Conference on Multimedia Computing and Systems (ICMCS)","volume":"55 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-05-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133241024","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The key solution to achieve a better accuracy position is to integrate new structure based on RF sampling (RFS). In this paper, this novel structure is introduced, analyzed and implemented using discrete components. Notably, the proposed architecture has the potential to be reconfigured in a sample, flexible and cost-effective manner. To evaluate the operational and the functionality of the designed receiver, experimental tests are accomplished. Three kinds of signals are expound 1) recorded signals reproducing the original ones are played. It can be arranged in such a way that signal is recorded on a standalone device, such as the one by Spirent system 2) simulated signals arranged by the Rohde & Schwarz systems including PRN code of satellites (4,10,31) 3) using a real constellation of GPS L1 while testing signals from GPS antenna. The GPS RF signal tested which assume values in band L1 (fc=1575.42 Mhz) and L2 (fc=1227.6MHz) is down converted to intermediate frequency signals (FIF) at a rate sampling frequency (Fs) varied with the RF signal’s input. The resulting signal crossing the RF front end and a BandPass sample (BPS) ADC device is acquired by employing the parallel code phase search acquisition algorithm (PCPA) which can determine visible satellites then tracked and used them for positioning.
