One of the compositions is “pesor” wrapped in patat leaves. Apart from being a food wrapper, patat leaves are used as traditional medicine. Research on the chemical content of patat leaves is still limited and needs to be further developed. In this study, phytochemical testing and chemical content of the extracts of n-hexane, ethyl acetate, and methanol from patat leaves were carried out. Phytochemical tests include alkaloid tests; steroid and terpenoid testing; flavonoid test; saponin test; phenolic hydroquinone; tannin and polyphenol test. Based on phytochemical test results, the extract of patat leaves was known to contain alkaloids, steroids, triterpenoids, flavonoids, saponins, phenolic hydroquinones, and tannins with different distributions at each level of solvent polarity. The instruments used to identify the chemical content of patat leaf extract were GCMS and LCMS QTOF. Through GCMS analysis on n-hexane extract, 114 compounds were identified with a similarity level of ≥ 80% to the library. Among these compounds, confirmed to be terpenoid and steroid compounds. In the LCMS analysis of ethyl acetate extract obtained 25 compounds and 31 compounds for methanol extract. This research used the pre-experimental method with a one-group pretest-postest design which was conducted in SMAN 5 Pontianak. Participants consist of 37 students of tenth-grade (Class IPA 4). The research instrument was used containing two valid and reliable essay questions. Data analyst was done descriptively and statistically, including n-gain and Wilcoxon test. Students' problem-solving skills were measured before and after being given treatment. The research results showed that the N-Gain (0,62) value with medium category of students problem-solving skills. These results were supported with the Wilcoxon test obtaining a significance value of 0,00 (<0,05). It indicated that H0 was rejected dan H1 was accepted. P. zeynalica L. plants are ethnopharmacologically used as antitumor, antioxidant, antimicrobial, anticancer, wound healed, and anti-inflammatory. This study aims to isolate secondary metabolites from the fraction of P. zeynalica L. leaf extracts with work stages that included isolation and determination of chemical structures by spectroscopy. Based on the results of the separation and purification of the ethyl acetate fraction obtained isolates in the form of a yellow oil suspected as a flavonoid.  The chemical structure of the isolates was identified based on UV-Vis spectroscopy data giving maximum absorption at λmax 339.60 nm and 278.80 nm, which are typical for dihydroflavonol. IR spectroscopy analysis of the isolates provided data information on the presence of aliphatic OH, C-H groups, carbonyl groups (C = O), C = C aromatic groups, and ether strain (C-O-C).  NMR data showed that the isolate had the molecular formula of C 21 H 22 O 10 , and its molecular weight confirmed by MS spectrometer was obtained m/z 434. This study is Research and Development (R & D) refers to the Borg and Gall model, which has been modified into five stages; preliminary study, preparation of product draft, validation and revision of product draft, legibility test, and product draft revision. As the instrument, this study was using a questionnaire about resistances and obstacles, observation sheets in learning, interview guidelines, validation sheets of teaching materials draft, and legibility response questionnaires. Data obtained from questionnaires, learning observation sheets, and interview guidelines were analyzed descriptively qualitatively to get the representation of the learning process that has been conducted so far. The validation sheet and legibility response questionnaire were analyzed quantitatively to determine the validity and legibility levels of teaching materials. The results of expert validation show that the developed teaching materials have a direct link between science, the environment, technology and society in solving problems related to daily life and the students as users give positive responses to the developed teaching materials in terms of content, appearance, novelty, problems, direction and work instructions. Batam merupakan daerah yang memiliki potensi besar terhadap pencemaran logam berat, karena tingginya aktifitas yang ada di perairan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di lima lokasi sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kerang dengan spesies Anadara sp., Perna viridis dan Crassostrea gigas. Logam berat yang diteliti yaitu logam kadmium (Cd), timbal (Pb) dan tembaga (Cu). Analisa logam berat dilakukan menggunakan Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS). Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan diperoleh faktor biokonsentrasi (BCF) logam berat pada spesies Anadara sp ., Perna viridis dan Crassostrea gigas .  Biokonsentrasi logam dalam medium air secara berturut-turut teramati bahwa Pb > Cu > Cd, dengan kategori BCF Pb dan Cu tergolong tinggi, serta Cd tidak terdeteksi.  Sedangkan untuk spesies Anadara sp . dalam medium sedimen diperoleh biokonsentrasi logam berat Cu > Cd > Pb dengan kategori BCF rendah untuk semua logam. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan Borg & Gall. Tahapan yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini hanya 7 tahapan dari 10 tahapan pengembangan. Kelayakan modul diukur dari lembar validasi yang dibagikan kepada 3 dosen ahli yaitu ahli materi, ahli pembelajaran, dan ahli media. Lembar validasi mencakup aspek isi, aspek bahasa, aspek penyajian, dan aspek kegrafikan. Analisis lembar validasi menggunakan Formula Aiken didapatkan hasil sebesar 0,799 dengan kriteria tinggi sehingga modul dinyatakan valid dan layak sebagai modul pembelajaran. Hasil respon mahasiswa terhadap modul yang dikembangkan dilakukan melalui tahap uji coba skala kecil dan skala menengah. Hasil uji coba skala kecil menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata aspek bahasa dan penyajian  persentase yang didapat masing-masing sebesar 85,00% dan 84,44% dengan kriteria baik sedangkan aspek bahasa dan kegrafikan masing-masing persentasenya yaitu 86,11% dan 89,44% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Hasil uji coba skala menengah didapatkan respon mahasiswa dengan kriteria sangat baik  pada seluruh aspek.Persentasenya yaitu aspek isi 87,83%, bahasa 87,00%, penyajian 87,30%, dan kegrafikan 90,17%. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D). Penelitian yang dilakukan hanya sampai langkah uji coba terbatas pada tahap pengembangan. Uji coba terbatas dilakukan terhadap 12 peserta didik kelas X di SMAN 1 Manyar Gresik. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen hasil angket respon peserta didik dan hasil observasi aktivitas peserta didik. Keanekaragaman hayati  masih terjaga dan pemanfaatan bahan alam dalam kehidupan masyarakat masih dipertahankan. Oleh  karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali pengetahuan lokal pada masyarakat Baduy. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode studi deskriptif kualitatif dan eksploratif. Dari hasil observasi lapangan, didapatkan tanaman pewarna alami telah digunakan masyarakat Baduy luar sejak dahulu dan ditemukan berdasarkan pencarian masyarakat Baduy terhadap beberapa tanaman disekitar yang dapat dijadikan sebagai pewarna. Tanaman pewarna yang digunakan diantaranya adalah  tarum ( Indigofera tinctoria ) (daun), mahoni ( Swietenia mahagoni ) (kulit), secang ( Caesalpinia sappan L ) (kulit), putri malu ( Mimosa pudica ) (daun), jengkol ( Archidendron pauciflorum ) (kulit) dan pinang ( Areca catechu L ) (buah) dan renrang (kulit). Informasi ini dapat dikembangkan menjadi kajian etnokimia yang kemudian diterapkan pada proses pembelajaran di jurusan Pendidikan Kimia Universitas Sultan Ageng tirtayasa. Pemodelan struktur molekul telah dilakukan secara komputasi dengan menggunakan paket program Hyperchem 8.0.10 . Hasil optimasi geometri menggunakan metode semi empiris AM1 menghasilkan energi total dari masing-masing senyawa dari senyawa A1-A6. Penentuan hubungan antara deskriptor yang meliputi Log P, Polari, SAG , SAA , EH, EHOMO, ELUMO, ΔEG, MD dan muatan bersih atom dengan aktivitas antimalaria (IC 50Eksperimen ) menunjukan terdapat korelasi. Deskriptor yang menunjukan terdapat adanya hubungan dengan aktivitas antimalaria (IC 50Eksperimen ) selanjutnya, ditentukan model persamaan HKSA terbaik dilakukan dengan analisis regresi multilinear menggunakan program SPSS 22 . Oleh karena itu, penting dilakukan penelitian tentang laju reaksi kapasitas penyerapan adsorben pada abu sekam padi ini. Dengan memperhatikan sifat-sifat kinetika kimia pada sekam padi, dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengenali karakter abu sekam padi pada kapasitas penyerapannya. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode pengujian pada dua persamaan adsorpsi kinetika yaitu Langmuir dan Freundlich pada perubahan konsentrasi NaOH. Hasil percobaan diketahui bahwa proses penyerapan NaOH mengikuti persamaan Langmuir dan Freundlich dengan r sebesar 0,973. Persamaan yang digunakan untuk menentukan kapasitas adsorpsi mengikuti persamaan Langmuir.
