Dependence of the parasitic drain-source (collector-emitter) capacitance of power transistors on applied of gate-source (base-emitter) voltage was established. A novel clarification of the mathematical model for high-power bipolar-junction and field-effect transistors taking into account parasitic capacitance changing under control voltage was developed. The possibility of using pulse-width modulation in conjunction with a quasi-resonant converter by using of bipolar-junction and field-effect transistors as a voltage-controlled capacitance for changing the natural frequency of resonant circuit was proposed. It is shown that such modification of chemical constitution is accompanied by essential changes in the donor-acceptor property and energy gap. For the quantitative estimation of the influence of substituents on the donor-acceptor characteristic, the topological index $varphi_{0}$ is used. The structure we study is a layered spherical cavity resonator with symmetrically or asymmetrically embedded spherical dielectric inclusion. The comparison of the exact numerical results for the frequency spectrum of such a layered resonator with centralized inner sphere, which are obtained directly from Maxwell equations, and the frequency spectrum found based on the developed theory reveals good agreement at the initial part of the frequency scale. In ceramics sintered at higher temperatures and durations there is an increase in the area of contact between grains, and also the open porosity is formed, which leads to an increase in the effective adsorption of humidity. A branched pore structure is required for effective sorption processes. Humidity sensitivity of ceramics and the minimum hysteresis in adsorption-desorption cycles are due to the three-dimensional distribution of pores in size and insignificant number of additional phases. The loss of humidity sensitivity in ceramics sintered at higher temperatures and durations is related with evolution of porous structure of ceramics. Here we use the analytical solution and experimental data for the metal complex permittivity function in the visible range. We find that the well-known textbook equation for the wavelength of the localized surface plasmon (LSP) resonances is valid for a silver cylinder but not for gold and copper ones. The reason is different values of losses in these metals: gold and copper have much larger values of imaginary part of the relative permittivity in the visible range than silver. This shifts the LSP resonances to considerably longer wavelengths. Carbon nanotube antennas are fabricated and tested to detect radiation with a displacement damage dose sensitivity of $1.1times 10^{-14}$ dB/MeV/g. The antenna directive gain, efficiency, impedance, beam width, radiation power, radiation pattern affect signal strength, transmission range, error rates and throughput. Data masking and authorized access control are enabled by secure communication which reduces the overall vulnerability. We protect and secure information by encrypting the data using symmetric encryption schemes. Data-centric security and resiliency are considered in wireless communication applications which may use the proposed carbon nanotube antennas.
