Simple structure, low cost and small size, the proposed analog battery charger is a very low cost solution because it doesn't need any calibration and no precise external resistor is needed to end of charge detection. This charger is implemented in TSMC 0.18um CMOS process with a power supply equal to 5V. The maximum charging current reaches 800mA with output voltage over or equal to 4.2V. The layout occupies a small active area of 1.5 mm2, the power dissipation is about 837mW and high-power efficiency of 92%.","PeriodicalId":272255,"journal":{"name":"2018 6th International Conference on Multimedia Computing and Systems (ICMCS)","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-05-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132839712","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

While the energy of background is described by the correlation matrix of the whole image, the target signatures could also be suppressed if they occupy a large proportion of the image. In this respect, we come up with an approach, which abandons possible target pixels based on spectral angle mapper (SAM) and then uses the left pixels to construct the correlation matrix. Based on this approach, we propose a new method named SAM-hCEM for target detection, which improves hierarchical CEM, a variation of CEM, and exhibits impressive performance for oil spill detection on MODIS datasets.","PeriodicalId":272255,"journal":{"name":"2018 6th International Conference on Multimedia Computing and Systems (ICMCS)","volume":"142 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-05-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116585141","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

That is because of using many algorithms that are implemented as automated tools and the ability to process dozens of images which might be calibrated or uncalibrated. When dealing with uncalibrated images, more processing time is usually required to perform \"self-calibration\". When using uncalibrated images, the images are usually not in perfect quality due to the uncalibrated nature of the capturing process. For this reason, this paper aims to study the impact of using image enhancement techniques on the quality of the building process of 3D models. This work mainly focus on the contrast of images. After applying the preprocessing procedures, the image sets where used to build the 3D models using three software kits (COLMAP, VSFM and Agisoft Photoscan). The results show that applying histogram equalization enhances the quality of the generated 3D models.","PeriodicalId":272255,"journal":{"name":"2018 6th International Conference on Multimedia Computing and Systems (ICMCS)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-05-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121647507","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, an efficient verification method of implementation of an application should also reject cases of invalid data which provide valid results. Thus, we propose in this paper a constraint-based analysis technique to detect vulnerabilities in Java applications at the executable level. We propose to exploit both the information contained in the Bytecode structure of the application and the information given by the user specification. Indeed, we show how the user specifications can be used to deduce the invalid input state that put the testing method in valid post-state and then to detect some defections in the Bytecode programs.","PeriodicalId":272255,"journal":{"name":"2018 6th International Conference on Multimedia Computing and Systems (ICMCS)","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122258612","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, a novel miniaturized circular patch antenna is designed and evaluated by a comparison study with previous similar structures. Simulation and optimization of a proposed circular microstrip antenna are carried out using the CST Microwave Studio. The effect of the excitation technology and the dimensions of the ground plane (GP) are studied. It is found that the GP position and the feeding technique can totally modify the operating frequency and the antenna radiation behavior. The results are general and can be used to investigate other scattering and antenna problems involving patch geometries.","PeriodicalId":272255,"journal":{"name":"2018 6th International Conference on Multimedia Computing and Systems (ICMCS)","volume":"98 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114488515","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

These middlewares offer programming frameworks strongly coupling the learning models of agents and their communication patterns. In most cases, when the number of agents increase, the communication models used heavily decrease the performance of these middlewares.In this paper, we present a novel model of micro ag ents middleware for massively distributed systems. This model is FIPA [1] compliant, and it is based on the principle of decoupling two aspects of the agent: the cognitive and the communication aspect. With this middleware, it is possible to create and deploy heterogeneous agents operating in distributed containers. To communicate with each other, agents of the platform can use polymorphic communication models adapted to their context. The main idea is to allow the agent to use any messaging system that has proven its performance in the field of High Performance Computing (HPC).","PeriodicalId":272255,"journal":{"name":"2018 6th International Conference on Multimedia Computing and Systems (ICMCS)","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123991558","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
